Starbucks who? I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Dutch Bros. My husband and I moved to Carson City a few years ago and we would drive by this coffee shop at least twice a day. We finally stopped and we could not believe how many delicious yet simple choices they had! The drinks are THE BEST! They have the most cute cups for kids. And they are reusable! I stick them in the dishwasher all the time. My boys love getting chocolate milk from DB because they put whipped cream on the top of the straw...AWESOME! The muffin tops are so so so yummy! The lemon poppy seed one is the best! The atmosphere of the place is great! All of the employees have always seemed so happy and really are a great team. Not to mention the great owners, Andy and Jill. We always stop by whenever we are in Carson City. Ever since then we have been hooked. We go out of the way to go to a Dutch Bros. I used to love Dutch bros... But they've been so SLOW lately. I had 2 people ahead of me in line and I was in line for 20 minutes. Don't think I'll be returning thanks to the long waits. Great drinks and such.. But can't risk being late to work everyday read more

I've never had Dutch bros, yet I've heard all about the craze from friends and family...boy were they not kidding. Dutch bros was AMAZING to say the least. Lived up to or even exceeded all the positive remarks about the coffee here. It is so good, I am willing to make the 30 min drive to start by day off on the right note! read more

My argument is that the "coffee" is weak and virtually tasteless. I find the folks where I work prefer their coffee this way. Perhaps Dutch Bros is just filling a niche. Regardless, it is still horrible. read more

So I'm originally from California, but right now I go to college in Reno. Needless to say driving to Carson just to get coffee might seem a little weird to most people, but I've never had Dutch bros before today and I really wanted to try it. THE DRIVE WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. Not only was the coffee absolutely amazing (tasted like heaven in a cup), but the people working there were the nicest baristas I have ever met. They even helped me pick out a drink since I had never been and had no idea what I wanted to try. On top of that, I got my drink for free because it was my first time. The drive from where I live to Carson takes about 40 or so minutes, but I would definitely make it again just to get coffee here. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked. I honestly wish I could give it more than 5 stars. read more

I've gone through countless stamp cards at this place and have participated in several pay it forwards and every time I go there I get either a small or medium kicker. I've actually have never tried any of their other beverages, I guess it's the whole "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Anyways the last time I came here the kicker I got was terrible!!!! I don't know if a new person made it or what, but it had the cardboard coffee taste and it was missing the smooth foam that it always comes with. In short, my coffee was missing compassion , I ended up just throwing it away. Well, today I went back and got the same coffe as usual and politely asked that someone with experience made it cuz the last one was a dud. I was quickly reminded why I love this place. Not only did they make me an amazing cup, but they also covered the cost of today's cup and didn't give me any attitude about it. Made my day!!! read more

The lines are ALWAYS long but it is worth the time. I love the cold drinks as well. They are building a new store on Highway 50 which should help with the lines. Plus they are very community minded which is nice. read more

Came here after dinner to get some hot chocolate. This is my first time here and have heard great things. I figured the hot chocolate is probably pretty good too, but was greatly disappointed when I received it. Back on the road took a sip of it and found I was drinking warm milk. Hardly any chocolate taste in it at all. I had high hopes for this place so hopefully the coffees are better then the hot chocolate. So my suggestion.... Put some chocolate in your hot chocolate. read more

I went here for the first time today and was very impressed! I usually drink my coffee black and I hate the sugary drinks from starbucks so I wasn't sure what to expect. I tried the Kicker and it was the best I've ever had! Definitely the best service I've ever revieved also! read more

The staff really lays on the friendly, sometimes it's a little much. However, the coffee erases any type of social awkwardness upon the first sip. Hands down the most delicious coffee on this planet. The experience today was the icing on the cake for me. I was kindly greeted by the runner and they took my order. After waiting in line nearly 10 minutes, I was at the window only to be handed.... I don't even know what it was. I then explained what I wanted to the barista pulling shots. Again, I was handed something similar to the first drink. My drink is simple. Americano with ice in a small cup. That's it! I finally just asked for my money back and left. The products and OLD customer service (which includes more than just a smiling face and bubbly personality) at Dutch Bros in Carson City is unrivaled. However, and unfortunately, now the turnover rate of this place has gotten SO high the lines are longer than ever. Moreover, you get a new face every other week in which you also get to explain the drink you have been getting for more than four years. To be clear, I don't blame the new employees for this. I do however wonder if the employees are receiving the same good experience/ treatment we customers enjoy. The turnover rate suggests that it is not. This is sad because these kids are fantastic people and try their best. For the longest time, I would see the same employees at Carson City Dutch Bros for years with the occasional short timer.
