I also ordered a latte with whole milk and half simple syrup.(it was extremely good.). Look at the chocolate croissant, which was really good as well as the orange loaf., also really tasty. Any time I've been able to go I've gotten a pumpkin spice latte recently. & wow, the coffee there is just something else. & they have so many food options cause there's a restaurant attached to it! I love the patio options and how much seating there is. The girls who work here are so pretty and always super busy. There's even options for mimosas. I love all the windows and decorations they add for the seasons. You can tell whoever owns it cares about the vibe of everything! Meraki is a 10 out of 10 for me. The food is so delicious and so is their coffee! The service is always amazing with the sweetest, most beautiful girls! The environment is so chic and elevated! This place, kind of reminded me of the Grove downtown but more affordable. The service was cheerful. The walls are garage doors which were open, so it was like having brunch on a patio. I had plain black coffee and it was really good. My husband had a latte which he said was good. Everything was fresh and delicious. The traffic from the street was a little loud, especially with some of the loud mufflers that are popular these days. I genuinely dislike having to write this, as I love the atmosphere and the neighborhood, but after five visits, I can no longer ignore the consistent issues with the service. While the shop itself is beautiful, the staff has been consistently rude and dismissive. I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the pattern is now impossible to ignore. This past Saturday, my mother politely asked for an oat milk substitution, and the employee taking our order responded in a very sharp, unpleasant tone with no offer of an alternative. Later, the employee making our drinks--a woman with a distinct vine/leaf tattoo across her arm--was just as cold. I have dealt with her every visit, and her attitude is consistently dismissive. On a prior occasion, I thanked her twice for my drink; she looked directly at me, paused, and then turned her back without a word. It is disheartening to feel like an inconvenience for simply being a paying customer and being polite. Additionally, the management of the environment needs attention. During our last visit, an individual was inside yelling at customers for food. It took the staff several minutes to intervene, and the harassment simply moved to the outdoor seating area. I want to love this spot, but for the prices they charge, I expect a basic level of professional courtesy. Until the service culture changes, I will be taking my business elsewhere read more

Meraki is a cute coffee shop with a nice ambiance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of seating inside, as I believe the coffee shop shares a space with the Greek restaurant next-door and is used for overflow during the day. The food we had was decent - not bad, but not mind blowing. The croissant was the best part of the meal. All of the baked goods looked fantastic, and we would definitely go to try them again. I think the ambience of this shop is so nice with marble countertops, flowers on the tables, and wall to wall windows that roll up In warm weather. I typically get a latte with vanilla bourbon syrup and almond milk. I do wish they had more alternative milk offerings, as my brother in law is allergic to both nuts and dairy. I would love to see oatmilk on the menu. The avocado toast is AMAZING. Try it. They also have a variety of pastries daily. My only complaint is that the service is just ok. The girl working the counter always seems to have a chip on her shoulder, which I don't understand, as it is the same way every time I come in. The food was good but just a little too pricey for what you get. We ordered avocado toast a regular breakfast sandwich and two lattes, and it ended up being about $40. Of course, I love to support local, but it is just a little too much when there aren't any sides offered. This is more of a place to get a latte or coffee with a friend. As strictly as a coffee place, I recommend this location 100%. However, if you're looking for a filling breakfast or brunch, I wouldn't recommend it. Thanks for your upfront honesty on that ... Atmosphere: Have enjoyed conversations with several interesting local customers here. One thing we often agree upon is the entitled and unwelcoming attitude of the staff. Picture a Kardashian "wanna be" taking your food order ... yep, that's it exactly. A pretentious 20 something will take your order, just as Kim Kardashian might. They'll spin the signing screen around to you in a "routine, cold unwelcoming manner" where they have pre-selected an 18% gratuity for themselves. Next they'll "Yell" your name to pick up your coffee and maybe your food too ... and you'll often have to get up multiple times to fetch your water, utensils etc. The staff will make sure you understand "you're lucky to be here" and "frankly I'm only doing this job until I find something else" attitude. The staff is friendly and the coffee is pretty good (all good things, all good things), but there's nothing stunning about this place. I would even call it sparse. And the food I had was disappointing. The food at this place gets hyped to me all the time by multiple people... why?? Hyped food turned stale bun meal is a sad turn of events. I wouldn't order food here again. This shop feels like it's trying really hard, and it does have some great elements happening (those local candles, tho!) But ultimately it's just a location win IMHO. This neighborhood is desperate for outdoor coffee shops. Opa! Truly the loveliest, tastiest, most beautiful nosh I've had this year. You guys know by now how smitten I am when I come across edible art, and this was no exception. Located right next to Mykonos Cafe in the Mountain Run Shopping Center, Meraki is positively a breath of fresh air. The Homemade greek yogurt with macerated berries, fresh berries, honey, mint and house made granola was so delicious, and the goddess toast....oh my, absolutely exquisite and oh so prettyyyyyy. Guys, don't skimp out and miss the loukoumades, warm greek donut holes soaked in honey and dusted with crushed walnuts and powdered sugar!!!! I'm giving this because the times that I've had a stellar trip place this spot in my favorite regular coffee spots. Up front, here's what's not great about it: it smells like a Subway because it shares a mall with one of those godforsaken joints. I wish it were illegal to set up a Subway adjacent to literally anything. But! I can't imagine the owners had any say in the subway so let's move on. I've had drinks here that have the thickest microfoam in this city. There's at least one barista there who knows what they're doing and seems to love the slowness of making a good drink. There's a food menu (tomato soup and a brie grilled cheese?!) so you can eat savory food--I think about this place as a true cafe. Blankets on the chairs! A wall of windows! Inside/outside seating, you can pick up bouquets from a local florist. I've done work here plenty of times, but I've never needed an outlet--not sure if there is one. I wish I could transplant this place, or I wish for that subway to close. Maybe I just sit outside from now on and stop whining. read more
