Aaaaamazing!!! This…read morepark checks every box. Walkable, bike friendly, and perfect for a solid run. The trail is paved and lined with mile markers, which I always appreciate. Each bridge has clear street signs and access points with stairs or exits, so you can hop on or off wherever you need. There are also location markers along the trail, (for emergency purposes )which is great for safety in such a large park. Playgrounds are scattered throughout, and there is even a basketball court tucked under a bridge with really cool graffiti that gives it some personality. The park is clean. Like noticeably clean. Restrooms are mostly portable, but many are enclosed in small structures so they blend in better and are not an eyesore. And yes, they were clean. You will find kayaking launch areas, fishing spots, picnic tables, and benches everywhere. There is plenty of space to spread out without feeling isolated. It is not overcrowded, but you are not alone either. The crowd felt easygoing, and cyclists were respectful. I felt completely safe the entire time. There are multiple paths to switch things up, plus a few shorter gravel routes if you want a change of pace. I even spotted e bike stations along the way. Honestly, this park sits right in the heart of Fort Worth and makes it feel like you do not even need a car in this part of DFW. One of the best runs I have had in a while.

My grievances include... -lots of graffiti -the mats underneath the swing are in disarray, this could lead to a child clipping his or her ankle -the gripping knobs on the rock wall were slippery and unsecure -this park is unoriginal and is the exact same model as Skyline Ranch Park -the wood chips at this park are obscurely sharp which could lead to the penetration of oneself from fall Using my professional park rating scale system that I have used for 11,983 different parks. I have decided to rate this park a 22 out of 100. I came to this score after calculating the benefits and many detriments of this park. In spite of its size, the park is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and has a lot to offer families with children. In the rear of the park there were rows of huge blocks of rock ascending the hill to the nearby street. By far this was the best place to sit in order to capitalize on the most shade from the trees. Now that I know this park is here, I will swing by more often.

It's a nice, quiet park tucked in the shade of trees. Kids love the big tunnel slide. When the neighborhood has special events, they usually put out a chalkboard sign giving the details of the event. Today they posted about an easter egg hunt. That would be so fun! I like to use the large field to do post run yoga and it would be a great spot if you wanted to do a group yoga session.

There was a wide variety of toys and everything was in good condition. I also liked that I could see him from almost anywhere in the space. This allowed for me to not have to be up and down as much to follow him around. The coffee bar was a nice touch! The only thing that was a bummer was there were some older kids who were pretty rowdy on the slides and foam area and the front desk girl never stepped in. I felt like I had to constantly make sure my little guy was away from them. We will definitely be back, especially in the heat of the summer!

There was a lot of age appropriate toys for her to play with and the amount of kids that were there at the 11am slot was a good amount (10 kids total, including a couple infants that weren't playing). There were a lot of sitting areas near all toy areas as well for parents. When we arrived at 11am, the whole space was clean and all the toys were put away nicely. The music playing (kids music) really set the mood for a good time for the kids. All the kids and parents there were all nice and friendly. Overall, I will come again and would recommend this place to all families!
