It was a big project and we were excited about getting started. After going over ideas and getting mostly on the same page we were almost set to begin. We needed to figure out who the contractor would be when my husband received an email from her that she was quitting?!? WTH?? What happened? My husband tried to have a real conversation via telephone but she wouldn't even talk to him. Just sent another email that she was 'done'. Maybe she was upset we didn't just agree to hire her contractor?? Maybe upset we wanted additional ideas for a bathroom we were unsure of?? Guess we'll never know... This is after we already paid her $10k. Not even the respect of a conversation. This also cost us an additional 3 months of paying a double mortgage. Not cool. This was a very disappointing and costly setback for us. The lack of respecting others' time and money is something to think about if you are considering hiring her.
