O'Beans is everything you would want it to be. This is a small family run coffee shop in NE Albuquerque. The service is incredible. The people running the place are just SO ... DANG ... FRIENDLY. They knew some customers by name. We went there for the first time Saturday morning and they made us feel welcome, more than that, they made us feel part of the community. We ordered a mocha and a latte, both absolutely delicious. We sat indoors at a table old-timey VW car seats and enjoyed our beverages. There is seating outside too. Inside and out, they have a cool old-school car and vibe, a touch of Christianity is noticeable and you feel just the family love.

This coffee shop is so cute and located perfectly in the Northeast mountains. I love the slugbug hippy car vibe that the theme is centered around. There is a cute little slug bug parked outside. The service was fantastic! Upon entering, I was greeted by the batista and welcomed. He explained the menu a bit and also when my drink was made, he brought it out to where I was sitting. That was a very sweet detail I liked about this cafe: that the baristas took note of who ordered what and where they were sitting within the restaurant. I ordered the iced "Megan" which was made with Nutella. It was absolutely delightful. I loved that it was sweet without overpowering the coffee taste. It's really difficult to make a sweet latte that doesn't overpower the coffee. I will be back to try the other specialty lattes.

If you're on the hunt for an oasis of warmth, flavor, and unbeatable service in Albuquerque, look no further than O'Bean Coffee. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted like an old friend returning home. The atmosphere here is downright inviting, wrapping you in a cozy embrace that makes every visit feel like a retreat from the daily grind. Let's talk about the star of the show: their coffee. Oh boy, where do I even begin? It's not just a cup of joe; it's a revelation. Each sip is a journey through layers of flavor, expertly crafted by artisans who take their passion for coffee seriously. It's evident from the first taste that O'Bean doesn't just serve coffee; they elevate it to an art form. And let's not forget, they roast their own beans, ensuring that every cup is a masterpiece from start to finish. Say goodbye to the bland, predictable offerings of chain coffee shops because once you've experienced O'Bean, there's simply no going back. This is coffee at its finest, and it's clear that they take pride in every aspect of their craft. Walk into a warm welcoming business that will care about you visiting and get actual service with people that care. Good bye Bucks There is a much better, Friendlier and tastier coffee in town.

Absolutely Love This Coffee Shop. My Other Half & I Try To Come Here Whenever We're Able To Our Favorite Is I Believe Called "Valerie". The Service Is Great Always Welcoming. Great Place To Sit And Enjoy.

Great little coffee spot in the Albuquerque foothills. Interior has a cute VW theme and there is plenty of seating both inside and out. Staff is always pleasant, efficient, and accommodating. O'Beans serves a nice variety of drinks and has plenty of sweet and savory treats to meet your every craving. This is a regular stop for me after hiking the foothills and a great place to relax.

Amazing coffee, plain and simple. I have had coffee all over town and this place had the best tasting pour over black coffee I've had. My partner had a couple other specialty coffee's like the mocha and the Azteca, which has a decadent rich flavor mixed with a bit of red chili. Obeans is a very quaint and cozy coffee shop with a very unique Volkswagen decorum. It has very comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are extremely friendly. I have been here twice and the second time I was greeted like an old friend and my drink order was remembered.

This is such a cute place and their coffee drinks are delicious. They have a lot of hot and cold options and non-coffee drinks like chai. They also have a selection of baked goods - namely donuts from Rebel donuts- so this is the perfect place to stop in before or after a hike in the foothills. There's also a patio in front with a gorgeous view of the Sandias. The employees were very friendly and the whole place just had a very nice vibe.

As a first time O'Beans visitor, I didn't know what to expect in terms of coffee quality but WOW was that good -- not to mention incredible service. We were greeted with the kindest staff and felt very welcome. I opted for the Abuelita latte (Mexican mocha) and it was so tasty. Notes of chocolate and spices that made it so delicious. My boyfriend went for a classic pour over and had no complaints either. We'll be back soon!

I came across O'Beans on yelp and thought how incredibly cute it looked. It reminded me of growing up in SoCal. When I was in high school a lot of my friends drove various types of VWs. My little brother got his first bug with a rag top. I remember cruising in around town with my friends in their bugs. So as I walked up some of the simple touches brought me back to my days of going to beach and riding a beach cruiser. If you threw in an ocean and a little pacific breeze I could almost envision myself in Newport Beach. Inside the decor and appeal is fantastic the VW conversions into their ambience is absolutely surfer charm.. Now being thAt this coffee shop we hope the coffee is good, guess what? IT IS FaNtastic!!!! I had Mexican chocolate coffee. Which took me further into my SoCal memories. Thank for briNging a little taste of youth, home and goodness into my day!

Food options are plenty and lunch starts serving at 10 which surprised me. I ordered the brisket nachos while a friend ordered the truffle fries. OMGOODNESS those fries were delicious, crispy and frankly outstanding! I love me some fries and these rank right up there! Maybe I should note the delicious fries in NM. Aside from when we ordered and when food was delivered, no one came to check on us or refill water. Didn't actually realize that till now as I'm writing this review. I ordered a mediocre Bloody Mary. It has no celery stalk or green olives. It was okay but certainly not worth $13 in my opinion. Nachos were okay. Didn't finish them. But those fries! I'll come just to get fries and a beer! You can sit outside, the views are wonderful! Or you can sit inside.

Had to ask for a knife to cut and sandwich and received a plastic knife. There was no garnish with the plate, food was just plopped on it. It was tasty, but by the time we got it, we were pretty much over it. Very few wait staff employees. Had to leave your table to go up and order and wait "a very long time". The view and location are awesome, but the service and way things were done are very lacking. We won't be back.

It's my local coffee shop where they know my name and my order as soon as I walk in. I also love the atmosphere here even though it is often crowded. It's a great place to get some work done, or to meet a friend to chat. Literally the only issue I have with them is their new ordering/card reader system. It's often down, which results in long lines, long waits, and stressed out baristas. Also, their it's tied to their loyalty program, so when I go there and their system is down, I don't get points.
