Dutch brothers has one of the best coffees hands down! I usually order and iced kicker and it never disappoints. There is always a long line but they have people outside who take orders to help move along the traffic. Comparing this location to other Dutch Bros locations, this one might be my least favorite of all the ones I've visit. Which was super unfortunate when this Dutch Bros used to be the one on my way to work. I usually felt like the staff here had more of a snooty attitude compared to other locations that seem more welcoming. Wow. The annihilator is INCREDIBLE. It's like drinking caffeine flavored bliss with all the sugar you can handle. It makes the caramel macchiato at Starbucks taste like dirty mush. For real. Before I started going to this Dutch Brothers I was only a casual morning coffee purchaser... Three times a month I would splurge... To cheap to buy coffee everyday. I visited them opening week and Josh, Bree and Jasmine have won me over to a five to six days a week regular. I am pretty sure they are the busiest morning Dutch Bros. in Phoenix and the people are the difference. I love the Salted Carmel Lattee but it was way to sweet to drink every morning. Jasmine suggested I try a skinny... But I missed the chocolate milk. So now I get a Skinny Salted Carmel, 2/3 fat free milk, 1/3 chocolate, no whip cream. But I just get a large Brian. What is great is that when a co-worker offers to buy me a drink, they can ask for a Brian and the drink is always right, whether I am there to purchase or not! Why do I share all this? Because I am offended that someone would write in a review that they are only nice for tips, so far from the truth! Like I said before, I go everyday and I am cheap (tip maybe twice a week), and I have always been treated really well there. Alright, as a level 10 caffeine addict, I have tried coffee shops all across town and of them all, Dutch Brothers easily has the best espresso. It's never burnt (ahem, Starbucks I'm looking at you) and it comes with a brilliant rush that I float on for quite a while. It's absolutely refreshing during the summer too. Of the few Dutch Brothers I've been to, this is the only one that always seem to get my drink right, no matter how it's worded (don't worry, that other location will get a review too). However, I'd like to mention that as a socially-awkward person, I avoid Dutch Brothers on many occasions because of the over-friendly staff. I know it's part of their job and I've been informed that they are sent home if they aren't friendly enough, but not everyone is into talking about what they're doing during the upcoming weekend on a Monday morning. I see a lot of people enjoy this and I'm glad their friendliness is effective, but I'm not a fan. If you've ever been forced to revive the dead carcass of a conversation, you know the stench and decide it's better just to plug your nose and keep going. However, this location generally seems to pick up that I'm awkward and leave me be, and because of that I prefer buying my delicious beverage here when I decide I can handle the onslaught of ten people synched together through a caffeine rush. read more

I used to get dutch brothers coffee when I lived in Oregon, and I was ecstatic when I heard they were opening a new location right near my apartment and on my route to work! I'm a classic kind of girl, so I go for the brewed coffee with cream, and the original dutch coffee brew if exactly what I need in the morning (and any time of day actually ;) ) The coffee is smooth and tasty, never burnt or bitter. And somehow always exactly the right temperature. This location gets really busy in the morning, but luckily they move pretty quickly and usually offer extra stamps on your stamp card if there's a really long wait. There was a long wait Friday morning and they gave me 4 stamps instead of one for my drink! Awesome! I also really like how the tax is already included in the prices. That just makes it easier to prepare my money in the car before I get to the window. This location offers walk-up or drive through, which is convenient, and the employees are super friendly and remember you. read more

I love Dutch Bros coffee. The special thing about this place is their Secret Menu. Google it. There's a bunch of other great stuff on there in addition to their already-solid offerings on their base menu. Would recommend coming back here. Only suggestion, and this probably goes more to DoorDash than Dutch Bros, but DoorDash does NOT offer the secret menu options which means I still have to drive to Dutch Bros. Not that I'm fully against driving to Dutch Bros, but anyone who has ever been knows that DB gets packed very quickly around any time around the day. Drive thru line is always long, however with the fantastic service and the quick yet quality product it moves very quickly. If you need a true pick me up try the 911 or a quad shot iced coffee. Either packs a TON of caffeine and is a great start to a morning. Be sure to grab a punch card, every tenth drink is free, with the cost of coffee this may be the best promotion in town. Just a heads up, last time the girl gave me the check-out phone and just said "I just need a signature and you're all set!" And when she handed over the phone, it was already on the 2nd screen ready for me to sign. However, there was a $1 tip already put on when given to me. I went back to the 1st screen and removed the tip, signed, and didn't mention it. I'm hoping it was just an accident, but if it happens again I'll make a bigger deal about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against tipping and will usually throw whatever change I get in their jar. But taking it without my consent is pretty scummy. This location is the worst in all of AZ. Longest and slowest line, no one ever out tanning orders. I witnessed the girl scoop ice off the counter into my cup with her bare hand then when I asked for a new drink they argued and said she didn't do it when I literally watched her. The drinks were subpar, kids cup filled 2/3 then I asked why and she said it's for the ice. The cup already had ice in it so I assume they only filled it half with actual liquid. Went to a nearby drive thru location. I was brand new to this coffee chain & still learning about it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I told the sweet girl that was there that I've never been there before & she quickly introduced herself & the other 2 guys there. She also gave me a paper to fill out to get specials via email. Then she gave me a punch (stamp) card that was almost completely stamped. Love that they offer the cards, especially when times are tough and you don't see that very much anymore at coffee places. (2011) We've moved since I wrote the above comments & we still go back there to get our coffee. They remember us & our drink every time! They are well worth the drive. Had a negative experience turned into a great one by this Dutch Bros!! We had someone cut into the drive through line with their vehicle, willing to hit my Jeep to cut in! After the girl taking our order realized what happened she paid for both drinks we ordered! First time in Gilbert, on the way home from a Hazmat endorsement. Wife heard the place was top shelf, so we strolled up to the walk-in window, and she was right! Young Milennials, but they were helpful and knowledge, ultra-friendly like they really cared. Wife got something sugar free and I got a zombie or something, their recommendation. Caramelizers, Pocahontas', and Snickers' oh my! Ask about the secret menu. This is my favorite location as a die hard DB drinker. They churn people through the drive thru with a quickness, only use the walk up if the line is bonkers and few in line. Otherwise drive thru always faster! I love the coffee, this location is pretty great. at most of the other locations it is faster to go through the drive thru (even though there are 15 cars) than it is to walk up. Not this location walk up seems to be faster.
