Super good and fresh Turkish food i really enjoyed their chicken shawarma will definitely be back

The quality of the food far out matches the quality of the outside of the building! Highly recommend a stop here if in Orange Park. I won't go to OP without a stop here! Grape leaves, bubbagnoush (no idea how to spell), scharma. You can't go wrong here. Order at the counter, eat, then pay back at counter type of place.

Best Turkish Halal food in Jacksonville, FL!!! Delicious, fresh, and served to perfection! All the plates we ordered were made to order and they have a great variety of selections a little bit for everyone. The prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you receive. Service was friendly, you order at the register first and seat yourself and pay once you finish eating. The ambience is clean and casual. They even sell certain Turkish desserts I have never seen before. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try some fire Mediterranean food! (:

The food was so fresh the service was good and the ambiance was great for lunch. My food was hot and fresh and served on a real plate as I ate my lunch inside.

Flavors are perfect. It's exactly what you would want and expect for a sit down lunch Halal spot. Not many in Jax so your options are limited. I would say it's authentic. The tabouli was fresh and zesty. Hummus was nice with the fresh warmed pita. I particularly liked the falafel wrap. It's not cheap. If you're thinking NYC halal prices you would be wrong. Lunch for two with two sodas was $42 not including tip. The digital menu at the counter doesn't have prices so you're not exactly sure how much you have spent until after. It's got classic vibes with booths and older tables with some mis-matching chairs. I like that and don't want it fancy and new. This is old Jax.

Came into this place for a working lunch, and am so glad I did! The indoor ambiance is more inviting than what the outside presents to the eye. They have so many imported goodies for all tastes, medjool dates, baklava in two different varieties, and a nice selection of nut and fruit filled cookies. I was able to get my food pretty quickly and ate peacefully while enjoying the radio selection they play over the television. I would highly recommend this place to smaller parties seeking some halal goodies and warm service, the workers are patient and hospitable. The mixed grill plate was decent, however, I did not favor the flavors of either sides I ordered. The hummus was fairly bland and the style of the grape leaves was a surprise. If you enjoy heavier vinegar tastes, I recommend the grape leaves to you. Give this place a try! I mean who doesn't fancy meat and rice?!

Really enjoyed our lunch here. I assume the owner was the one working the counter and helping the guests. He was friendly and helpful. There are many options and ultimately, we ordered some stuffed grape leaves, and appetizer combo, and a meat combo. This order could have easily fed 3-4 people, but we wanted to try a number of items and didn't mind leaving with leftovers. The grape leaves were served cold, which I didn't expect. An order came with a ton - I think 8 in total. I'd say good not great. The appetizer combo came with hummus, babaganoush, tabouleh, and the house salad (along with a side of pita). The platter was great. The tabouleh was especially fresh and tasty. The meat combo came with an assortment of their chicken and beef options, including some on skewers and some meat that was seasoned and shredded. It all tasted great to me, especially the shredded meats which must have had cinnamon in the seasoning. The restaurant itself, although clean, is a little old and weird inside. I wouldn't let that scare you off. The food is sold.

Yesterday was my first visit to this place and it was amazing! It's a small place that doesn't really catch your eye from the outside, but I saw the great reviews online and decided to give it a try since you can't find a lot of Mediterranean spots in this area. We walked in and ordered at the counter- the meals are numbered with photos on a large board to help you choose. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap, Chicken Shishkabobs with rice, and a side of the stuffed grape leaves. The food was brought out to our table within 10 minutes and was plated really nicely. Everything was really fresh and cooked to perfection, from the chicken to the rice. The seasoning was on point- not too heavy and perfect amount of spice on everything. The grape leaves were awesome too- had never had those before and was not disappointed. SO good and we will definitely be back!

Chicken Shawarma On Rice with tabouli and hummus. Rich and flavorful. Almost missed the pita under paper wrap on the red tray.

Delicious food and great portions. A bit too much spice, but that aside amazing. Ordered it from Uber Eats a few times and then visited in person. Small space, but clean and quiet. Lady who took the order was very outgoing. They had a a stackload of Mediterranean candies on display and they bring you the food. Will definitely come back whenever I come to the Orange Park area.

We love trying new food spots especially if it's experiencing different cultures food. The staff was very pleasant and informative. We inquired about tzatziki but they don't use milk products ( tzatziki has yogurt) but they use tahini more of a seed based sauce. They informed us they are Kurdish and want to keep the food authentic which we appreciate. The chicken shawarma on rice was great and the hummus and Pita were sooo fresh. Also the baklava -pistachio and walnut both were fresh and crispy. We also tried the Dunya fries , they're covered in seasoning and tahini - probably would skip those next time bc they were a little dry and I don't prefer tahini. I would have enjoyed them more if they offered ketchup . We also ordered another dessert but took it to go (not pictured) all awesome. We have passed the place hundreds of times and never stopped because of the location. It's just not the best area , Blanding in Orange park ( if you know you know ). The place was clean and had nice upbeat music playing. It was definitely more of a casual storefront style - think Chinese restaurant that you pick up your order but bigger and comfier seats.

