After the meeting was over we felt like we were hanging out with an old friend and decided Peter was who we were going to choose. Our second meeting was for our engagement photos which were taken on the Chicago lakefront and then after a change of outfits we moved onto more photos on the bridges over the river and along the river. He was great about answering questions ahead of time and the process to pay the deposit and balance was a breeze - no issues there. We opted to have one shot per person lightly retouched. The first gallery with all the photos to choose from was laid out nicely. It included Mike's favorites, ones he thought the subject liked, and one that had all images. This really helped our indecisive teammates narrow things down. Once we had the first gallery back and one final image selected per person, Mike worked his magic to make us all look good. We just received our photos from our son's third birthday year, and they are super cute. We did…read morethem at Humboldt Park, and Laurie had scouted every little micro-location, including a picnic under an impressive tree, skipping stones in the little lagoon, complete with lily pads in the water, and the exact location on the bridge where the Willis Tower peeks through the tree canopy. We were wrangling a three-year-old, a Rhodesian Ridgeback-boxer-beagle and a pitbull, and she made everything look relaxing and joyful. All three babies had fun and looked good. So did my shy husband and I. Laurie also did some light retouching at my request, and the results looked natural and beautiful. She is exceptionally good at retouching.
