I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this location yet since I had a super awkward experience about a year ago where the barista grabbed my phone and added herself on Instagram... The coffee is more affordable than Sbux and they make an even meaner Americano at Dutch Bros. This is why I go. The problem I have at most Dutch Bros locations is the customer service and cleanliness. The customer service when ordering is incredible but the window experience is always so flippin awkward. This time I was asked if I was in town to hunt. Hmm...no, just wearing camouflage. Usually it seems like the barista wants to ride passenger in my car because of the overpowering need to be likeable but this time it was as if I was inconveniencing them. On cleanliness, I understand there are 100,000 items on the menu but the workstation did not look clean at all. I was in dire need of coffee by the time I hit college station and whipped in to grab some. The girl that took my order was very friendly and helpful when I didn't know what I was doing on the app. Ha ha she showed me how to maneuver through it. The girl at the window was amazing. She made idle chit chat about my car being loaded down and talking about differences between East Texas and west Texas. So I've never been to a Dutch Bros before, so I figured I'd enjoy my 1st coffee of the New Year....big mistake. First off, when I go up to their menu, it shows absolutely ZERO hot coffee options. I don't know about yall, but when I first wake up, I'm looking for a hot cup of coffee, not some cold crap. Then, as I drove up after reluctantly making a decision from the cold coffee menu, there was a cashier person with an iPad taking everyone's orders, kinda Chick-fil-A does. I asked her if they had any hot beverages, which she said they did. She described their most popular hot coffee drink, a Golden Eagle I think? I settled for that because she then was asking me what I like and blah blah blah. I'm sorry but I just woke up, I'm not interested in talking, just give me the dang menu options! I then drive up to the pick up window and encountered another chatty Kathy . At this point I'm thinking "good lord can this experience please be over". The woman at the window just kept talking and wouldn't shut up! I finally turned to her and said "I'm sorry but I just woke up and really don't wana talk". You can call me a grumpy grump if you I want to, I frankly don't care. This whole thing of food businesses that train their employees to either loudly great you upon entering their establishment or being all chatty has to be some of the worst and annoying type of business practices ever! As a chef, when I have my own business, I'm not going to have my employees yell or be all chatty to my guests. They simply need to be polite, helpful, and knowledgeable of our menu and procedures. Anyway, sorry for the rant...the coffee ended up being horrible. Complete waste of five bucks. WILL NEVER GO TO ONE OF THESE PLACES AGAIN! Coffee is over-roasted for my taste and the caffeine content felt juiced up. Starbucks wanna be - and I hate Starbucks. The location I patronize had no seating nor guest restrooms. Only reason for the long lines IMHO was the caffeine content, ala Starbucks. I need more than a corporate infused, mass market beverage. I've been a Dutch customer for years, long before they ever came to college station and have never written a review. But today I had such an awesome experience at this location, it warranted a shout out. Caleb was working the drive thru line taking orders and made a KILLER drink recommendation. He was so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Thank you Caleb for being awesome and if y'all haven't tried a Blackberry, peach, white chocolate rebel, DO IT! I had serious doubts but it's fantastic. When people ask for light ice in their coffee & they put a cup full of ice it's really annoying. I don't pay $6 for a cup of ice with a splash of coffee. I also always get the same 2 things & when I come to this location it's always off compared to the others. This location! read more

This is my second favorite DutchBros location locally- right after the one on wellborn! They never get a single drink wrong, and always double check your order twice. I love this crew- always mood boosters. Definitely worth a stop or two while your in town! read more

Not gonna lie yall, usually I would give Dutch Bros a 5/5 start review but today that's not the case. I LOVE Dutch Bros and I have since the very first one opened in College Station! However within the past couple of months I've had some bad experiences at the place I used to always go to get a pick me up! My pick me ups have tuned into put me downs, where sometimes I leave more sad and disappointed than when I arrived. The once bubbly and loud personalities I loved to experience I've been replaced with dull and lackluster personalities! :( There are just a few workers who have just made the Dutch Bros experience less fun and sometimes I won't even try to hold a conversation when they are at the window. There are a few I could point out that just aren't how they used to be however a specific male employee just makes my trips sad and boring. With the specific employees that make my trips unbearable there are two specific employees I will always have an amazing interaction with and sometimes overstay my welcome at the window because the conversations are just that great! IWhile I have absolutely no hate to the establishment and multitude of beverages/food they offer, I still write this review with the hopes management and staff will perk up and start making Dutch Bros an experience and not just a coffee shop! read more

Dutch Bros is amazing. The employees are very nice and helpful when it comes to suggestions with coffee. I always try to get a recommendation on what to try next. And for the most part it's always been great. Will be going to Dutch Bros for now on. read more

Probably one of the slowest Dutch Bros I've ever been to. It doesn't usually get busy... thank god because it takes just as long to get out of here as the busy locations. Today was one of the worst experiences... I sat in line behind 6 cars. They had no "mafia"(what they call their employees) one customer in the middle of the inside lane got out of his car to go knock on their door to see if they could get people moving so he could leave. At that point 2 team members rushed out and started taking orders. They clearly have the staff to move the line they just never seem to show the initiative. He left without ordering anything. read more

We got a double mocha iced coffee with oat milk (major chocolate) and a caramel freeze. Both were amazing. The staff was nice and helpful when I needed to fix part of my order. I would definitely come again. read more
