I was really impressed with DCM. Like others have mentioned, it's not a "museum" but more like a learning/play center. It can certainly be enjoyed at many levels from toddler to school age. At quick glance, you might just see playrooms but there is a method to all the playfulness. Math, Science, Art, Music--constructive play for all the senses, that's a win-win in my parenting handbook. Of the 2 floors we visited, my toddler's favorite spots included the wind room (including the air tunnel), the train room, the balls and ramps, and the life size Lite Brite. (I wanted to play with the Lite Brite myself!) There is also a water room, a music room, arts/crafts, wood craft room. They hold fun classes (check the schedule online) and folks can host parties here as well. I'm sure this place gets crowded during school vacation time or weekends, but I found it very manageable on a late Monday morning. Not too much craziness and enough parental supervision to ensure my little one wouldn't get bowled over by an older child running around. I did not get a chance to visit the cafe in-house, but it's nice that they offer it for folks that need a quick snack. Why not 5 stars? some areas look a bit worn out (tears on the cushions of the see-saw) and areas where the carpet is worn. I also think the daily admission fee is a little steep, but the family membership is certainly reasonable if you plan to visit often. As of today, if you purchase the family membership, you also get free admission to other children's museums in Illinois (like Kohl's in Glenview) and other states. But that will change as of April 2013. At that time, the family membership at DCM will get you half price admission at other children's museums (check the fine print) I like this place enough to know we will keep visiting. When my son is awarded the Nobel prize for Physics, I'm sure he'll remember his love of science started at DCM. (I kid, I kid, a mom always hopes for the best, right?) read more

I went here ages ago, as a child, and recently came with my friend and her son. In those many years, my feelings haven't changed much. I royally disliked this place as a kid. One of my summer camp programs would take us here once a summer on the field trip days and I always hated it. I remember asking to skip those days and stay back... which would have been fine except that my request got other kids requesting to stay back and at that point, I believe they considered us to be starting some sort of anti-camp revolution and therefore made us all suffer through it. It appears that my friend's son, who is currently 6, was totally over this place too. He was SO not about hanging around "babies with drool" and touching different "wacky" shaped things. After we left, my friend and I discussed how it may have been more enjoyable if we didn't know of plenty of other fun places nearby to spend the day. We decided that next time we'd do ourselves and her son a favor and go to the zoo. It inspires higher brain function, your kid will learn a lot more, and it's exponentially more fun for everyone. read more

Love! When I'm making my respite care rounds, I take my kiddos with disabilities here all the time. It has such incredible sensory activities and the kids love it. Favorite common activities between all my kids- wind tunnel, water table, bubble play area, glow sticks, and the shadow photo chamber. Once I was there during the typical public school spring break. It was INSANE! No spots and my girl's handicap placard was expired so I left it at home that day. I explained the situation to the museum- they found me someplace to park that was safe for me and my girl. Then, the police came and booted my spot. Guess what? Both the police and the museum worked together (without even so much as a request) to find me another spot to park in! And while I moved the car, an employee stayed with my girl because of the insane amount of work involved to get her in and out of the car. I love you children's museum! The coolest part? The museum actually has a policy where caregivers of children with disabilities can get in free. Unfortunately I haven't been able to utilize because there must be another guardian there. For example, if you are a mother of 5 and your eldest child has Down syndrome, you would be able to bring a caregiver specifically for the eldest child for free. I love it! They also have PECS books available by request- talk about PREPARED! Love, love, love it! read more

This is a great local place for kids. It can be pricey, so I went for the membership. It pays for itself in a couple of visits. You also get to preview new exhibits early and discounts on birthday parties too. I had a birthday for my 2 year old here. There were kids from 2-9yrs and they all had a great time. The adults had fun too, especially in the wind tunnel. Some of the favorite exhibits for my little ones are the trains, the bubbles, and of course the water table. Beware the bubble area: it is so much fun but many have been known to slip here. Every area is staffed appropriately. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, helpful, and patient. They transition between cleaning up messes, explaining how to enjoy exhibits, and sharing interesting facts with grace. As for the Smart Cafe, it's your typical museum eatery. The foods not awful. They have an ok selection. It's fine for a quick snack between adventures. read more

