I've had multiple issues at this Dutch Bros location. My drinks are often made wrong, and staff don't clearly understand or explain promotions. I recently asked if charms were available before ordering and was told yes. After I paid, I was told they were out. No warning, no clarification..just misleading information to make a sale. Customers should be told upfront if items are unavailable or if drinks don't qualify. This experience was frustrating, a waste of time and money. read more

Normally Dutch bros is always good they serve with smiles and are always very good at making the drinks correctly. However this time when we went the drive through line was pretty long so we just ordered online to pick up because we thought it would be faster but it wasn't. All the people in the drive through got there drinks before us and then when we finally did get our drinks they did not put whip cream on either of the ones we requested it on. Overall it was okay, wish it was faster because thats the whole reason we ordered online but the drinks taste good, they would be better if they remembered the whip cream though. read more

I've ordered my Dutch cold brew cold pour, which means no ice multiple times and I get to the window and they tell me that it's two dollars more you guys have never charged me before. to top it off. I really wasn't sure what to expect, but someone had given me a gift card so I decided to stop by. The employee was super friendly. I hadn't realized that it's window or drive-through only and that there's no seating area or anything, but hey, that's a fine coffee business model. As far as the coffee goes, I was expecting something that was going to be crazy sweet with all the froofy coffee names. I guess you can get it that way, but the default seems to have no additional sweetener at all. Which I'm quite fine with! So if you want your coffee froofy but not overly sweet, it's a good stop. I stopped by for a quick iced tea and while it was very tasty this location is always so busy and the line is chaos. I do appreciate the workers who come out to make sure everything flows OK with the two separate lines but usually once you're in line, you are committed to staying in line. It probably took me about 10 minutes to get through which isn't terrible but just a reminder that it's not a super quick drive thru if you are in a rush. I went for the Dutch Mojito because the coconut and mint combination sounded very refreshing which it was. I wasn't quite expecting it to be bright green, but that was fun to. I believe it was about just under three dollars for one 16 ounce drink which really isn't bad. I honestly really do like their flavored ice teas and compared to some of the coffee options I have gotten in the past the tea is much more affordable. Whenever I drive by, I always see a super long line for Dutch Bros. I decided to give it a try and see what the hype is all about. Their menu is super unique and it's full of fun flavors for everyone. I got the strawberry lavender milk shake and it was delicious. There was a caffeinated and non caffeinated option. The sizes are generous and the prices are typical starbucks prices. I got a medium but can definitely just get a small next time. They have an app to collect rewards if you plan on being a regular. It was much quicker to park and walk up to the walk up window than going through the drive thru. read more

An easy choice over the other coffee place that shall not be named, although today made me think twice about DB Juan Tabo. Shortest line I've seen yet, though still took awhile to place an order. Employees seemed to be hanging out/talking with friends in line, then again at the counter. I was ok with that until I received my order. It was wrong, and is obviously not what I ordered-- it tastes like hot cocoa & coffee combined. Just not good. Not sure what it is because my drink was not supposed to have chocolate. A friend of mine wanted to hang out so I drove down Juan Tabo to find a new Dutch Bros built there. I just had to stop. It's not often I get a Dutch Bros because there aren't many locations around town. I wish they had more closer to me, I'd probably be more keen to go more often if they did. My favorite coffee to get is the trifecta, but my friend let me try their picture perfect freeze. Let me tell ya, I think I like that one better. I almost didn't wanna give it back to my friend lol. I think what I like most about this place is not only is the coffee good, but the prices are very reasonable. You go to Starbucks order a regular frapp that'll set you back 6 bucks easy. These guys a medium which is about the size of a Starbucks vente, 5 bucks. These guys have great tasting coffee at a fair price. What more can you ask for? Since day one I've been a fan. I'm so glad this place opened up on the east side, close to the freeway. I typically go through Alb every few months but getting DB before now meant a 40 minute side trip. I'm updating my review based on a some shady practices I've experienced. The first time I used the app to pay for my drink the employee asked if I would like to leave a tip. I said sure .75. She said "That's it? Are you sure you don't want to give more?" For one drink? No! So, I set up my Dutch Bros app with automatic tipping. This means every time I pay with my app it automatically adds a $1 tip. Well, tonight my husband and I visited the drive thru and ordered two drinks. The employee that took our order saw the pretty little star on the app that shows that I have automatic tipping enabled and he scanned my app TWICE! Once for each drink thus giving hisself TWO tips! I am so unhappy with this shadiness. I immediately turned off the automatic tipping. This kind of behavior puts a bad reputation on a good business. read more

