My first experience was not a great experience I was greeted at the door and questioned if I made an appointment which I stated I did I then explained what type of procedure that I needed which was just a fill they stated for the dip nails that I had that they would have to take off the nails and provide me with a full set because they don't do fills on dip Nails I'm trying to understand what is the logic in that accept we're going to extort more money from you and we're not going to care about the condition or if we damage your nails I will never go back to this establishment again I'm very disappointed and only thing good about this appointment was the young lady that helped me she's from the Dominican Republic and she's very smart intelligent and she does a good job if it wasn't for her I would have just walked out the door read more

My 1st time going was maybe a week or two after the grand opening & my visit was amazing. I love how many options of gel polish they have & how many different options for pedicures. The lady who did my feet that day was amazing & so was the lady that did my nails. However when I went back over the weekend my experience was completely different. The lady who started my nails was rude & was trying to tell me how I want my nails instead of listening to me about how I wanted them. I ended up switching to someone else & she did my nails exactly how I wanted them. The prices are a bit pricey & out of the two times I've been never offered complimentary anything. read more

I was going to Brandie for several months for my natural SNS nail dip, and she was fantastic, they always came out smooth and beautiful, great attention to detail and friendly. Suddenly they banned Brandie from taking appointments and I couldn't get her. I still went back because it is a convenient location. They sat me down with Orchid. I asked for an SNS French tip, different colors, and she could not understand what I asked for. The manager explained twice. They charged me $64 dollars for it, even though I thought that was crazy...to me it was just a French, but..ok. I simply wanted a flat color on my nails with a sparkle tip, and reverse on the ring finger.....not that hard. I was nervous she would do it wrong, and of course she did. When she did the first French dip wrong, I Politely told her it was the wrong color, she ignored me and grabbed the next finger, telling me it looked good. Then when she got to the ring finger she said the black tip wouldn't work (not her fault really, as her manager told her it wouldn't Work), and put a dull white Sparkle on a bright pink Sparkle that didn't show up at all. Deciding it didn't look right, she polished over the white with black gel. I at least give her credit for trying. She then only put one coat of clear gel over and said I was done, they usually do 2 coats to make it last longer. The whole time she was argumentive about colors, rough and a bit rude, disappearing for 5-10 minutes at a time. After a few times trying to correct her and her ignoring me, I gave up and just wanted to get out of there. My nails came out bumpy, bulky and more matte than I am used to..even after telling her I wanted them shiny. Plus, they started chipping within a week where she put the black gel on, so now I ring fingers with icky color in the tip and black on the sides. It looks horrible on top of the horrible job already done on them. I had given then 5 stars previously, but I can't say enough how disappointed I am now, they treat as as just a number now, where they used to treat you nicely. I may try them one more time, but will make sure I don't ask for anything other than standard SNS. read more

Not a fan, the staff is eh and my nail tech cut my finger with the file... she did not just graze it, she cut it and it bled... not only that, all she said was "sorry" and didn't offer a discount or anything which i think SHOULD have happened after cutting someone. Update of prior review. Now that this salon has been open awhile, it's gotten very disappointing. Very expensive for what you get. The basic pedi is $ 30 for almost a simple polish change. No massage, no hot towels, nothing. About 15 min for a full pedicure and not a great one at that. The staff is friendly however, not worth the price. read more

I'm super low maintenance , not picky and just like clean sleek looking nails in a nice environment. I got Brandie today and she was such a breath of fresh air. She did great on my nails, no fuss and explained to me about how great the business was organized and focused around customer service. I went here on vacation to get a full set of eyelashes done last minute. I decided to get the $50 set and was pretty disappointed by the results. You can tell the lashes are strip lashes and aren't put on very evenly. I wouldn't have really minded if they were 25-30$ instead of $50 but they definitely aren't worth $50. The women encouraged me to get the $130 lashes by showing me tons of photos of the more expensive lashes she's done. I asked to see pictures of the $50 lashes and she didn't have anything for me to see, which I think is pretty strange. THE WORST PART: The room where they do your lashes was dirty. The floor was covered with hair and the towels laid out on the table were obviously unclean. The women even said to me "someone made a mess of this room". The receptionist had walked me to the room and had seen the condition of the room and did nothing about it. Kind of gross in my option. OVERALL: The front of the salon is very pretty but I think the employees don't really care about the cleanliness of the place plus the eyelashes are overpriced. Hands down one of the best nail salons I've ever been too. I haven't gotten my nails done in years was very skeptical about where to go but I knew this was a new location so decided to give it a try. Was greeted with smiling faces and was taken to begin within 2 minutes ( made an appointment right before coming ) Amy was so sweet and talkative not to mention the amazing work she did on my nails I would HIGHLY recommend her! She was quick but efficient. Service was so great I decided to get a pedicure after wards called the Royal Pedicure with lavender sugar scrub and lavender lotion hot stones and hot towels I literally feel asleep in my chair as she was massing my legs and feet definitely recommend this over the regular pedicure it's surely worth the money. Place is beautiful and very clean but the person that did my mothers pedicure should def take a class in customer service. I don't recall but she was an older lady. My mother ask if she could swatch a color on her nail to make sure she liked it, she didn't want too and wasn't the nicest at telling her, after the pedicure she didn't even tell my mother where she needed to go to dry her toes nor did she come and check to see if they were dry. I had been going to this salon for just under a year. I went to a new person almost every time, and was always pretty satisfied. However, the last time I was serviced, I was actually hurt pretty badly by one of the techs. He cut my finger with a hand file, filed my natural nails so thin to the point they hurt to the touch, he got the gel polish on my fingers, and when he went to replace one of my nails, he ripped off the existing nail with a nail tip. Then, three days later, with no effort whatsoever, my nail just popped off.. so, after being so unsatisfied with the work, I requested compensation, and I was denied, just offered to fix the broken nail. Now, one of my other nails has come right off, and I am gentle with them. My nail came off when I was drying my hands after washing them. Unacceptable, and terrible customer service. Christy gave me the absolute best pedicure I have ever received. She has an inviting and cheerful personality and of course she is great at her job! My daughter and I went to this place for the first time yesterday. It's very clean and the techs are very welcoming and kind. Upon entering the host and hostess greeted us and asked us to check-in. We informed them that we had an 1130 appt for pedis. They then asked us to choose our colors. There were many to choose from and it was great to see they use OPI, Orly, and the good gel brands. Shortly after they brought my daughter and I to the back area so it was semi private which was great because it was like we has the place to ourselves. Keep in mind I scheduled this appt 3 days advance because I was celebrating an occasion and I believe planning ahead. Although, the requirement is 3 hours ahead. The pedicure was very thorough and clean. Their tools were in plastic before they use them on you. I had an ingrown but Orchid had no problem taking care of it. If you ever have the chance, try the Volcano pedicure!!! It's wonderful and so refreshing!!! read more

