This was a small and cozy locally owned and operated torta restaurant. There however were no prices anywhere which I found a bit odd for a fast casual restaurant. The seating area itself was quite small and the chairs weren't the comfiest, so i took the food to-go. It wasn't the best torta I've had, but it definitely got the job done. They were quick and the price was justifiable ($14 after tax).

Was craving some coffee during my inpatient stay here at UCHealth. Their are two Dazbog Coffee…read moreshops in the hospital (SideNote: The company was founded by a couple of Slovakian brothers). I went to the one inside the Garden View Cafe at around 9:45pm. A security guard was chatting up the barista, which I didn't mind because unlike some workers around the globe, she could multi-task. Wanted to go with a Mexican latte but decided against it on account of I don't know how cinnamon is gonna agree with my face hole. Anywho, I decided on their Karamel Kreme Latte on ice. Pretty dag gum delicious I'd say. The coffee has a real robust flavor to it. Bold and pronounced. She didn't oversweeten the drink which I appreciated and it had a satisfying creamy finished as implied. I decided to get a pastry on my way back up to my room and with my Medium drink (which honestly seemed like a Small in any other beverage based business), the price came to just under $10. A little rich for my blood TBH. But at that hour in the bottom bowels of a hospital they know, "Where else ya gonna go?" If they were a little more reasonable with the prices, then Id be tacking on another star. I enjoy the theme, coffee was some of the best Ive had in more than a minute so if you find yourself in need of a pick me up while your waiting for your roommate to finish with their test they can't tell ya too much about, grab yourself a Dazbog drink! We originally stopped in to check it out, and now it's firmly in our regular rotation. What really sets them apart for us is the flexibility. Some days we're in the mood for a decadent brown sugar drink, and other days we're trying to be a little more mindful. The team has always been happy to customize tea drinks with little to no sugar, making it easy to enjoy boba without feeling like you've completely abandoned your nutrition goals. It's a small thing, but it's made a big difference for us. On the flavor side, they deliver. The drinks are consistently balanced, the tea actually tastes like tea instead of being drowned out by sweetness, and the boba has that perfect chewy texture you're hoping for. The staff has also been incredibly friendly every time we've visited, taking the time to answer questions and make recommendations without making you feel rushed. The inside has plenty of seating and is usually busy when we are there...a nice sign to how good they are. If you're someone who loves classic, indulgent boba, you'll find plenty to enjoy here. But if you're looking for a shop that can also accommodate lower-sugar or lighter options without sacrificing quality, Snowl is absolutely worth checking out. It's one of the reasons we keep finding ourselves back through the door.
