I just purchased an old home with vertical blinds from the 1980's. I had the floors converted to concrete and in the grinding down process the fine dust created got into all the blinds of my house and one by one they broke becoming totally useless. It was very frustrating. Having other expenses from a newly purchased home the thought of buying new blinds was out of the question. With a little internet searching I found Shane and gave him a call explaining my situation. Shane came immediately (it was a Saturday too) and was up and fixing my blinds within one hour of my call. The cord on one of my 14 Hunter Douglas blinds broke. I've had these blinds for over 15 years with no problems. Because of the age of the blinds I searched the internet for a Hunter Douglas repair person. I expected to be told I'd need to have the blind replaced or have it taken to a shop for repair. I called a company with five stars where I was told they were backed up and it could be three to four weeks before the could come out. Dunn Right Blinds was also listed with five stars so I called the listed phone number and spoke with Shane Dunn. He was able to come out the following day. Shane examined the problem and said he thought he had in his truck what was needed to fix it. Please note this blind coverers a 6ft wide x 8ft tall sliding door. Within 45 minutes Shane worked his magic and repaired the problem. Watching what he had to do to restore it to working order was very interesting. I am very happy to have my blind working again. I would definitely call Dunn Right Blinds again if I ever need another blind repair. read more

I had 16 foot wide center opening vertical blinds installed in 2000 when I built my home. Recently one of the carrier pieces broke which meant I could open my blinds but only one side would close. Called them for a quote on 3 custom black out blinds for our Racquet Club MCM house. They answered the call promptly, and set up a hassle free estimate process. They arrived on time and measured, showed us all of our options and colors and we placed our order. We had guests coming into town the following weekend and they went out of their way to ask the factory to rush if possible ( no extra fees ). When the blinds were ready they called me and we set up a time. Again they showed up right on time, we had told them we just had our carpets cleaned and they brought drop clothes and removed their shoes without us even asking for that ! Blinds fit perfectly , installed quickly and painlessly and they are beautiful. They black out the rooms totally so our guests could sleep. I can't recommend Dunn Right highly enough, maybe not the rock bottom dirt cheapest in the valley but I always live by the motto you get what you pay for. They were worth every penny for sure.
