I am new to the area and needed a new nail salon. After trying a few in the area, I was so happy to make Durbin Nail Spa my loyal selection. The salon is clean and always busy. I have personally witnessed the manager sanitize the floor at closing himself. Although I am very sad to learn that my favorite nail tech (Nancy) is no longer with them which I learned when making my regular appointment. I am going back hoping to get the same experience that she provided me for months now. She did really good work and I will miss her much. I will continue to patronize the business and hope that it was her choice and she if off to even greater things. Until I meet with her again, I will build a new relationship with I hope another great technician and my experience will remain the same. Fingers Crossed!!!! read more

First 3 times my wife went (I went with her one time to get side by side pedicure - Deluxe Pedi) and the first few times were good. My wife was excited it was super close to the house, and it seemed clean new and well layed out. Well the last two times she went were not good experiences. The 1st of the two we chalked up to the lady technician having a bad day. Her mind seemed to be anywhere else except on my wife's nails. She was just very distracted and had to tell her a few times that the nails didnt match each other and the focus just wasnt there. Considered it to be a "one off". Well went back today to get a fill and when she sat down and showed the colors she wanted to get, the Male technician immediately tried to upsell gel. Politely told him wasnt interested and that just wanted regular nail polish, he all of a sudden copped an attitude. His whole demeanor instantly changed. He was extremely rude and definitely seemed like he didnt want to be there. I asked my nails to be shaped a certain way so they look more natural and he snapped and said that's not possible. They are too short. I've had this done other places previously without a problem so I know I wasn't asking for the impossible. When he started painting my nails he accidentally painted one of my nails the wrong color. I politely pointed out that the color was supposed to go on to another nail and he barked out " JESUS CHRIST". She couldnt believe how unprofessional and she is not one to be confrontational or complain. She didn't say anything but she immediately began to shake and just wanted to get out of there. The whole experience was anything but enjoyable for her and she felt since she wasnt spending more money that she was a nuisance to them. When she got home she was very upset (as she was looking forward to having an enjoyable time) and was even more upset that she didnt say anything at the time. So I immediately called them on the phone and asked for a manager or owner. I was told that the manager or owner wasnt in. The gentleman listened to me explain that the last two times my wife has been there that they weren't very good experiences. That especially the man today who was working on her nails (bigger guy, muscular build) was very rude, seemed very irritated and that he seemed he really didn't want to be there or care about his job) the man who answered the phone seemed very understanding and apologetic. Basically stated that this wasnt the first time and that he and the owner will address this situation with the man who did her nails today. He stared this was unacceptable and that they want everyone to enjoy themselves when they come. I felt the person who answered the phone did listen and seemed to care, but who knows what will actually transpire. In my mind, this guy should be fired. But it also comes down to the lady who worked on her nails the time before. Two bad experiences in a row. Although the lady wasnt rude, she just wasnt very "caring" or seemed like she wanted to be there either. We are very easy going people and RARELY if ever complain but when my wife comes home in tears and shaking (because she wishes she said something but doesnt have it in her - and yes she still tipped the guy despite him being very unprofessional) there is a serious issue. She has stated to me she will not be going back. She will make the drive back to her old place "Bella Diva" where she has never had an issue and has always been treated well. This is a shame as Durbin Nails is literally right around the corner from us. But two times in a row and especially a guy who is that unprofessional and makes remarks like "JESUS CHRIST" doesn't deserve our income. He is lucky I wasnt there as he and I would've had some words.. if he is reading this, shame on you bro. If you dont like your job go somewhere else. But dont treat anyone this way. Thank you for making something she was looking forward to, a bad experience... you should be proud for being the scum you are. read more

Everyone should use Durbin Nail Spa, their hygiene standards are the best I have ever seen. Amy is wonderful very professional and pays attention to the details for all spa services she renders. This place has the WORST customer service skills I have EVER experienced. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon at approximately 5pm. When I got to the front desk there were about 5 cashiers standing there sulking with no smiles on their faces. I told a young lady with brown hair that it was my first time there and I expected her to be courteous and kind since I had never been there before, she did not speak to me and then a Japanese lady came up to me and basically just said "this way". When I sat down, I tried to explain to her that I had been getting SNS powder for a long time but that I needed to stop and let my nails breathe and get Gel instead. She looked at my nails like they were the ugliest things she had ever seen and she did not speak a word of english. Another woman sat down next to her and they were speaking in Japanese, looking at me and laughing. I will never go back to this Godforsaken hell hole again. read more

Lots of nail salon choices around here but my daughter and I decided to try this new one. We arrived right when they opened without an appt and got right in for pedicures. Very nice atmosphere and good job by the tech. Prices are just a bit higher than other places but worth it. I'll be back! read more

I'm new to this area and wanted to give this nail salon a try. I've had to go back three times to this nail salon for my topcoat for my SNS because it cracked the first time.Second time it started to peel off. An now it's cracked once again after two days. After paying 45 dollars for my nails at Durbin nail salon I definitely will stick with my long drive back to my old nail salon for 35 for my SNS that I know will last me longer then a week without any cracks,peeling,etc. Your prices should ALWAYS reflect your results. read more

My legs having a terrible rash, bumps and none stop itching. I'm very concern I did not do anything different of my daily routine...I went to the Dermatologist multiple times...finally took sample to find out the test result was getting the virus from a Deluxe pedicure @Durbin Nails Spa. How do I get it? from the REUSED PARAFIN WAX . This nice and fancy Salon does not mean anything to me they just fool people. I am telling everyone just to be aware of the parafin wax I just don't trust this salon. They give you a deluxe pedi with parafin but they recycle them to use them again and again to others, I found out from one of the employee. I I don't want the owner gave them a hard time. I find that was so unsanitizes and unfair for the public health . I will make sure I give this message to other so they don't make the same mistake I made to go to your Durbin Fancy salon. who's know what else they might be cheating too. read more
