I originally went into Ace Hardware to get a flapper for my toilet. I went upstairs and spoke with…read moresomeone in plumbing who recommended a part. I even said, "This doesn't look big enough," but he assured me it was the correct one. I took it home and unfortunately it wasn't the right size, so I had to run back to the store. The woman who greeted me the first time was incredibly kind and helpful -- she had even helped me load bags of soil into my car earlier. She handled the return for me with no problem at all. Then I went back upstairs where the actual plumbing specialist helped me pick out the correct part. The customer service here is excellent. It's so close to my house that I prefer going there instead of a big store like Home Depot. I may pay a little more sometimes, but the convenience, helpful staff, and friendly service make it worth it. Usually, they're right and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this store for both customer service and convenience.

I don't know if it's always like this, but today when I went there, no prices were listed for anything so we had to ask an associate to price a bunch of stuff. I've always had to wait when I've been there, too. I've had two bad experiences. The first time I brought in paint to be matched, the guy made it too light. It was my painter that noticed and took it back to be fixed. The guy who helped my painter acknowledged that the paint they'd "matched" was 25% too light because the guy who'd done it had used a stir stick to compare as opposed to a piece of paper (I don't know how these things work but apparently this is common knowledge in the painting world). Secondly, on a different visit the same guy who mis-matched my paint also rang me up incorrectly. As I was leaving the store, I noticed he charged me for a more expensive roller than the one I had purchased. I took it back and he fixed it but it took him a while to figure it out. I think from now on I'll just drive a little further and go somewhere where they know what they're doing.

Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.

SUPER STOKED WITH THE RESULTS!!!!! I contacted Justin for a quote to paint my 15 year old, small,…read morebackyard basketball court (25' width x 24' length) and his quote was very competitive with other companies. I wanted a light blue free throw lane/key and the rest dark blue and also a Jordan jumpman logo. We originally scheduled Wednesday, January 28th but he was able to start on Tuesday, January 27th. I also had a concrete repair company come on Sunday, January 25th to repair some long cracks and patch up several small holes in the concrete. On Tuesday, It took about an hour or two for us to measure the "regulation size" free throw lane. Once we were happy with the measurements he snapped the guidelines and put down some painters tape and he used an electric blower to clean the court. He started painting the same day and he came back on Wednesday to finish the job. Overall, I believe he applied 2 coats of each color. He was honest about his Jordan logo stencil not looking perfect so we agreed to not do the logo. Nevertheless, I was very happy with the aesthetics for just two colors and white lines. Look at the before and after photos! He used a type of paint that keeps cool to the touch even with direct sunlight. We have not played basketball yet so maybe I'll do an update on the texture/grip of the court.