Great place, but I feel a bit overpriced at $11 a person. You go there once with the family and it quickly adds up. The exhibits are great though for keeping a toddler busy well over 2 hours if your tot doesn't knock out first. My tot loved the bubbles and water exhibit as well as the music part of the museum. Actually, he really also liked the light refraction and creativity exhibits. The cafe had lots of kid friendly options but my main complaint has to do with their soup. I paid $4 bucks for chicken noodle soup....but all it had in it was broth and 1 measly carrot. When I brought this up to the cashier, he explained that their chicken noodle soup doesn't have very many noodles...to which I dragged my spoon thru to show him mine had NONE. He resisted a bit, but gave in and exchanged it for chili instead. read more

One day last month, we had an hour to kill while in the area so we took Jack over to the Children's Museum. At first it was a little overwhelming for him to jump in but finally his attention was focused on the water area. I noticed that while there are a lot of interesting things to do, there aren't many instructions posted. So parents are kind of forced to figure it out for the kids. And some things, embarrassingly enough, I couldn't figure out either. I kind of felt like maybe a piece or element was missing?? Like the damn manual! Otherwise, I'd have to say this children's museum is a great alternative an afternoon of mindless video games. I am appreciative of the venue's educational twist on some fun activities for the kiddos. read more

As a nerd, I take some issue with calling this a "museum". This is not a place to learn, it's a place to play. I will concede that playing is an important way for children to learn, but let's all be honest here, this is not a museum. Putting my nerdiness aside (as if I can really put it aside, right?), the Dupage Children's "Museum" is a good place to entertain the kids all day. They have three levels of fun and entertainment, loads of different activities, and everything is well kept up. So if it's such a great place to bring the rug-rats then why am I only giving them 3 stars? Well, for one, I dislike the misuse of the word "museum". Two, not enough staff to keep the kids and place in line. Three, I like to have more than three things when I make a list. Four, more spots for the younger kids would be nice. There were more than a few older kids running around and, as kids will do, not being all that aware of the little ones around them. Where are the parents and staff? No clue, but if there was an area as fun as the others that I could take an unsteady toddler to without fear of her getting elbowed in the face by a crazed 6 year old, that'd be great. This is a good place to go with the little ones if you're looking for an indoor activity that'll keep them entertained for a while. Not the best option I've seen in the Chicagoland area, but it's ok. I totally dig this place!! I took my daughter a week ago and she loved it. She is 3 weeks shy of 1 year but there were areas just for her. There are some moms who chat with others and let their kids kind of wander ( 2 girls came over and trounced my daughter for her toy) But overall I love it. Neat gift store with neat wood toys and learning toys. We loved the wind tunnel, and the goggles. They have a downstairs eating area but don't serve food. We bought a year family membership that day!! read more

I took my son here for his second birthday in March and we both had a BLAST! There was so much for him to do and he loved that he was allowed to touch and play with everything. We were there for a good 3 hours and never got bored. I don't think it would be as much fun with an older kid though. Everything in the museum seem geared for kids between two and five. I think older kids would get bored pretty quickly. read more

Great museum. I got here this morning at 9:45am and it wasn't crowded. My son was able to experience most of the exhibits and do some arts & crafts. There are so many activities going on that a parent can easily just sit down and chill. I am hoping that the children's museum they are building in my neck of the woods is just as good. They have sections for playing with light (catching your own shadow); using shapes to create puzzles between plexi glass; drawing in the dark; musical instruments; watching balls move up and down through this engineering device and then you can create your own; water play that includes surrounding yourself in a big bubble, wind section with a wind tunnel; and so much more. My son did NOT want to leave. read more

I love the concept of children's' museums. My daughter and I love to explore new ones everywhere we go. We visited this specific location on a Saturday and it was not packed at all! Plenty of free parking. I love that it had enough children for her to interact with and still have an opportunity to play with the things that interested her. Two story museum and has many different rooms and themes. Really, there's something for everyone. I never made it down to the basement but from the map it showed a cafeteria. We will have to check that out at a later date. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it was more on the used side. Some of the toys and objects were very worn down. Children can still play with them but I also feel that they are easily replaceable. Also, the family bathroom was pretty dirty. Like clean enough to change my baby's diaper in (after laying down several layers of paper towels). I only used one of their bathrooms so I can't say much else. The place is big enough that you won't have time to explore every area in one day. Totally worth the drive out here because the experience your child will have is so worth it. read more

