Staff is far more interested in chatting with their friends in line than actually taking orders. They blast the music so loud they can't hear orders correctly so they make them wrong consistently. This is the only location I have been to that can't do their jobs correctly. The manager should be let go and the company should try again. Chatting with your friend for 10 minutes in line, then messing up the actual customer's order, then laughing about it is just pathetic read more

Emma is the best!!! The whole crew here is amazing!!! Saw some very rude customers in front of me and their attitudes towards the worker in line was disgusting. If I good give zero stores I would. This has to be the absolute worst Dutch in Gilbert. This is the only location that I have continued issues with. They don't care about your quality of your beverage and they don't even care to have correct information when you're ordering. I continue to give them opportunities to prove that they're better and every time I go, I am once again disappointed and regretful of spending my money at this location. I worked in the coffee business for 30 years and the fact that this location knows of these issues and still continues to not get their employees to become better not only at their craft, but also at engaging with customers. It's not an issue that I have to pay extra for something. The issue is that I continue to pay extra for something and continue to not get what I asked for even when brought up in person saying it's not what I want. Any other location I ask for extra cold foam I was taught by other employees at different locations to ask for five times extra foam for the amount that I want which in reality is literally from the first line right above the D on Dutch Bros on the cup. At every location, they give it to me perfectly now when I come here, they will charge me for it and hardly give me anything and today they tried today tell me that the max that they could give me was three times I didn't want to sit there and argue with them that that has never been told to me before so I said fine then they give my drink and I am posting a picture to show you and see if someone at Dutch Bros can answer me insane does this even look like the normal amount that you would put without even asking for extra? Because I literally have hardly any. So once again anybody that has an opportunity to go to any other Dutch Bros, I suggest you do and do not waste your money at this location because they seriously don't care about your beverage and they don't care about you as a customer. read more

I'm not a hater but I do like variety so I love the fact that Phoenix has more than one choice of coffee shops outside of "the monopoly". This place is clearly a starter job for children who have no sense of responsibility, but want to talk my ear off about how my day is going when I'm in the mood to do so the real problem is their lack of attention to detail which they gladly sacrifice to speed the drive-through through. I wanted a nice drink to start my Sunday off because I was having a difficult weekend. Ordered it through the drive-through no problem didn't have to listen to anyone at the window and sincerely talk my ear off and ask about my day which is annoying and a policy. I think Dutch Bros should stop or at least teach people how to read when people want to hear that nonsense or not. I just wanted my coffee which happened because the drive-through was busy and they had someone outside the window ordering and delivering drinks as I pulled away, lifted up the coffee by the middle of the cup, which I always do went to drink it. It spilled all over the inside of my brand new vehicle as well as my clothes because the carelessly did not put the top on securely Because they were likely trying to speed through getting drinks out. I walked up to the window, clearly displaying what had happened explaining to the people inside that little box who looked at me as if I was crazy and the question the girl asked was "oh do you want a napkin?" Seriously?! A napkin I said no a napkin won't cut it. Explain to her what happened and she brought me back a napkin, actually three napkins, I want to give her credit for that at the very least, with maybe three drops of water on it and then she asked if I wanted a new top I said no thank you and walked away. I will never come to the Dutch Bros again. This is my second bad experience here and I would advise anyone else that is thinking of it. There are other Dutch Brothers locations one just down Higley Road near the freeway, which always pays close attention to your order and your needs and has people working there over the age of 12. I love Dutch Bros and every time I'm in an area and see one I've never been I try and stop. This location is newer (four years or so) and the area is pretty nice with easy access to the freeway. Drive thru lanes are somewhat long so it helps not block traffic. Today was pretty busy, but we were on and out in under ten minutes. Cold brew is my go to and though I'm bummed they quite selling hwc. Its flavor is pretty good plain so no complaints. Add a bit of vanilla and it makes it even better. read more