I came in as a solo diner and was seated quickly, although my table was kind of nestled underneath the high outdoor bar. That meant hearing some of the bartender's phone conversations. I ordered a glass of Lebanese rose wine and liked it! But my meal wasn't impressive. The vegetarian grape leaves (one of my favorite dishes, generally) were OK, although several were split up on my plate (but hey, it happens). I thought the flavor was underwhelming; there was a lot of acidity but nothing else. I also ordered a side of "extra crispy seasoned potato fries" which just turned out to be generic crinkle fries with salt. Definitely wouldn't order those again. I thought maybe there would be some sort of twist on them? The big frustration was service. The restaurant was far from full when I went -- I counted maybe a dozen seated tables. After I finished eating, I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get my waiter's attention to get my check even as I sat with my plates pushed away, glasses empty, and credit card out. He walked by multiple times to wait on and check with other tables, and I saw at least five other employees working in the front of house and walking by me. Even when I got his attention for the check, it took quite a few minutes to get it, despite him walking out to other tables. (Although I will note he seemed busier than the other employees!) My check before tip came to $24, which felt on the pricey side for what I got. I hope I'm wrong, but I got the vibe that I wasn't exactly their favorite type of guest -- a solo diner who wasn't smoking hookah. (I noticed another solo non-smoker go similarly unnoticed by staff.) Maybe they heavily favor regulars, too. But they weren't at capacity, and I'd have gotten out quicker had I been able to pay. Maybe it was just an off night. But it's just not a great feeling to be ignored.

We started with Hummus and Tata Chips, which was crispy pita chips with a standard (but delicious) hummus. The Tata chips had great flavor, like Stacy's Pita Chips but better! The firat course was White Bean Fahsulia, which was a rich and hearty bean stew that packed huge flavor! Second course was Falafel with Tahini Sauce. These were a nice little bite between dishes. The center of the falafel was light, fluffy, and flavorful! Course 3 was Masaka-Ah served with Timan Asfur Rice. While this dish was good, it was my least favorite of the evening. I ate half of the stew and passed the rest off to my husband, who loved it! Course 4 brought us Dolma's served with Roasted Vegetables. I LOVE stuffed grape leaves and these were seriously on point! Tart and tangy up front followed by a whole lot of savory. Course 5, my favorite, was the Spicy Curry Chicken served with White Rice. This was the dish that made me fall in love with Fast Eddy's food and had me coming back for more. I took a couple bites and got a to-go container to enjoy this later at home. Finally, we reached the end of our dinner and Course 6, dessert, came out. Freshly made, sweet and decadent, traditional baklava. Filo dough, crushed walnuts, butter, and honey. This just melted away once it hit my mouth. I don't eat a whole lot of sweets but this had me closing my eyes and enjoying every bite. Every time I've visited Fast Eddy's the staff has been amazing, friendly, and hospitable. My friend and I decided to go one weekend and we were not disappointed! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and checked up on us often. We were blown away by all the menu options as they had alot to choose from but we decided on the following: Cheese and Zaatar Manousheh- 10/10 : It's a pizza that is topped with mozzarella cheese and zaatar with olive oil, baked in a wood fired oven. Let me tell you, this was one of the best pizzas that I've ever had in my life. It was cheesy, flavorful, and the crust was crispy and flaky. I'm still dreaming about this pizza till this day. The flavors were all delightful and this pizza was hearty and flavorful. My friend's son doesn't like pizza and we were not surprised when he ate almost a full slice of this, because it's so dang on delicious. I loved that it came with a side of pickles because the acidity helps cut down the richness of the pizza. Lamb philly with pita on the side - 10/10: My friend has dietary restrictions and the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate us. We had the lamb philly with the buns (in this case we chose pita bread) on the side. The onions were on the side with the condiments (mayo and ketchup) while the meat had a mixture of bell peppers and onion in it as well, The meat was tender, flavorful, and I don't know what spices they put in it, but it was beyond delicious. I created a pita sandwich and each bite was juicy and decadent. I would absolutely get this sandwich again. Seasoned french fries - 9/10: hot, crispy, fried to perfection with a sprinkle of seasoning salt. The seasoning salt was a little salty but addicting at the same time. I am a french fry snob and these are probably in my top three when it comes to the french fries I've tried so far in Jax. Overall, we will definitely come back again! Staff was wonderful, food was served quickly and super fresh, and we felt extremely welcomed. I appreciate the staff being so accommodating and constantly checking up on us and making sure we enjoyed our food.
