I had my car inspected at the same time since it was there anyway. I called to get an update and was told Joe was just finishing things up and I would get a call back when the paperwork was completed with the total cost of the work plus the inspection. When I did receive the amt I was shocked in a GOOD WAY! It was unbelievably reasonable! I am very familiar with Lakeview since I bought my car there years ago under prior ownership. Went in for 4 new tires mounted balanced and an alignment. Sunday may 17th I got 4 new tires but they couldn't align the truck ram1500 . So they sent me off with brand new tires and no alignment wearing the new $1200 set of tires. But None of that is bad compared to the scratches I noticed between the driver and driver rear door. After leaving Mavis. I went back Monday may 18th to let them know they scratched my truck pretty extensively and the not so friendly manager that wasn't even the one who was present when the truck was being worked on may 17th Sunday said "that's not from us look at all the other scratches around the truck" even though I had multiple people who had seen the truck previously to it going to Mavis confirm that they were not there. The manger told me that he's "not trying to be a jerk but I'm just speaking in reality" well in reality your advanced auto level "mechanics" scratched my truck past the clear coat... As we were driving on the highway my son noticed we were losing tire pressure fast so we exited the highway and found a gas station/convenience store to add air. We checked with a local garage and they weren't available (nice way of saying they couldn't be bothered). At this point we already needed more air and I started googling tire centers nearby and found this place 6 miles away. My son immediately called them and they said to come on over right away. This place was amazing, they patched the tire and we were on our way with only a small amount of time lost. This could have been a bad situation if we hadn't found them when we did and they graciously helped us.

Last time I was at harry's…read moretires was years ago and bought snow tires for both of my cars, so figured I'll go to Harry's again as I needed snow tires and a new headlight lamp for the drivers side and oil change for my car. My husband called and told the person what I needed, he said he doesn't know if he will get the headlight lamp in time for the appointment, so my husband offered to get it himself. After making the appointment and receiving the headlight lamp in time for my appointment, we brought the car down. I then received a call from them asking me if I had the the snow tires for my car and asked if my husband said "order the snow tires" to the person he spoke to. Well, of course my husband didn't know he had to use the words "ORDER SNOW TIRES", he only said "I need snow tires". The guy told me that they had to order them as at the end of year he would have to pay a tax for any unsold tires, and doesn't replace tires after they are sold out. I told him forget the tires then and just do headlight and oil change. I received another phone from them an hour later and they told me I needed an air filter, okay so be it. I finally received my last phone call telling me my car is ready, I asked the girl how much since I am paying cash, she quoted me $255.70. When I went to pick up my car, the owner (he said he was the owner) said $265. 64 .. I said I was quoted a different price. Long story short he charged me the amount I was quoted for. The next morning going to work at 430 a.m I noticed as soon as I pulled out, that my headlight wasn't adjusted. I now inspected the front of my car and saw the bumper on the passenger side was sticking out by the headlight as well. After calling up the next day when they opened, Keith the owner told me that the headlight usually comes in already adjusted. Guess he feels women are stupid .. who knows. Instead of me taking my car back to Harry's, I brought my car to my mechanic, after purchasing snow tires on ebay and found out that Harry's didn't install my headlight lamp right and that there was a band that was broken and glued together and that is why my fender was sticking out. I cannot say for sure that Harry's did it, but I am going to assume after the experience I've had. I sure hope that they actually changed my air filter and changed my oil. Wasted $255. to that company. I do not recommend Harry's tires. Sad, they used to be a good company under the original owners, but I guess the new owners just doesn't care? AVOID AVOID AVOID at all cost AVOID!!! Take your car someplace else ..
