Why I enjoy Starbucks as it's standard across the country, and you know what you are getting. - Blueberry Muffin: decent and was what I've been craving this week. I felt ill with a stomach ache after ordering a drink from here. At the bottom of my drink, matcha frap with honey packets I found things floating in it, not to realize they are careless, and when they cut the honey packets open they dropped it in my drink blended it and found plastic parts of the packet floating in my drink wtf! I've been a loyal customer at this Starbucks on Ellsworth, swinging by every morning for my mobile order before work. It used to be a smooth, friendly experience--grab my coffee, wave at the smiling face at the window, and go about my day. But that's all changed since they put Stephanie in the drive-thru. Now, instead of a cheerful start to my morning, I'm met with curt responses and what feels like forced service. But today, they really took it to another level. I ordered my usual three drinks, and instead of handing them over, I was asked to pull aside like I'm in a McDonald's drive-thru waiting for a Happy Meal. Three drinks. Which is not an issue. The issue was the attitude given with the eye roll that really caught me off guard. I even stopped and said really. She came back with ya really. Ten minutes later, I'm still sitting there, drinkless and annoyed. Thankfully, Michael--an absolute gem--finally brought them out, but the delay had already thrown off my morning. Honestly, I'm done with this location. I'm sure losing my one coffee a day won't shake their bottom line, but for anyone else looking to start their day on a good note, beware of Stephanie and her lack of customer service skills. I really do not like this Starbucks location. The drive thru line backs up into the parking lot and people drive up and try to cut the line. There are really no parking places at the Starbucks location because if you do park, you'll come out to your car and you'll be blocked in due to the drive thru. It's easier to park at the nearby Albertsons and walk over. I came here once a year ago and it was such a nightmare, I hadn't been back except for this week. I only came here because I was looking for specific Starbucks cup and all the other nearby locations didn't have it - this location miraculously had this cup I was looking for. Don't waste your time here, terrible service. I have been a regular at this location for the past several months and have seen it steadily decline in service. I usually order ahead and pick up in the drive through. The wait time has increased to almost 10 minutes waiting with only two cars in line. They also short you on your cup size, (substitute a grande for a venti) and when questioned they say it's the new size of cup. I call BS on that. I usually go to Starbucks near my house on Signal Butte but was closer to this location. I'm extremely lactose intolerant. I ordered Carmel Crunch with oat milk and trusted it would be oat milk. My mistake. I never checked. I was in extreme pain from drinking milk as it wasn't oat milk. Please if your lactose check. This young man wearing tie dyed Halloween costume appeared new or unsure. This has been my neighborhood Starbucks ever since it was built. Unfortunately I have seen the service go way down in the last six months. The drive thru lines are absolutely ridiculous, and getting worse every day it seems. This morning we were stuck waiting in the drive thru line for almost 25 minutes. The past two times I've been, they did not flavor the drinks properly. In fact one tasted like the milk was sour and was undrinkable. Avoid this location! Very sad. read more

I placed a mobile order 15 mins ahead of time when it said 4-7 minutes of prep time. I dropped off a package to UPS in the same shopping area first, and still had to wait 15+ in the drive through. All of that would have been fine IF they would have made my order correctly. So frustrating to drive 10 mins down the road to realize that they didn't make my order right at all. - There's like 5 other Starbucks in the area, I'll choose any of those before I go back to this one. read more