I came in for a sns manicure and left highly disappointed. First off, they charge you extra for everything. Secondly, my nail tech left my nails soaking and went off to help another client really quick (normal). A few minutes later another nail tech comes and starts doing my nails and I didn't even question it, the first guy comes back and was obviously upset that he stole his client and they started arguing right there in front of me. I wish I had said something because the guy that ended up doing my nails did an awful job. Not to mention they nickel and dime you for everything INCLUDING THE SHAPE OF YOUR NAIL!! My nails were already long and almond shaped but for some reason I was charged $5 extra for it! And that's just the beginning, go somewhere else that won't rip you off. First time ever posting a review and I hate sharing negative things about businesses but this was pretty disappointing.. This was my second time giving this place a shot. First time I went I showed them the color I wanted and they did the wrong color completely, which I don't understand how that happens when I showed the lady the exact color I wanted. Today I called ahead and made an appointment with Amy. When I went in I said " I have an appointment with Amy at 3:30 and I checked in. I was seated with someone else that wasn't Amy. I kinda just brushed it off but still, I picked a color and also showed a picture of what I wanted. The whole time the process just felt very rushed and that they just wanted me done and out of the chair so they would get in the next client in the chair to make more money as fast as they can. I am new to the area and needed a new nail salon. After trying a few in the area, I was so happy to make Durbin Nail Spa my loyal selection. The salon is clean and always busy. I have personally witnessed the manager sanitize the floor at closing himself. Although I am very sad to learn that my favorite nail tech (Nancy) is no longer with them which I learned when making my regular appointment. I am going back hoping to get the same experience that she provided me for months now. She did really good work and I will miss her much. I will continue to patronize the business and hope that it was her choice and she if off to even greater things. First 3 times my wife went (I went with her one time to get side by side pedicure - Deluxe Pedi) and the first few times were good. My wife was excited it was super close to the house, and it seemed clean new and well layed out. Well the last two times she went were not good experiences. The 1st of the two we chalked up to the lady technician having a bad day. Her mind seemed to be anywhere else except on my wife's nails. She was just very distracted and had to tell her a few times that the nails didnt match each other and the focus just wasnt there. Considered it to be a "one off". Well went back today to get a fill and when she sat down and showed the colors she wanted to get, the Male technician immediately tried to upsell gel. Politely told him wasnt interested and that just wanted regular nail polish, he all of a sudden copped an attitude. His whole demeanor instantly changed. He was extremely rude and definitely seemed like he didnt want to be there. I asked my nails to be shaped a certain way so they look more natural and he snapped and said that's not possible. They are too short. I've had this done other places previously without a problem so I know I wasn't asking for the impossible. When he started painting my nails he accidentally painted one of my nails the wrong color. I politely pointed out that the color was supposed to go on to another nail and he barked out " JESUS CHRIST". She couldnt believe how unprofessional and she is not one to be confrontational or complain. She didn't say anything but she immediately began to shake and just wanted to get out of there. The whole experience was anything but enjoyable for her and she felt since she wasnt spending more money that she was a nuisance to them. When she got home she was very upset (as she was looking forward to having an enjoyable time) and was even more upset that she didnt say anything at the time. So I immediately called them on the phone and asked for a manager or owner. I was told that the manager or owner wasnt in. The gentleman listened to me explain that the last two times my wife has been there that they weren't very good experiences. That especially the man today who was working on her nails (bigger guy, muscular build) was very rude, seemed very irritated and that he seemed he really didn't want to be there or care about his job) the man who answered the phone seemed very understanding and apologetic. Basically stated that this wasnt the first time and that he and the owner will address this situation with the man who did her nails today. He stared this was unacceptable and that they want everyone to enjoy themselves when they come. I felt the person who answered the phone did listen and seemed to care, but who knows what will actually transpire. In my mind, this guy should be fired. But it also comes down to the lady who worked on her nails the time before. Two bad experiences in a row. Although the lady wasnt rude, she just wasnt very "caring" or seemed like she wanted to be there either. We are very easy going people and RARELY if ever complain but when my wife comes home in tears and shaking (because she wishes she said something but doesnt have it in her - and yes she still tipped the guy despite him being very unprofessional) there is a serious issue. She has stated to me she will not be going back. She will make the drive back to her old place "Bella Diva" where she has never had an issue and has always been treated well. This is a shame as Durbin Nails is literally right around the corner from us. But two times in a row and especially a guy who is that unprofessional and makes remarks like "JESUS CHRIST" doesn't deserve our income. He is lucky I wasnt there as he and I would've had some words.. if he is reading this, shame on you bro. If you dont like your job go somewhere else. But dont treat anyone this way.
