    A toddler bike
    Tatiana L.

I am a fan of supporting small businesses. Where they fail us is in clear transparency and communication. I dropped off my toddlers bike which was a hand me down in overall good shape. It required air and seat adjustment. It was a bit dusty and the training wheels had some small rocks in them. Overall is simple job and although I felt like 48.00 was a lot for this service, I left it at this shop. I picked up today and they added air and tightened it up as requested but did even bother passing a rag to wipe it down. I was told that's an additional charge and it doesn't need it. Now again, this is my first time at the bike shop and was considering to buy two adult bikes but they failed me at the first transaction. They could have been clear from the start and break down the cost and what it includes, but they also could have gone above and beyond to stand out. I wish them well, but I won't be recommending or purchasing anything from here again. I rather drive 17 miles to bird road and pay the same or a bit less and receive better service. Sadly disappointed.

I enjoyed my visit but was not into the Townie that they were pushing on me and everybody else who seem to walk in the store. They didn't have really nice colors. I wasn't going for the icy mint I took note of how close it was to home and decided when I found a bicycle I like to have it assembled at the shop. That was a huge mistake! they did a horrible job. They did not adjust it well. They called my new bike a copy of the Townie and insulted the seat. Then they tried to upsell me on one of their seats. They were paid by the company that sold me the bike. I don't see what was so wrong about that now they have lost a customer for good. I don't appreciate being patronized about the abrasion on my bike.

The best in Broward!!! I've dealt with bike dealers and shops my entire life. I was afraid to approach this shop since I didn't buy these bikes from them... I was completely wrong!!! I've never been treated better anywhere. Eric said hello as soon as I walked in with random bikes and I explained the issues. (Both bikes were producing a clicking noise from the sprocket) Unfortunately, I ordered 2 "Framed" bicycles that were prebuilt online. (Not from Durango Bikes) Eric asked if he could ride one of the bicycles. I said yes, he immediately knew what was wrong. Both sprockets on the bikes were not put together correct. . Thankfully Eric diagnosed the problem and was able to fix these issues before my children caused a lot of damage to the bikes. Luckily I found this shop before I bought my mountain bike. Durango has the best prices in the area and cannot be beat! I'm looking forward to purchasing a custom mountain bike from Durango Bikes to ride with my children soon! I would highly recommend going to Durango Bikes and ask for Eric! If I could give 6 starts I would. Eric needs a raise and the staff and owner are absolutely amazing! If you use this shop, you'll never use another one.

When my son saw his bike today he exclaimed, "Oh my gosh, it looks great Mami. I really, really love it! I need to go ride my bike now! Thanks, Erik!" I purchased my son's Trek during the pandemic second hand from a private seller. Then one day the front tire ripped. Call in Durango Bikes and Erik to the rescue. They replaced the tire, did a tune up, and notified me via text when they discovered the right hand shifter was broken. I would not have to pay for labor but only for the replacement part. They texted me for pick up. At pick up, Erik took the time to show me the old part and explain how rusted out the cables were and how they were preventing the bike from changing gears. They cleaned the bike up and now it looks brand new. Count us as another extremely satisfied and loyal customers moving forward. If you need a bike fixed for a great price with excellent customer service from top rate techs now you know where to go.

    Norco Storm 4

John helped me order a new Norco Storm 4 when all other shops were unable and unwilling to help me order what I wanted. Went back and got another bike for my girlfriend the following week. He was exceptional in tuning the bike to my needs without question and very polite I will be going here from now on. If you are looking for a new bicycle or repair or accessories go to Durango bike they will take care of you.

I have to hold back my tears of joy here…read more Bad news first outside of Mack's....over the past month I was screwed 2x by 1) a local shop in Tampa FL (UBC) and then by Erik's bike online. (received charge backs from both from my Bank). Both UBC and Erick's took my $600 deposit (UBC) and 3K+ (Erik's).... yet neither merchant had the Specialized Roubaix SL8 I ordered and paid for in their inventory. After calls and calls to follow up on the status, both UBC and Erik's dodged/deflected/gaslit me. Why? I have inroads with the FTC. My theory is that both Erik's and UBC potentially used my payment (amongst other consumers) as interest free loans to boost/float their short-term capital/liquidity to pay off their creditors b/c of their razor thin margins. This is illegal per FTC's rules and regs. This made me sick to my stomach. Good news: Hit the batch - secured my Roubaix, it's now in my hands. THANK YOU MACK. Honesty and integrity - highly recommend. Hell of a bike can't wait to uplevel from my hybrid (14 mph on 20 mi ride to 16 mph) LFG!

This place is truly diabolical. I was able to secure the new teamdream and cannondale caad14 in a size 56 from Mack's cycle shop in Miami. Darien was a super sweetheart on the phone so no love lost there, so I put down my deposit and was called this morning to let me know the bike is no longer going to be sold, but rather it's going to be used as part of a fundraiser for "Best Buddies." Additionally, it's now listed as DOUBLE the price on their website. So it's really nuts to think that anyone in their good mind would pay $5k for an aluminum frameset. I think donating the proceeds is all good and well, but it really left a bad taste in my mouth to work with an authorized dealer who sold me a VERY limited product, only to take it back the next day. I've called all the shops listed for this bike around the country after that and they are sold out. I'm truly stunned by this behavior and I hope that whatever good intention y'all had is met with karma on your end.

First let me say that their website is very helpful, as they keep full stock and prices up to date, so it was easy to see what they had in store with real prices. I had a couple of bikes in mind and emailed them with a few questions about stock/price/color/etc. I received a quick response from Mario and we continued to go back and forth with me pinging him with questions over the next week. When I got back into town, I advised him that I would drop by the next day to test ride a specific model. I showed up to the shop the next day and Mario was there. First let me say that this is an impressive shop - fully, fully stocked, well organized and a variety of bikes from low-end to super high-end. The selection is really excellent. Need a bottle cage? They have about 50 different types of them. If you're an obsessive cyclist, this place has a ton of bike porn. The repair shop area was huge and looks very well maintained. Mario helped me out with the test ride and I decided that I would go ahead and buy the bike. I told him that I was gong to swap out the white bar tape to make it all black, as well as the saddle - I had actually purchased new tape and had a decent black saddle back at home. He offered to swap these for me free of charge. I waited a bit while they taped the bars, installed the saddle and checked the bike out. Twenty minutes later, I left the store with my new Trek Emonda - a great bike at an amazing price. The other thing I'll note is that there was no shady salesmanship going on here. He knew I was there with a bigish budget and could have easily tried to squeeze a few hundred more dollars out of me by trying to sell me stuff I didn't need. The overall buying experience was excellent and the price was the best that I found anywhere in the area. i would highly recommend stopping by City Bikes whether you're buying a water bottle or a $5K performance road bike.
