I was in the area so I thought I would try "Dutch Bros!" I needed something different other than "Starbucks" so this was my treat after Easter brunch today with the family. I was talking to everyone more than focused on eating. I felt I did not eat very much today so I wanted to have an added treat to try on Easter. I wen through the drive through and ordered a coffee drink to try and also a tea. I ordered the "Dream Weaver" coffee drink and a "Green Tea with Coconut and Pineapple flavors inside. They both were delicious! I also enjoyed the friendliness of the baristas also. They seem to enjoy their job because it shows in their happy attitudes in how they treat their customers. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the items on the menu! Drive thru line can be long but if you park and order at the window, it is a lot faster. I ordered the Golden Eagle with a soft top, iced. It's pretty sweet because of the caramel drizzle, but if you like coffee and desserts, this is the perfect drink for you. read more

We love coming here but our experience today, 7/16 like around 7pm, was disappointing. Before we arrived, I already placed a mobile order. When we got to the pick up window, I added another order, total of 3 drinks. Shortly after, a group of 10 people arrived and placed their orders after us. To our surprise, the staff almost completed all of their orders before ours. When I asked about my mobile order, I was told they were still working on it. After waiting almost about 20 minutes with no update, I had to follow up again. It seemed like the large group's orders were prioritized even though they ordered after we did. However, someone put a in my ear and said these guys make the most amazing Christmas Chai so of course I had to try it. I typically don't like Chai but O-M-G!! Delicious I recommend the Christmas Chai with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top and some kind of cold foam. It was worth the long lines. This is my second time coming to this location and the coffee tastes like milk. I came twice to give it another chance. There is no coffee flavor in the drink and you can tell by the color of it. It's extremely disappointing to be paying $8 for a cup of sweet milk. read more

After talking to a few people I guess I was supposed to ask for all sorts of modifications to make it not taste like just flavored milk. It's just not strong coffee to me. However the customer was great even though it was VERY busy ! Both drive thru and the walk up window were packed. I took away a star simply because the structural set up is an absolute nightmare. The drive thru has two entry ways making it difficult for those that are trying to enter and exit for the walk up. My friends had no complaints about their vanilla latte or pomegranate rebel. Gave this location a chance twice, ordering the same drink (med Iced Tropical Myst) and both times they are absolutely awful! Literally cannot even drink them. So thankful for another Dutch Bros. joining the San Diego region (Oceanside and Escondido are just too far to go for coffee). I have been to this location a number of times and am impressed with how efficient they've become -- their drive-thru line is pretty under control and their staff is quick, helpful and friendly. My drink orders have been pretty consistent with flavor, temperature, and aesthetic. Shoutout to the young lady who suggested I try the iced banana cream pie breve...it was so creamy and yummy (the Annihilator and Golden Eagle are my usual go-to's). Dutch Bros. has an amazing syrup/flavor selection and so many great sugar-free options (as opposed to starbies only offering 1 sugar-free option: vanilla). Hopefully Dutch Bros. will expand closer to central San Diego - driving far north, east and south (Chula Vista just opened one not too long ago) for my Dutch fix is no bueno! I enjoy the taste of a lot and I feel coffee gives me that dopamine hit(: I would say tho, my drink tasted good, however, the day i went, my drink lacked the caffeine element in it and I feel like my drink was just too "white/milky" in color. My son had the blue raspberry lemonade with popping boba and he enjoyed it a lot and in comparison to Starbucks.. Dutch Bros tastes a lot better! I don't have to wait until I'm in Vegas or any other state to get me a Dutch anymore. 5 stars right there. Two lanes full and steady flow moving and the walk up window has a line too. When you got quality from top to bottom you get lines of loyal customers. They use a three blend roast and it's roasted in house so out of their creations the coffee itself is always smooth. They got options when you want to switch it up. Smoothies, energy drinks, protein drinks, boba and others. And if you time it right you might score an elusive Dutch Bro sticker or small fun merch. Oh wait, they also do other fun things like seasonal drinks. Since it's Halloween I went with the Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée freeze. If I was a pumpkin I would've been lit inside. We have had some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced from a barista. The drink I ordered today was completely wrong.. it tasted very bad so I brought it back . My son-in-law took the drink to the window because there was no parking and he asked for a new drink because this one wasn't the one we ordered. The woman was very rude and seemed annoyed with him for requesting a new drink . She refused to replace the drink with the correct order.All she did was add some banana syrup and say OK there you go bye. It still wasn't the 5 shots of espresso. it didn't have the protein milk that I asked for. I am so offended. I