Bought a yearly membership here because with a family of 4, costs add up quickly at $11 per person (1 year and up). I definitely think it was worth it with all the fun you could have here. We stayed for about 3 hours and got through pretty much the whole museum, hitting the waterworks twice since my kids couldn't get away. I had to rip my youngest child away from the water and even then he had a tantrum. The lights, music, and building section was fun; the kids enjoyed playing music and hitting whatever they could. The trains on the second floor was also a hit. If you come here just 3 times a year, your membership pays itself and it makes for a really great rainy day activity. Once my children are older I'll have to let them go at it in the wood work station, that was pretty cool except my kids would break a finger in there at their age. I saw some real creative things that children were making and it really was very impressive. We'll see you again Dupage Children's Museum., till next time. read more

I have been meaning to write a review for DCM for a while, because after visiting and reviewing two other nearby children's museums, I wanted to add this to the list. Overall, we really like it, and are glad it's pretty close. Very nice inside, and enough to occupy the kids for a long, long time. The layout inside is a little confusing (to me, at least), and the parking can be tricky if it's busy, because there's very limited space. The first time we came we had to park about two blocks away and walk. Which isn't a big deal if you're by yourself, but with kids in tow, that's not easy. Other than that, it's always fun, and maybe a bit pricey, but not bad enough to keep us away. We always enjoy our visits here. read more

Great place for kids of all ages! They have designated areas for babies under 2, and special hours for families that have children with special needs. It gets quite busy at certain hours and on rainy days, so the parking lot does fill up. I really love the variety of it all. Also, there's a nursing room upstairs for the younger babes! It used to be filled with giant pillows and whatnot but as of today, they had a newish looking glider chair. :) FYI, it's part of the Blue Star Family, so it's free for not just military personnel but also their families, up to 5 people, for the summer (Memorial Day - Labor Day). After the summer, it's only free for the active duty military personnel. read more

What a perfect place to bring your children!! We brought our grandchild here while visiting for Christmas. I personally would have liked to come when it wasn't so busy but all the kids were off school on their Christmas breaks. There were stations set up everywhere with different learning experiences for the children. They had a huge bubble room, where the kids can learn to make different sized bubbles. There was a cool wind tunnel but Cailyn was afraid to go in it. We had a great time there and I highly recommend this museum to all! If you haven't been here- bring your little ones! We have had an annual membership for the past three years. This is a great place to take the young kids on a cold winter's day or stormy summer day. We went here yesterday for the 'Countdown to Noon' New Year's celebration for the kiddies. There were a lot of great free activities including decorating cookies, crafts (making rocket packs) and a musical group. The whole event was very well attended judging from the packed parking lot. My girls really stuck to the old standbys - the water activities, playing in the overhead tubes and constructing wooden crafts. What can I say? The kids love the place. read more

Awesome, educational spot- and not just fun for the kids! We've been members here since my now 7-year-old was an 8 month old. With 2 kids it's not always easy to find things they both want to do together, luckily DCM fits the bill. This is a great spot to come on cold winter days, rainy days, anytime you need something to keep your kids entertained. If you live even remotely close, the membership option is the way to go. I think it's like $10/person every visit, but an annual membership will run you $100. My kids like to come at least once a month, so it works out as a great value. If you get the "explorer" membership option you can also visit any other childrens museum in the country. We've been to countless other museums including the one on Navy Pier, one in Iowa, one in Massachusetts, and the one in Denver, CO. There's also a lunchroom down in the basement- you can pack a sack lunch and make a day out of your visit. Staff members are super nice and helpful, too. This place is a real gem, and a must-see if you have kids. read more

Very disappointing!! Areas were messy with no direction or explanation. Staff members stood around, didn't interact or teach the children nor did they clean up. Toys and materials for one area were found in other areas. Bathroom smelled of urine and wasn't clean. Not enough actives for children 2 and under. Way over priced!!! As members of the Kohl children's museum in Glenview we get reciprocal membership to over 100 other children's museums nationwide. Amazingly enough, a few of the other museums on the list are also in the Chicagoland area. I have been wanting to take my son here since we joined the Kohl 2.5 years ago. We finally made it during my son's spring break. Although the Kohl is more extensive, it was nice to have the change of pace. DPCM had enough different exhibits from the Kohl to keep my son happy. The simulated wind exhibit and the upstairs one with the car to pretend to drive were his favorites. I was very impressed with the woodworking exhibit. With adult supervision the kids are able to make and create their own projects and take them home. We loved it and hope to be back sometime. My only suggestion would be in place of the vending machines on the bottom floor would be to put a restaurant or a least a small coffee bar. read more

