There aren't that many boba spots in Rancho San Diego so I am happy they opened a Kung Fu Tea here! We visited on a weekend, and had very quick service. The place has a few tables and games, and is very spacious and clean. KFT's drinks are yummy and boba is soft and sweet. I will say their drinks are always SUPER sweet. If you have a sweet tooth, it's perfect, but I usually like my drinks to be not as sweet. I think for me, I would have to order items at the lowest sugar level (0% or 30%). On my last visit, I got the strawberry milk slush at 30% sugar, and it was a touch too sweet for me, BUT still quite delicious. Their menu is huge and they have classic teas, milk teas, milk caps, punch, and more! I'm sure they would have something for everyone.

Slurp slurp .... I like their customizable drinks! Service is always good. My go to drink is the Almond milk tea and decrease the sweetness.

3.5 This place is basically the fast food of boba places, it's still just as expensive, but has the added bonus of being fast and (sometimes) convenient. The ingredients are pretty junky, the only things that make it taste good are the mountains of sugar they pile on (I guess it works). The boba itself is flavorless, and the workers don't really hate nor like you. DO NOT get any drink that has milk in its name, it means that all the drink is was milk, sugar, and flavorings (strawberry flavoring for strawberry milk tea etc...). This place is very trendy, expect teenagers and whatnot. They do offer free board games and Wi-Fi. This place allows a ton of customization, and they even have oat milk and lactose free milk substitutes (and show what drinks don't have caffeine on the menu). The fruit teas are decent, but you should mostly go here for their milk strike series. There's another place ~2 minutes away from here called Vanitea, that uses fresh and higher quality ingredients, bigger portions, all for almost half the price as this place, go there instead.

Another Kung Fu Tea location right here in Rancho Towne Center which is kinda far away, but it's here within the radius of all other stores, turns out it was convenient to get some boba tea originally from New York. Definitely cheaper price for a large size plus boba added for 75 cents. Though the taste still not strong enough for tea, I need them to step up their game a little bit, this chains do have a rewards program so be sure to sign up and earn points for your drink. Their bathroom is cleaned and didn't require any codes to open the lock.

Ordered the mango green tea with jelly AND added aloe, 0% and light ice. My drink was perfect!!!

Walked in after seeing the $4 Punch special on their window. It said the special was available from "opening until 3 p.m." and because we just so happened to be in the area after lunch, it sounded like a perfect post lunch option. The inside is nicely decorated with wall murals to allow for the perfect instagram post! ;-) We ordered the Passion Fruit Green Tea and the Guava Punch- added some mango popping bubbles for an xtra $0.95 per drink and they were very generous with the scoop so it was worth it. The Guava was very much a lot on the sweet side but the passion fruit tea was a bit less sweet and I enjoyed the green tea taste in it. At $4 for these large-sized drinks, it was worth every penny! Can't wait to go back and try different options.

I stopped in this new Kung Fu Tea in Rancho San Diego. I normally go or a regular black milk tea or the brown sugar milk tea, but this time around I went for the Coconut Milk Tea, which was a first for me. After I ordered the milk tea, I waited for about 20 minutes, but when I approached the counter, apparently someone had walked off with it, so they had to make me another. The coconut milk tea was good. The coconut flavor was definitely up front and center. It was not as milky as I would of liked or have had from them in the past. Nevertheless, it was a tasty beverage. The place offers a good amount of seating inside. Customer service was friendly.

So I put no ice and got even less than last time literally like $1.25dollars of product missing. I know if the workers don't make their own drinks like this. Robbing people at this location. All other locations are reasonable with the "no ice" gap. Not here though

SO GLAD THIS IS OPEN NOW!!! There are so many new menu items since the last time I went to a Kung-Fu Tea a year ago. Still new servers here, but always supportive of teens working!!! I got the Guava Black Tea with 50% sweetness, crystal boba, and it is super guava-y and delicious! Will definitely come back and try new items!!!

The snow bubble drink is the consistency of a shaved ice with milk. You can choose from quite a few milks like whole, coconut, oat, and more. They also have a happy hour when you can get discounted drinks which makes it a really good deal. So far all of the cashiers have been friendly and super helpful when I ask them questions. Compared to the name of the spot, the interior felt like it belonged to a night time sushi spot. I'm not sure if they are allowed to repaint the interior, but changing the black/dark blue walls to something more bright would open up the space a little more-- it is a small place, but felt even smaller with the design choice. The menu was organized, but it seems like they were out of a few items in the morning as they didn't have mini pearls--only regular. And for some reason, you couldn't change the sweetness level on the drink...or maybe it just related to the drink I chose? Not sure, it was my first time there. The worker was nice & patient. Although for not having many people in the shop, I hope they could take the time to perfect their boba. It was VERY clumpy and not good-- texturally and taste wise. It didn't have that rich brown sugar taste and it was very gooey and chewy (not in a good way). They did give a good amount of boba, but I feel most people would toss it out because of the bad quality. Which would be a waste of money. To drink, I chose the Hokkaido Milk Tea with Pearls. I wanted to do 50 or 75% sweet but I guess since this is a caramel noted milk tea, it isn't possible. I think the tea was ok. I would order something else next time. My friend had the Okinawa Milk Tea with Pearls, I'm unsure if they asked for a certain sweetness level or not. They said the tea was good, but the pearls weren't good. Something to note, I charged the drinks on my card and rather than saying Sayaka Tea, it said Sharetea...interesting. I wonder if they rebranded themselves or ?? Each drinks were around ~$7-8 ish! I'll give them another try, I hope the boba will be better the next time around and I'll be allowed to change the sweetness. If not, I'll be heading a little further down the street as this tea spot may not be for me!

Matcha "smoothie"- came with an open lid so I wasn't able to shake up the warm boba at the bottom, shortly after getting home from the Boba Tea Spot I noticed the slush in my drink was completely separated from the flavoring they used which has never happen to me. (Shown in picture) wasn't able to enjoy it any longer. Half the drink was wasted. The tapioca boba was also a little off tasting, almost like a plastic taste. We also ordered the Taro milk tea and that was absolutely delicious aside from the boba taste. It wasn't too sweet so it hit just right! The plaza can get busy depending on the time of day, so parking might take a minute, but it's usually manageable. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. I ordered the Kung Fu Green Milk Tea with boba at 75% sweetness and my partner ordered the Oreo slush. The staff were friendly and the transaction was smooth. They also offer a rewards system linked to your phone number, which is always nice if you come often. Seating here is interesting. There are traditional tables and chairs, but they also have an elevated floor seating area with cushions. It's a pretty large space and I'm curious to see it when the store is busy because it's a unique setup for a boba shop. There is also games provided if you are looking to hang out here with some friends. They also provide free Wi-FI. The real standout here is the boba. It's never mushy or bland. It has that perfect bounce and a rich honey flavor that makes it different from other places. I've heard they produce their own boba, which might explain the consistency. The boba itself is sweet, I recommend lowering your sugar level if you don't like overly sweet drinks. The green milk tea was creamy with clear green tea notes that came through without being overpowering. The Oreo slush was exactly what you'd expect, a classic cookies and cream flavor that was smooth and sweet. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.
