I lost a Mazda key fob and had a duplicate fob programmed by a company working at Costco. To my surprise, when we opened my fob so we could copy the Emergency key, the key was missing altogether. So they couldn't cut a new key until I obtained a code from a Mazda dealer. I asked if they would cut a second key for my existing fob and they said yes, but I would have to purchase a blank Emergency key. The first locksmith I called didn't have them, but referred me to Dup-a-Key. I purchased a blank from them and returned to the company at Costco. When they cut the key using the dealers code, it didn't work. They told me I probably have the wrong code. But he admitted they have a lot of problems cutting Mazda keys. So he gave me a fresh blank one and I left. I contacted the dealer again and my code was correct. So I returned to Dup-a-Key, where they cut emergency keys with no issues, using the same code. They only charged $20 to cut both keys. It pays to use a real locksmith shop! read more

This company does not respect its customers' time. A customer called earlier in the day to confirm that the business would be open that evening. The customer arrived at the confirmed time, only to find a sign indicating that the business would be back latter. It was later discovered that the location had actually closed and closed more than two hours earlier then the close time. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. If a customer takes the time to call and confirm your hours, the information provided should be accurate. Customers should not be left making a trip based on incorrect information, only to arrive and find the business closed. This experience shows a lack of consideration for customers' time and plans. read more

They responded immediately and had their excellent locksmith, Orion, out to my house within the hour for a door that could not be locked with the deadbolt. Orion was young, but obviously very experienced as he quickly assessed the situation and presented me with a couple of options for the repair.