So as life would have I love coffee and enjoy trying different places. I have been hearing hearing about how delicious Dutch Bros is for some time from my friends not living in New Mexico. So the first location was not distance friendly or convenient. Then it happened something was actually being built on the east side of Albuquerque. I first saw this line that wrapped around the building, actually three lines funneling into two lines. I was committed. I was approached by a bubbling burst of energy. She very graciously showed me a menu, answered my annoying questions and took my order. Their staff which I know had several out of state employees assisting with the opening of this location were fantastic. The newer employees stood out with their deer in the headlights stare. Within minutes I was streamed around and received my drink. Yes it was fantastic!!! I was surprised at the size drink I purchased for less than other franchises. I personally LOVE Dutch Bros! I am one of those people that will wait my 40 minutes in line just for that 10 minutes of deliciousness. Patience is definitely the key at this location though. The lines are ALWAYS almost out onto the Main Street. I do have to mention I have tried their hot drinks, and I am not a fan! The flavors just don't come through very well. I am all about the cold drinks though. Everything I've gotten cold (Almond Bar, Grasshopper, Flap Jack) have all been so creamy and wonderful. Super friendly staff eager to help guide you to your drink order preference. They offer lemonades, energy drinks, and coffee variations. Their drive thru lines are orderly and they have a good system to push their customers through relatively quickly. So far I tried the blended cocomo, the peach tea, and the annihilator. I like the blended coffee drinks quite well. Not sure I like them better than Starbucks. However, the peach tea was a bit too sweet for me. Next time I'll ask if we can scale that sweetness down. I'm usually an unsweet girl when it comes to tea. Lastly, they are cheaper than Starbucks, larger quantity in scale, and they have kill you with kindness mafia crew. Drive-thru line was very long when we arrived. A staff walked up to the windows to take order. She was nice and made some recommendations since it's our first time here. About 10-15 mins wait we got our drink. We had a caramel sort hot coffee and a cold brew with Irish cream. The hot coffee was delicious like a dessert. According to them, small and medium coffee has 2 shots and large drink has 4 shots. Our large coffee's bitterness and sweetness was perfectly balanced to our taste. Alright, let me start this by breaking it down into categories because where they get their stars docked isn't where you think. Customer Service: Y'all!!! Dutch Bros on Juan Tabo has THE nicest staff I have ever interacted with. They are kind, polite, down to earth, helpful, and all of the people who are taking orders in the drive thru are driven to find a solution to every problem they encounter. I've been here probably 10-20 times since they have opened and I have interacted with every management level because they're there standing next to signage insuring success for their staff. They are continually wanting to improve and we've been asked twice by different management how our experience was and they take it in and really strive for an awesome experience. Drink Quality: Every drink that I've received has been fantastic. My favorite are the iced Chai's (I have literally tried them all and am super sad I didn't get to try Horchata before they removed it off their digital menu) and the iced Double Rainbro Rebel--what a way to kick start a mid-day slump! I love that they offer a variety of alternative milks too. Although I forget to order my chai's with coconut milk just about every time... Location/Wait Time: While I'm grateful that southern Juan Tabo got a well-deserved new, fun location to get a great drink at, it is THE WORST location in the world for the crowds that Dutch Bros draws. I've experienced near-death experiences while waiting on Juan Tabo to turn into Dutch Bros. **Word of Advice** If you're in the roadway, TURN ON YOUR HAZARDS. This location has double ordering lanes, but it's just not big enough. This place would benefit from its own parking lot and drive thru in the middle of an empty lot just to accommodate all the business they get. I can get in line with a guaranteed wait of about 30 minutes on average. Does it suck? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Will I continue to wait? Probably. I have been told that they're looking at opening more locations in Albuquerque (thank the baby Jesus), but there isn't a definitive timeline on that. They HAVE GOT to work out the lines though. It's only a matter of time before a lawsuit happens because someone gets hit and injured while waiting on Juan Tabo. So, to sum things up--this place is bomb. You should definitely try it. Don't take anyone with you who complains on long wait times. If you enjoy Blink 182, you can make it through half of their NINE album (also highly recommend) while waiting for your next Double Rainbro. read more

You just drive thru; there is no inside from what we could tell. They had a few lines set up with lots of personnel to make sure they get you waited on quickly. We like regular coffee, nothing fancy. Stopped at Dutch Brothers after work to get a decaffeinated iced mocha coffee. The coffee was delicious but the girl at the window was extremely rude and insulting to the point that I called the corporate office and complained. The lady Misty that I talked to on the phone was very pleasant and said that the problem would be addressed to the manager of that location. She apologized for The bad experience and sent me a complimentary coffee coupon. I wasn't looking for that and it's not my intention to get the employee in trouble but they definitely need to be taught to be more professional and nice to the customers. I've been to Dutch Bros in many locations (Oregon, Washington State, California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada).. never have I experienced such a garbage location.. horrible customer service, espresso machine tasted like it hasn't been cleaned in a few weeks and the espresso tasted bitter, so did the cold brew.. never experienced such a demeaning attitude from the employees. I realize you have a lot of customers but if you don't make the drink right, don't tell me you have a bunch of drinks in line and that I'm going to have to wait another 20 minutes to correct it. Dutch Bros Coffee is synonymously known for their awesome customer service and employees with a positive attitude. The girl at the counter was definitely not fitting that profile. She needs to find a new job, she has no sense of the definition of customer service or appreciation for customers. She rolled her eyes, wouldn't tell me how the drink was made or answer any of my questions, and just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Will definitely follow up with corporate in Grants Pass.. lol and the "shift lead" was a joke, she didn't try to correct anything whatsoever, walked up to me and I told her I wanted a refund.. she went back to check on upcoming drinks instead of processing a refund, making me wait even longer.