think I'm taking a break from Dutch Bros even though I've probably spent over $200 there last month. By far the worst Dutch, when you order ahead you expect to be in and out of the line but the mobile order line was long and everyone was waiting nearly 20 mins just for our coffees to taste HORRIBLE. I did a walk up to the window before heading over to Soapy Joe's for a car wash. I ordered a 16 oz latte and lemon poppy seed muffin top. What happened to the rest of the muffin? I do not know, but I aim to find out. The latte was smooth and good, but it was heavy on the milky side. It was difficult to discern the coffee flavor. I do wish they had a cortado on the menu. The muffin top was great. It was larger than I expected, and at $2.95, it was a pretty good deal. It was soft and moist with a tasty lemony flavor. The young lady at the window at 6:45 am. on the day of this review was great. She was very nice and helpful. The perfect personality for the position. Super friendly and quick service but not sure I understand the hype otherwise. This location just opened and when we got there on a Saturday morning around 9 the drive through line was down the street. We decided to park on the street and just do the walk up window which had about 10 ppl in line but it moved quick. I got the golden eagle iced latte and customized it with nonfat milk (instead of half and half), 1/4 sweet and soft top. I was a little worried about how sweet it would be after hearing so many people mention that the drinks were on the sweeter side. My drink wasn't bad at all. Even the soft top on it's own isn't too sweet. That being said, the overall flavor is fine. It's a very milky drink and doesn't have a strong coffee flavor. It kind of reminded me of Dunkin honestly. The service was great and the person taking our order was very helpful when it came to us deciding which drink to order. We waited less than 10 minutes and were on our way! I absolutely love Dutch Bros back home in Seattle and I was so excited to try it in San Diego. The nearest location besides this is at least a 30 minute drive from me, so I couldn't wait! The drinks are a lot more pricey than I expected but none the less, I still enjoyed my drink. I love their energy drinks and online ordered making it fast and easy. The lines are very long, so I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're in a rush to go somewhere else. There also isn't a lot of parking in the lot, but there is some across the street where you can park and walk over to the counter. The customer service was pretty good, the girl who took my order was very friendly and brought the drinks out fast. This is the first Dutch Bros I've ever been to and I've visited twice so far. Lines are so so long on the weekends. We opted to park somewhere and order in person. No line to order and it only took about 15 mins to get our drinks. I'd say that's the way to go to avoid the line down the street. Second visit was a week day, and they changed their traffic flow to 2 lines so it really helped. Line was not too far into the street. I also ordered on the app ahead of time and opted for drive thru pick up, but it seems you still have to go into the same drive thru line as everyone else- no separate line for pick up. You could opt to pick up at the walk up window as well fyi. Staff was super friendly in the drive thru, gave my dog a treat. I didn't have to wait to be at the front of the line to get my drinks either. The worker decided to pick it up inside and guided me out of the drive thru and parking lot. Now for the drinks. I enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberry latte from their February specials. Mostly tasted chocolate and the strawberry was subtle. This place is in walking distance from my work and of course busy due to being new in the neighborhood. The staff is very upbeat and friendly which I love and very helpful if you have questions. With it being so busy when they notice someone they always check to see what you are waiting for which is great. The drinks I am still figuring out what I like and playing around with sweetness but I got one of their popular espresso drinks where it was extra sweet just so I could get the flavor and it was delicious. So I ordered the shark attack with popping boba. Now it was not the energy one. I liked the color combination and flavors . However it literally tasted like a cherry lemonade nothing special and did not look like the drink in the pic. I also ordered the chocolate chip muffin top which was ok. I was very excited to come try this place to see what the hype was all about and to be honest ....... Its meh. We ordered a golden eagle and a chai latte golden eagle. The golden eagle tasted like some coffee you can get for way cheaper at your local 7/11. Literally filled mostly with milk and no coffee whatsoever. However, the chai latte golden eagle did taste a lot better ! Very sweet chai latte taste with minimal coffee flavor. They do serve pup cups and i gotta say they are the best place for your furry friends to get a nice rewarding treat. The pup cups are free and they even add a little treat and the cup they come in is so cute ! Its pawtastic ! As always the lines are super long ..... very dreadful ! The layout of the lines are very weird, you almost wonder why they would even consider the location to be put there ! It blocks up a local street there , and if i was the neighbors living on that street i would hate living there. Cars are backed up , its a single lane and theres no way to get through the crowd of vehicles. They really do try their best to get control of the traffic situation but it is terrible.
