The Vista Paint manager came to greet us immediately and asked us how he could help. Although it appeared that he was the only employee on site, he stopped stocking merchandise at once as soon as he saw us center the Corona, CA store. There's 2 floors at this location and the first floor is where you will find the paint, paint brushes, floor coverings, tape, etc. The second floor is mostly filled with tons of wallpaper and different types of wall coverings. They have more in stock than Lowe's and Home Depot put together and if that's not enough, they have 2 walls full of catalogs of wallpaper you can order and have it get there in about 2-weeks. I spent lots of time trying to find a wallpaper store in my area. Frustrating and with poor results. Seems wallpaper has fallen out of grace. But then I discovered Vista Paints. The ONLY place in my area. They have tons of books, and tables to spread out with your paint chips and fabrics you brought from home. They even have in-stock rolls, but those are mostly rather dated and ugly in my opinion. I stuck with browsing the books and happily came up with several winners to choose from for my new, tiny bathroom. The only caveat is the massive stairway you must climb to get up there. The service? You might have to speak up to get their attention, but once gotten, they got me taken care of just fine and were very friendly. read more

Good service, friendly. Pricing is a little high for things like tape and brushes but they did have sales for packs of tape and things like that. But in all fairness their wallpaper was a good deal. I went here because I wanted branded paint. I did buy a Purdue brush, paint, and some wallpaper. If I didn't need things now I probably would have ordered them online due to the pricing being high for painting accessories. Branded paint you cant really get elsewhere and I think the majority of customers come here to buy paint. But if you need something now or a specific brush this place is great because they do have a huge selection and some of the things they carry you won't find at like a Home Depot. Everyone here is also very knowledgeable and educated so that's a plus. read more

I received amazing service from Jared and Gonzales. I initially called and Jared was so polite!--Even though I mentioned I may need to take my business elsewhere in case of any shortages and he was still extremely helpful offering swatches and paint matching-- Luckily everything was in stock and he was able to get me in and out in just under 20 min-- I was able to get everything I needed for painting my house exterior (up to color code with my HOA)! The people working here are not rude but just can't help you. They're trained not to give you any color advice in case you're unsatisfied. The website, which is not useful at all, says to visit the store for help selecting paint. Not so. There were easily 6 people working but none could do anything more than tell you to look through the paint cards. read more

My husband snd I were referred to vista paint in corona to look at their wallpaper selections. When we got there we were directed upstairs, we found what we wanted right away, we asked for help and the guy that came up to help us was rude and didn't know anything. He told us what we wanted would be a special order, but offered no assistance to place that order. He then left us and told us to find the sample book. Maybe the paint is good, maybe their service is too.. I have, unfortunately, no idea.. What I do know is that prior to spending $1500 or so on exterior paint for my home, I noticed a Valpak coupon in their iPhone app that was good for 2 FREE pint color samplers (probably worth about $3 each). This was a great way for us to test the chosen colors for our home. So, my wife made a special trip to the Vista Paint on Rimpau and asked for the samplers. She showed them the iPhone passbook coupon (which is how Valpak has you redeem it) and was told that they wouldn't honor the coupon. Seriously. They wouldn't honor their own coupon! It was valid. It was not expired. We were going to spend $1500 within a week or so for paint, and Vista Paint wouldn't honor the coupon for two small color samples. There's an old saying, "Don't be penny wise, pound foolish". In this case, Vista Paint would be wise to heed its wisdom. We'll be spending our $1500 elsewhere. Thanks Vista Paint! read more

I have spent the better part of a week and 5 quarts of paint going to various locations trying to match my house color. In the end I ended up cutting a piece of the house out and bringing it down to the various locations, all came close but close doesn't work. Benjamin Moore paint is great stuff. Getting it mixed at vista was fine, great service BUT they use Telecheck to take payment. 45 min to go through Telecheck process. Vista, get rid of telecheck. It frustrates your team, and if you care, it pisses off customers. Two days in a row, had Telecheck issues, and NOT because of my check...... And you pay for this????? read more

We had a upstairs toilet leak causing the drywall to be ripped out and replaced in the middle of our living room ceiling. I took a small piece of the ceiling in to be color matched and the first gallon was way off. Almost a gray color and very dark. I called the next day and spoke to Steve the manager and he said bring it in. He checked the paint himself and agreed it was no where color matched to my ceiling paint. So he refunded my money on the gallon of paint and gave me a quart of paint to try to see if it would work for free. It turned out to not work as well. Fearful that I was going to have to paint the entire living room and kitchen ceiling since it's all one room I came back to the store a 3rd time with another fresh sample of my ceiling to color match. They spent quite a bit of time making sure the paint was an exact match this time. I came home and rolled it on the area of the ceiling that needed paint and it is 100% spot on a match!!! I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. I appreciate Steve taking the time with me to make sure to get it right. Sure did save me the hassle of repainting that entire large room. read more

We've used Vista Paint before in other locations and know the quality so we went to this store to check it out. The service was excellent (Mario), though they could use more help since some customers require more attention when making selections. If you're going to require several gallons to be mixed, order it in advance and come back to pick it up - best way to go. But the staff goes out of their way to help you make your decisions.
