It had been three years since Mike Dunn had to make a service call at our home in La Quinta. Although we both have aged a bit he is just as skilled as ever. Got right to the problem of an oven not working with a glass door that has spill from a turkey on Thanksgiving in 2019. Now all cleaned up and looking and working like new. Meanwhile, our clothes dryer was making an odd noise. Mike heard it and reached behind and tightened the connection to the gas line: problem solved. I can't comment on service because he didn't provide any. I had an issue with a Samsung dishwasher. Called him, got voicemail. He called back and I answered "Hello" he said "We don't service Samsung dishwashers or any other Samsung appliance. You need to find someone else." and hung up the phone. I didn't get one word in. It happens that I have a washing machine (not Samsung) with a non-urgent issue that I also wanted to talk to him about. With the rude response to my call, I would never give him any business on any other appliance. I called him right back (got voicemail) and left a message telling him exactly what I am writing here. Fridge-freezer OOO on hot summer day. Call to Dunn Right was answered by voice mail and second call a short time later was answered by Mike Dunn. He gave me estimated arrival time that day and called back to advise he was running slightly late. When he arrived, he was able to ID the problem quickly and gave a price to install the new part. My older refrigerator started acting up and wasn't cooling as it should. Turns out a common issue with these as they get older is the circuit board, they start going out. Only big problem is that they no longer make them for my model. I called and talked to Mike at Dunn Right, told him my issues and he knew right away that it was the board. He checked his inventory and had a new board which was great because I had trouble even finding a used one online let alone new. He came over same day, made the repair and now it's working good as new. That was great news for us because to buy a new Kitchenaid built in this size starts at 7k and due to covid there is no inventory right now. So even if I wanted to replace it I can not. Called them for a noisy GE refrigerator that was acting up at 9 in the morning and received a call back at 11:15 am and Mike was at my door by 11:45. He is very knowledgeable.