This has got to be the worst Starbucks in the area. I hadn't been in a couple years after getting tired of ordering my drink "stirred" and getting it with all the syrup just sitting at the bottom of the cup. They seriously suck at making coffee here. I went today pulling up to an empty drive thru to sit there for 5 minutes before anyone even took my order. Guess what it looked just as I suspected and not how I ordered. When I tell them I hate to be that person but can you please remake my drink. They ALWAYS cop an attitude about it every time! So she tells me to pull aside and I said no I'm going to wait here. So they took my drink out of sight and I'm sure took they whip off, mixed it up, added whip back and gave it to me at which point the drink is then watered down and not enjoyable. I was so irritated I just left. Nothing but poor attitudes and poor baristas at this location. Also what's up with the ice you guys are using? It's like tiny little pieces and not cubes like the other Starbucks. You'd be better off going into bashas and getting it from the Starbucks in there. They are soooooooo slow. You will wait in the drive through for a good 15 mins when it's busy. I moved here from Seattle so maybe my expectations are high, but all the Starbucks there whip through the lines. A long line never deferred me because they move so fast. This Starbucks is conveniently located in the Albertsons shopping center. I usually frequent this one because of its quick drive thru line and nice staff. But be prepared during certain parts of the day since the lines get pretty long and wrap around and block parking for the teriyaki bowl place two doors down. Probably the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Water in drive thru line maybe 20 minutes. They messed up my drink the first time and then asked if maybe I wanted it poured into a larger cup. They remade it and still forgot to add milk. I went inside to get the cream to add myself and they didn't want to give me any. When I finally added it and went on my way I took a drink and it still wasn't right. After waiting that long to get a cup of coffee I ended up throwing it out and making a cup at home. Don't go to this location they are way too understaffed and it seems like most employees are just trying to get their the day so it is definitely bad management to blame! read more

Ordered my drinks without whip and they only took it off one out of the four. Had to bring two of my drinks back because it was basically just water and Java chips. The remake was just as bad as the original. This is the worst Starbucks on this side of town. Only thing they have going for them is the fact they have a drive through. I go to this location 2 to 3 times a week but was extremely disappointed today when I brought my grandmother today for a treat. We ordered 2 drinks a nitro cold brew with caramel foam and an iced caramel macchiato with a slice of warmed up banana bread. I tried to order the brown sugar and oat mild espresso but they were out of brown sugar so I settled for cold brew. The cold brew was a good 2-3 inches from the top of the cup leaving plenty of room to spare, the caramel macchiato looked like there was no espresso in it..Just white cream and caramel, and the banana bread was cold. Typically they do a great job here and are super friendly but today I just feel like I wasted my money. Hoping they didn't get new management or staff because I'd hate to see this continue. read more

I'm happy that the only stand alone location within a few miles has a great staff, even if it gets pretty crowded (especially on Sunday's) it doesn't take long to get your drink. That being said, I usually do a mobile order when I'm about a half mile away, and it's always ready for me. Best thing is, so far they haven't made any mistakes, and always spell my name correctly! This Starbucks location is awful! I go to this location often and the service gets worse and worse every time I go. The drive thru is so slow and takes forever. I always order my drink on the app for pick up in the store and about 70% of the time it's not done at the time it's supposed to be and I have to wait for my drink to be made even though I ordered it 10+ minutes before. Today my drink was supposed to be done at 5:53 I showed up to the store at that time and it wasn't made. There was already another customer waiting for her drink when I arrived. There were 4 employees working and they all were just moving around doing nothing! Nobody ever acknowledged me and asked if I was waiting for a mobile order or asked my name so they could start making my drink. I waited 10+ minutes for my drink before I just left without my drink as I was going to be late for work. The entire time I was waiting only 1 drink was made and given out to somebody in the drive thru lane. Needless to say I won't be back and will find another coffee location that has better service. read more

Today I ordered a tall hot latte with whole milk, peppermint, extra shot of espresso and extra foam. It came out perfect. The young guy making it even drew a leaf in the foam. It's that creamy foam that I rarely get at Starbucks. It seems to be so rare to get a quality hot latte at any Starbucks. I wish Starbucks would train all of their employees to hold to higher standards. Places like Libert Market, Cartel Coffee Lab and Peixoto hold that high standard of consistent quality hot espresso drinks regardless of who makes it. read more

Its baffling to me how such simple requests can be completely disregarded by people in a customer service role. They wouldnt allow us to use our reusable cups because of COVID so I asked them to put drinks into paper cups with no lids to eliminate the plastic waste. One coffee made it into a paper cup but with a plastic lid; the other coffee was made in a plastic cup.. instead of apologizing for messing up the order, they simply threw the lid away and poured the plastic cup coffee in a paper cup, doubling the amount of waste... this location has also taken my reusable cup, made the coffee in their plastic cups, and then poured it into my reusable cup. This is so unacceptable and inconsiderate to those trying to minimize their footprint. Will not go here, will not recommend since staff cant accommodate very simple requests. read more
