It's small, but there is still plenty of tables and chairs. They have a small kid area, a slide, and a lap pool. They also have lockers, life jackets, dressing rooms for women, men, and a family room. They do not have a concession stand, however, you are more than welcome to bring in your coolers and food to enjoy a day there. Despite people bringing in food, the pool and the pool area was clean. Will definitely visit again before summer is over and excited to have a new spot to take the kids out next year.

There's a small park, picnic tables, lots of shade, ducks roaming and you can go fishing or canoeing in the Lake. The crowd is filled with a mixture of everything. Families grilling, dogs all around, teens hanging, families playing volleyball, people witnessing. Lots of fishing going on. Summer time was definitely alive. The crowd stays all the way til dusk too. Also, they have really nice restrooms! It's a big brick building that has the Men's and Women's Restrooms beside each other. The Women's Rest Room was clean but, a little stuffy. There were two stalls. One was small and a little messy and the other was large without a door? Soap dispenser was filled and hot water was available too! My one suggestion would be, the path should lead to the R.R, instead of having to walk through the grass. The trails were alot smaller than I expected. They we're simple and surrounded the lake. The Park is also secured by the Police. If your family member has not returned from the lake after dusk, for more than forty-five minutes. The police will go looking for them. If your looking for a place for a family outing, I would suggest coming here. It's fun and safe!

A great space to put a picnic blanket out. And there is a play ground. (I didn't check how good it was but from afar it looked in great shape.) The waters beautiful. You can dock a boat or take your kayaks or pattle boats out, we saw some people do that. And there's great amount of shade. There is also plenty of birds around, which sound beautiful, however just beware, we did get popped on.

Wow! We had such a nice time at pirates cove and we didn't even do all the activities! We went…read morelater in the day to meet friends who were staying at Jellystone and we had to park near the jellystone entrance which was just a short walk. Once there we hung out on the smaller kid side and let me son have fun with the smaller slides. He really enjoyed the several options here, but the water pressure didn't always allow him to freely slide down the slides. He had to constantly push himself to keep going down. After a couple hours there we ventured to the bigger side where, to my surprise, my son was tall enough for just about everything! We hung out in the lazy river for awhile then enjoyed all the big slides as most of them had pretty short wait times. The attendants at the slides were all nice. It took awhile sometimes to wait for an inflatable or racing mat for two of the slides, but after you get one you go right away. I actually enjoyed all the stairs too - most of the slides on the big side share the same stairwell, which surprisingly didn't get too crowded, but I got over 15,000 steps for the day going up and down those stairs about 8 times so I appreciated that. It was a nice family place with options for entertainment! We saw that they also had an arcade that we didn't check out, but it seemed like a lot of people were having fun there too. I'd say people of all ages were having a nice time here, especially with the live DJ in the lazy river - so fun!!

Marine Creek Lake Trail is a beautiful and peaceful six mile trail that goes around the lake. Marine Creek Lake is beside the TCC Northwest campus which is nice. I'm grateful to have this walking trail close by. I look forward to returning to this trail.

Marine Creek Lake is a 250-acre no wake lake (more tranquil waters) which provides a welcome, peaceful respite from hectic city life. The 6-mile trail adjacent to the lake offers walking and running opportunities. At the lake, boating/kayaking/canoeing, swimming and fishing--with catfish here and there and bass on the riprap--are some of the main activities people participated in. After researching various parks in and around the Fort Worth area for a recent visit, I decided on Marine Creek Lake. Although unconventional in the park area, I also think the Marine Creek Lake area has everything I enjoy re: parks like verdure, beautiful landscapes, lots of trees, cool people, places to relax and interesting activities. Personally, one of my favorite activities was just walking along the deck and looking out at the lake waters and everything in the background. I met, rather serendipitously, two cool people who were also visiting Marine Creek Lake. One guy was there mainly to fish and let me borrow his fishing pole but all I caught was some seaweed-like aquatic plants, which he said is more than what he caught. (Haha) In the beginning of each try, I could feel something substantial and heavy underwater, but no dice. Another person was there walking his Chihuahua-Corgi mix named Finny. Parking here was easy, as I recall. The Marine Creek Lake area wasn't crowded, so the adjacent parking lot had lots of spaces available on a Saturday morning. I am kind of glad its existence seems to be a well kept secret of sorts. It is definitely a hidden gem. [5/5], Highly recommended!

White Settlement Trailhead Park has picnic tables, porta potties and extended trails…read more The scenery is exceptionally pleasant. That's why I'm giving this park four stars. Its so easy to get to, right off White Settlement and Isbell Road. The few times I've been here a picnic table was available. Unfortunately, their was trash around the picnic table and the trash can was full. Porta potty was available and had toilet paper and it wasn't the cheap kind! It may have been Charmin Ultra Soft. Lol. Trails are endless with numerous possibilities of discoveries.. However, you will run into some poo along the trails. The poo is bad. Its hard to figure out what animal poos like that. Smh. Maybe, they should rename the park and call it the Poo Trails. Lol. This is a great location for photos. The park also has a water fountain for you and your dog. There's a misting fan available and a place to park your bike. Bikers and walkers are seen at this park. If you can overlook the poo and trash, I think you will enjoy this park.
