This is the only place I found that is a physical locksmith store. They were willing to copy self provided key blanks - ie Yale key blanks for my Nest x Yale lock. They only charged $3 to copy a key - but I did provide the Yale key blanks. Very nice store clerks also. I went to Home Depot, then Busy Bees Locksmith and then called 3 places. This place was the only one that could made copies of a keys for me that were worn out. Home Depot didn't even try because their computer couldn't find the pattern. Busy Bee tried twice and they key failed. This place just rocked. I came back 2 days later and made another "difficult to make" key. These people were quick, courteous, and had reasonable prices. They are a little hidden off the main road but they are worth the trip if u have a difficult key to make. read more

BUT, Jim was able to fix it readily and for a very fair price. He was very knowledgeable and was able to fix it without replacing the entire door ( a very real possibility). We have a multi-unit and multiple sets of keys that correspond to different doors (we want to be able to provide access for our nanny but don't want to re-key all the locks if she leaves). Could not have been more pleased with the service Carlos provided today. Sheriff eviction lockout with an uncooperative tenant inside. Carlos calmly drilled the lock with the tenant directly on the other side of the door. Fortunately the tenant left without incident, but this is as dangerous as it gets for someone in this profession. Carlos has nerves of steel. Friendly and professional.
