The woman who greeted me the first time was incredibly kind and helpful -- she had even helped me load bags of soil into my car earlier. She handled the return for me with no problem at all. Then I went back upstairs where the actual plumbing specialist helped me pick out the correct part. The customer service here is excellent. It's so close to my house that I prefer going there instead of a big store like Home Depot. I may pay a little more sometimes, but the convenience, helpful staff, and friendly service make it worth it. Usually, they're right and very knowledgeable. They said "no problem" and happily took my money. I emphasized that i was not available in the afternoon- it must be before noon. I received a text on Wednesday, confirming my delivery. I replied "yes, but it must be before noon." I received a confirmation text. On Friday at 7:21 PM (Eastern time), they sent me a text, saying delivery between 2PM and 6PM on Saturday. I replied "NO, IT MUST BE BEFORE NOON. It texted me back a phone number to call - but they only take calls until 7:00 PM (Eastern time). So they tell you they're going to miss the delivery window after it's too late to contact them [A cowardly move]. I called the store, and they said they couldn't help me, because deliveries are done by a third party. Bottom line: (1) Once Lowe's gets your money, you're on your own, and (2) They'll gladly take your payment for the delivery, but tell you to talk to the hand if there's a problem with delivery. You might think this is not the fault of Lowe's Carlsbad, but that's who took my money, that's who agreed to the delivery window, and that's who blew me off when a problem arose. Moral to the story, don't buy anything from Lowe's, that you can't carry yourself.

They knew exactly which aisle to send me and the big dude in Orange knew exactly what bins to look for. Again, nobody across SD had M3 set screws. They did. If you have an idea, walk around the store and there's bound be away to make your dream come true, I had to manufacture brackets to repair a table. The original brackets were no longer available. I found the appropriate bolt with the proper thread that most stores do not carry a large washer and I use a metal sealant to include two parts and drilled holes to screw them into the bottom of the table. Value sense of account accomplishment fixing something that they thought they're gonna have to throw away. the elderly couple actually still use this table and hope to use till the day they carried out their front door feet first.