I am in town from Los Angeles and wow! I wish we had a kids museum like this by us. I would buy a membership! My almost 4 year old and 1 year old were completely entertained for hours. We could have stayed longer but my little guy needed to nap. I loved the various areas for kids under 2. My 1 year old was able to participate happily in most of the exhibits and my older son had to be dragged out! The water room was awesome. I recommend bringing an extra set of clothes. I loved playing with the exhibits too! This is a must do! I would say this place is most appropriate for kids 6-7 and younger. We had lunch in the Smart Cafe. Food was good and reasonably priced...that being said I do live in LA and so prices here always amaze me ha! We will be back the next time we are in town! read more

Very noisy, a lot of fun, the black hole of Calcutta for diseases though. My son and I are sensitive to loud noise so this is a tough one to visit for long, though downstairs is usually quieter. The keep changing exhibits, but the tried and true like WaterWorld and the Air Tunnel are regular fixtures. read more

My 21-month-old daughter had an absolute blast here and when the three of us (my daughter, my wife, and me) left we were all completely exhausted. Her from running around from place-to-place having an awesome time, and us from running around behind her, loving every moment of watching her have an awesome time. It was a real blast and we'll be paying for a membership once we move into the area. There are things that are perfect for her now at 21 months old, things that will be good a little while from now when she's a little older/taller/more able to take instructions, and things that will be great when she's a year or two or several older. It is really the kind of place that grows with the child and there are things to learn about/play with/experience for all ages. read more

Considering the price, the museum is underwhelming considering the other children's museums we have been to in the country. It's a glorified play space for toddlers. There are no placards explaining the activities and how they correlate to the real world nor are the typical activities executed as well as other museums. For example, the air tubes with scarves have flaps that cover the holes where the children place items that fly though. This flap is difficult to maneuver around for little hands and is unnecessary for the activity to work. Usually kids are so excited by this area. This one was thumbs down. Another example is the low quality smocks offered at the water activity. I've seen much better smocks that are actually waterproof at other children's museums. read more

This year we got a membership for our family. As an almost-two-year-old, she doesn't really want to do anything but run around, and this "museum" is the perfect place for it! It's not so much a museum, but an exploratory lab for kids. My daughter loves the water area, where kids can play with three giant bubble tables, and two water tables. They offer smocks to prevent the majority of the soaking (which is much appreciated!). She also loves the music room where you can give kids drum mallets and they go crazy making sounds. There's so much to do here for little kids, they can run around and touch and feel so many different things. They do market this place to kids up to age 12, however I think it's definitely more for a 2-4 year old crowd. I can see how some older kids could get extremely bored here very quickly! read more

We had a great time visiting this museum! My three year old and one year old loved all three floors:) I was very impressed with the variety of activities offered. Our favorites: the water area (you do get SOAKED- bring an extra set of clothes), the wooden workshop, the large vacuum machine that sucks yarn balls and shoots them out in multiple directions, the music area, legos, blocks, light-up tables with magnets/tubes/various shapes, art/STEM lab, simple machines and tubing area-- so much fun!!!! I was impressed with the cafe and the many items offered. I do think the food items are a little pricey, but the facilities and allergy-free items are plentiful. I think the entrance fees are a little pricey as well. I don't understand why adults and kids are the same price? However, we had a great time! The facilities are clean and staff members are friendly and engaging. read more