I wonder what happened that after being open for several years now this place had it's Yelp page pulled and rebuilt. Strange, but maybe they had to close for a bit due to Covid or construction I guess. Anyway, don't let the fact that this place only has a few reviews fool you. They have been there for a long time, as I mentioned. The coffee is banging, and they haven't messed up one of my orders yet. The kids working there are always perky, and the location is one of the easiest ones to get in and out of without getting hit that I've come across. I've gotten plenty of flack from my first review for being a "karen" or a real stick in the mud, but I invite all of those people to hang out in that parking lot for a week to see what we deal with. In any case, I'd like to give credit where credit is due. The franchise operator has reached out to my me and my neighbors and has been working diligently to improve the situation. He even came at a moment's notice and helped trespass some teenagers who were engaging in unsafe driving in the lot. The workers are nice 99% of the time and welcome you amazingly. However, I have never been through a slower dutch line. Dutch is and has always been a high volume spot, so long lines and wait times are nothing new. But i kid you not when I say, I have been in this drive thru before with only one car in front of me at the window, and I still waited 15 minutes to get to the window. Now imagine the wait when it's busy. It's a bit ridiculous. I worked in customer service so last thing I like doing is judging based off a couple of different factors, but the wait time is awful. Not sure if it's a staffing issue or overboard conversations happening. Not the place to go if you're on a time crunch. But at least the people are nice. read more

It was my first time visiting this location, I have recently switched from Starbucks to Dutch Brothers, just because of the customer service alone. I've had great service up until now, today was a game changer for me. I was having a very rough day, and kind of just stuck in a rut for lack of a better explication. Upon arriving, everyone was very nice but the cashier who checked me out was beyond sweet, and really turned my day around. I am pleased to know that this location is the closest to me, and I will be visiting here regularly for the positive energy. I love their drinks and the staff is so nice, but don't go here if you don't have at least half an hour to sit in line. They always take forever talking and stuff up at the window. I came with only about 4 cars in front of me and was in line for 35 minutes. It's hard to go into places to get a drink because I've got a young baby so I thought this would be ideal but it's hardly worth it. Then half the time by the time I get my drink they had already made it a while ago when the order was first taken so the ice is melted and it ruins the drink. I have observed at the window and most of the staff is just kind of wondering around even when they have 15 or 20 cars in the line. Has great hot chocolate, rebels that can either be blended and iced(Dino egg was my favorite), water is always nice from there since their cups are giant! I had their sparkling soda ones and really liked the outcome. A place where you have to be specific about No caffeine and No tea, they will work with you and provide you with something incredibly good! I will one day try the smoothies! It took almost 40 minutes for me to get to the window from the time I entered the drive thru. Which entering the drive thru alone was a literal nightmare because your cones come out do far that it directly clashes with people trying to exit. As if that wasn't aggravating enough the person at the window didn't even seem to be happy or give a single care to greet or be friendly. I have lived in the area for two years and live at Blackrock because this Dutch Bros for some reason is one of the busiest and slowest. It took me 42 minutes from entering the line to receiving my drink. The employees talk way too long to friends at the drive through window. I witnessed one car 3 drinks at the window for 4 minutes after receiving their last drink. If you leave early 30 minutes for a coffee at this Dutch bros, better make it at least an hour. Some girls car broke down in the drive way. Caused everyone to have to back out of the driveway. I know things happen so I'm not complaining about that. What I am complaining about is how when they got the car restarted and going, they did not communicate with the customers that already PAID. People who just got to Dutch started driving into the drive way and that cause me ( I paid already) to have to wait behind a whole bunch of new customers that drove up at that time. hi there. left the line tonight (7/12) @ 7:19 pm. scooby snack rebel, check xenial you'll see me checking in with the app to get my points. wait wasn't terrible, we saw 3 people on shift so we get it. the red headed girl was outside line busting and you had 2 other gals (one with dark brunette hair with lighter bangs and dirty blonde hair). 1. linebuster walked up and didn't ask how we were just face down and "what can i get you". disappointing but also, when you're stressed and honestly probably new a long line is anxiety inducing especially in this heat with these customers 2. rolled up to the window and no one was there. no hello, no hi guys! we proceeded to be up at the window for maybe 3 minutes and up until the drink was done did we get "hey, did you guys get the scooby snack rebel? okay, have a good night" we all know there's something wrong here obviously especially the upper management reading this. maybe talk about the wiseman building blocks when you talk to them about this? 3. they both walked by the window a few times before having the drink ready, at least 1 made eye contact with us. no acknowledgment until it was time to give us our drink and even that was a sorry sight. and not to mention the comments about how someone kept calling their apple watch? something, but seemingly bothered by something else rather then the paying customers at the window. listen, i get it. i really do. maybe staff your pms better? maybe talk to them? maybe have the creed next to the window or a "culture" meeting or have the leads talk about talking at the window during the preshift. it's your choice but just know its noticed and it is repelling especially coming from someone with experience. i've been there and i have stepped away but at least a "hi, we'll be right with you!" or a "thank you for ya patience, is this that drink for you?" read more