Our ACM membership is expiring in April, so we've been trying to visit all our area museums before month-end. We love the CCM and Kohl Children's Museum, but haven't been to DCM since summer of 2012, so we were back this weekend. Our kids are 3 (boy) and 5 (girl) and they still have a great time, but I can tell that in a year or so, my daughter might start to lose interest as most of the exhibits/centers are geared toward the younger pre-k/kindergarten crowd. There are also dedicated areas on each floor for the baby/toddler crowd. Highlights for our kids at DCM are the tools workshop which is a hands-on exhibit where kids have parent-supervised access to real tools and wood (nails, saws, hammers, etc.!). Both our kids had a great time building a miniature house and a car...and each of them loved banging down the nails (or mom/dad's fingers..accidentally) into the wood. They also love the wind-tunnel, and the giant bubble-maker (though it was down for maintenance this weekend). We spent most of our time on the 2nd floor in these exhibits, butthey did also like the trains & building blocks upstairs and the light and music exhibits on the other side of the 2nd floor. The last time we were here, they had a snack and vending area on the basement level, which has since become a nice little café. We had some juice and cookies before we left and menu items are decently priced. There were several bday parties going on this day and a lot of the rooms downstairs were in use for those. Looked like all the kids were having a great time this day, whether celebrating a bday or not. Though, again, crowd seems to be 5-6 and under. I like the facility itself as well...very colorful from the outside. Our kids were excited from the minute they spotted the huge DCM sign out front from the car, and the inside is well-light with natural light from the windows. Very colorful and kid-friendly décor. Staff is very friendly and always nearby if you need something (or to sanitize!). And outside, they have a train structure which is hands-on as well (turning a wheel below the structure will turn the wheels on the train up top). Also, I usually don't pay attention to admission since we have a membership, but we've been debating whether or not to renew since the ACM no longer offers full admission to all museums (i.e., the ACM membership will only get us 50% off at CCM from here on). We took note this weekend, and our family of 4 would have cost almost $40. I'm not sure if DCM would be our first choice at that admission rate and we'd likely head over to CCM or Kohl...but regardless, we still have a good time at DCM. We did spend 2.5 hours here Saturday, though, which is definitely worth the price. read more

New look and new stuff! I haven't been here since they renovated due to an exploded pipe (early in the year). They had a temporary one at the fox valley mall but was small and I don't think I lasted more then an hour there with the kids. We came here in the evening on a Friday and it was pretty empty. I was able to walk (run) through almost all the exhibits. We didn't have much time here but I wanted to check it out bc my membership was expiring and I wanted to make sure it would be worth renewing, and that's a definite YES! The kids (ages; 2,3 &4). I would say ages infant to maybe 12 would be fun. They have tons of little "stations" to explore, build, climb, etc. it was a bit of a over haul for the kids I was with bc we haven't been there in so long and they wanted to play with everything. I would say you could spend hours here. They also have a little cafe, which they try and gear towards more healthier options. You can also bring your own lunches (which we usually do). If your a member you get a discount (I think 10%) off the food. Overall everything was very clean and they have volunteers and workers playing-cleaning up the toys. Everyone seems very friendly. It's a very fun and very colorful place. I would recommend getting a membership as the price for admission seems a little pricey, unless your going for one time all day. We only had an hour here but worth the drive and we will be back soon, and I'll be renewing my membership! Thanks children's museum! read more

My son and I are members and just had his first birthday party here! Staff has always been great on our normal visits. I usually have him "warm up" in the Young Explorers areas before we venture into the rest of the museum. We finish our visits on the second floor as it tends to be less busy and quieter so it helps him unwind a bit. As for the birthday party experience- I couldn't be happier! From start to finish, staff was helpful and answered all my questions. The day of the party was very organized they had bins with wheels and the birthday kid's names ready to go. We used these to bring in decorations and misc supplies and at the end to wheel everything (including presents) out in one trip. There was a party toolkit ready to go, bubble machine (we didn't get a chance to use it), and a system on the wall where I was able to attach my iPhone and play music from. The pizzas from Branconi's were delicious (lots of compliments) and so were the sandwiches. I wish I had known the sandwiches didn't come partially assembled. I thought they would and guests would just have to put condiments on but they also had to open the buns and put the meat in. Sounds silly but it held up the food line. It doesn't ding the rating- I just wish I would've known (probably would've just stuck with pizza). Staff was great- all the guests got checked in and their bracelets without me having to tell them how to do it. Cassidy kept checking on us and making sure we were ok. Birthday boy got a cute tshirt. I wish we could have had the party room a little longer. I felt a little rushed and under the gun to do food, cake, and presents in an hour and a half. A smaller, predominantly older kid party probably would've been fine. My family is used to hanging out and taking their time and the kids were smaller so meals just naturally take longer. Also- a little bummed the wind tunnel and electricity area was under construction. But the birthday boy didn't notice- he could spend all day at the water tables! read more

This place is AMAZING. I wish we had discovered it earlier during our trip home for the holidays. We certainly would have been back several time. My two year absolutely loved this place. He was so excited he couldn't help but *run* from activity to activity. He favorite was the water table/soap bubble area. I think that hooked for nearly an hour (impressive feat for a toddler mind!). Mine was the workshop area, where you can hammer & nail things together. He & I created a primitive wood car. He actually still plays with it with his trains. The pictures online don't do this place justice. It's a pretty big play/learn space for children of most ages! Pros -Multi levels of different exhibits for gross motor, sensory, etc -Friendly, helpful staff that will engage children and parents -Large, clean open floorplan for kids to explore. -Nice toddler area for even the littlest ones to crawl around and explore Cons It's in Naperville. A little bit of a drive if you're from the city or not from the area, but worth the visit. read more

This is a very cool museum, if you want to call it that. It's more like a gigantic indoor sensory playground and my kids (ages 9, 8, 4 and 8 months) are in love with it. FAVORITES (according to the kids): * The freeze your shadow booth. A flash bulb freezes your shadow on the wall. A place for crazy jumps and twists. * Giant light brites in the black light area. * The build it neighborhood. Kids get to do some real sawing and hammering and take their finished product home. Adult supervision required. * Air works, namely the giant wind tunnel with ribbons and pinwheels and fun stuff to play with in the wind * Bubble play. Lots of bubble wands and super soapy solution to make giant bubbles with. * Little Explorers. A play area just for crawlers and toddlers. Lost of fun items in there to intrigue the tiny crowd. In addition, I like that parking is free and there is a lot of it. I like that there is so much to do and explore (2 floors of stuff) that you could bring your kids here a whole lot and they would never get bored. I think it's definitely worth a membership. I do wish that the different areas were more enclosed perhaps? It seems really chaotic with kids just zipping through the giant weaving floor plan. Open enough for chaos but not open enough to see where they are at all times. Very easy to lose sight of the kiddos when something else catches their attention and they go running off in pursuit. Luckily the baby areas are enclosed so you don't have big kids running over your little ones. That's my only complaint though. This place is fabulous! read more

We are new fans of the DuPage Children's Museum. We had a great time and even enjoyed a noteworthy lunch (see separate review of the S.M.A.R.T. Cafe in their lower level). Unlike what is shown on the outdated photo of the entrance sign and what is mentioned in some of the reviews, the admission is $11 a person (1-59) and $10 (60+). Budget tip: We got a coupon at the Brookfield Public Library for one free admission when you buy an admission (it expired August 31, 2013). This true BOGO saved us $11. Parking is free in their lot. Annual memberships start at $90/child or $110/family--we would buy this if we lived closer or planned to go regularly. Be sure to call or check their website for hours. They are closed for annual maintenance around Labor Day so it would be a bummer a la Walley World from "National Lampoon's Vacation" if they were closed when you arrived. Walley World! Also, they are open one night a month now. There are so many cool interactive exhibits at this museum. This place is definitely toddler-friendly and baby-friendly. My curious little guy loved racing around and seeing and playing with everything. His favorite exhibit would probably be the percussion room of drums and strikers. We also loved taking photos of our shadows, playing with puzzles, Awesome Electricity, and so much more. There is far too much to mention! Even the details are great. The stairs are numbered on the staircases between the museum floors. We usually count stairs so this was extra cool! For the people asking if this is a museum or not, it is. Children's museums are recognized by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the American Association of Museums (AAM), and the International Council of Museums (ICOM) as museums. The Institute for Museum and Library Services' (IMLS) definition of a museum: a public or private nonprofit institution which is organized on a permanent basis for essentially education or aesthetic purposes and which, using a professional staff, owns or uses tangible objects, either animate or inanimate, cares for these objects, and exhibits them to the general public on a regular basis. According to the Association of Children's Museums (ACM), children's museums emphasize the educational role of museums, the visitor (children and families), and the contextual interactive exhibit strategies over the more traditional museum focus on the preservation/ research role, permanent collections, and non-tactile display or representation. The ACM also says that 82% of children's museums were founded since 1976. So maybe this is why people are so resistant to give this place the respect it deserves by not putting museum in quotes?!? read more

So cute! We were members here for a year, and boy did we use it! If you plan to go on more than a few occasions, become a member it will pay for itself quick. They just revamped the place and we were very pleased with all the new attractions. Great place for kids to socialize, there is always something going on! read more

I was really impressed by how well taken care of this place is. All of the toys are in the area they belong (even puzzles have all their pieces!) They have staff in every area making sure things stay where they belong and are taken care of. The water/bubbles exhibit is great. We brought our 19 more old here and there was plenty for her to do- we were there probably 2 -3 hours and could have spent even more time. My only major concern was the stairway was wide open to anyonr- the door to the stairway was the closed and anyone could just walk to the stairs. With seemingly hundreds of toddlers running around, this is a glaring safety and liability issue in my opinion. The should just close those doors and it'd be fine. read more
