While driving home from Disneyland last week, I was craving Dutch Bros and found the closest one located in Los Banos! I usually order the Mistletoe Rebel which is my current Holiday favorite, but I went with the Dinosaur Egg Rebel during this visit and it did not disappoint! It kept me wired for the rest of our drive home. Not much to say that is different from any other location. The line wasn't too long at this location and moved fairly quickly. We ordered at the drive-thru so I cannot comment on the ambiance, but staff was very nice and chatted us up at the window while we waited for our drinks! Dutch Bros! this iconic chain is in a small town that many people will frequent on their way to other places. The coffee shop is drive through only - same as most other locations. I got the golden eagle with less sugar. It was pretty good and pretty strong too - would definitely recommend if you like strong coffee drinks that are sweet, but don't have too many other flavorings. I really wanted to like this chain but in the past week I tried a few different things that were just not good coffee drinks. The americano is incredibly watered down so I'm assuming they may only use one shot of espresso no matter the size? Typically anytime I've gotten coffee anywhere there's more shots to compensate for the size. The sizes are also really big! I have to start this review off and say that I totally wish they had locations in the Bay Area closer to the Peninsula! I have seen many posts from friends on social media and this time on our way to Fresno, we noticed this location on the 152! We couldn't miss the opportunity to try it. This location is really busy because of where it is situated on the 152, however, there is both a drive thru and walk up service and they get through orders pretty quick for the amount of traffic they have coming their way. Staff was friendly and drinks were out quick. We opted for a couple of their favorites, the Golden Eagle (Vanilla and Caramel Breve with a drizzle of Caramel) and their Annihilator (Chocolate Macadamia Nut Breve). They were delicious and satisfied the need for caffeine on a hot ass day! (Temp was 104 this day). Overall, we were very satisfied and will make this a normal stop on future trips out this way! Do not come here if you value your time. A complete cluster F at this particular location. SLOWEST moving line at any Dutch Brothers I've been to, from California to Arizona. On a Sunday morning, I got in line at 11:46 a.m. and literally did not get to the window until 12:06 p.m., in 102 degree heat. When I told the person at the window this was the worst Dutch Brothers experience I've ever had, with literally the slowest moving lines I've ever experienced throughout any location I've been to, she was condescending and responded that they have really long lines and that people called in sick. I said every location I've been to has really long lines, but you guys are moving at a snail pace, literally. I was watching them make drinks and they couldn't have moved any slower, like people moving in slow motion. 0 sense of urgency that customers could be waiting upwards of 20 minutes plus in 102 degree heat. This location can learn from the other locations I've been through from California to Arizona, that actually care about their customer's time and make the line move -- no matter how crazy long the lines are. My good friend and I were in Los Banos to pick up a car, and I NEEDED coffee. I thankfully remembered the last time I was in this neck of the woods and remembered I had tried Dutch Bros Coffee. I wanted MOAAAAAARRRR. Saw this on my way to SoCal and decided to check out what all the excitement is about. The menu isn't large, but a variety that's not your typical cafe drinks. You have no idea how ecstatic I was when I caught wind we were getting our very own DB!!!!! I waited with bated breath at every update as they were building it. A year before we heard we were getting one I actually emailed corporate to suggest we get one as it would do well with all the passing through traffic. So I won't take credit but yenno *pops collar*. So our go to is from their secret menu: Bob Marley Breve with extra Bob (banana..lol) and I get mine as a medium with Xtra ice so they put it in a bigger cup. This can also come as a mocha with chocolate and caramel drizzle and whipped cream if you in a YOLO kinda mood. Another one I like is their Annihilator..only don't drink after 5pm or you'll be laid up in bed at 1PM trying to fall asleep..ha! Not in the mood for coffee? They also have teas and energy drink based options. Want a pastry to go with it? No problem they offer muffin tops..no not the bad kind (ladies and some of you men know what I mean and if you don't..bite me..lol) and granola. This place has 2 lanes and their employees stand out there handling both lanes and then other employees will walk your order to your car to which you can then pull out of line instead of waiting to get to the window. So efficient!!!! Everyone I have encountered is super friendly and tips are not mandatory but come on folks tip em...especially in this heat. I do have one request and that is possibly installing some tents with industrial fans and/or water misters for those poor employees standing in the heat. I saw them do it at the Manteca Chick-fil-a. That reminds me....I need to write to Chick-fil-a corporate and speak it into existence . The dude and I Rolled through Dutch Bros Los Bonos on 05/31/21 as we were on our way home from visiting the dudes family in the Bay Area. The line wasn't that long as they had two lines going and multiple workers taking orders! It went pretty quick. I'm picky with my drinks and the dude usually gets the Pitch Perfect Coffee drink which he said was very tasty! I usually get the milkshake NO Coffee drink usually with almond milk. I ended up getting the Chai Frozen drink made with Almond milk. To try something different. It was alright. Probably due to the ice it was mostly watered down :/ I wouldn't get it again. Two workers during the evening rush is just not enough, particularly since I watched multiple people leave the drive-thru or straight up walk away from the window when they learned how long the wait would be. Super surprised to find out they have non-dairy options, however I have a feeling they made my drink with regular milk so definitely check to see if it's non-dairy. My first impression was, wow Dutch bros makes their coffees insanely sweet. If you're not a fan of sweet coffee definitely mention that to the person taking your order so they know not to make it sweet, cause as I was drinking my coffee, I could feel the 40g of sugar flow right through me. Super addicting, the golden eagle is like your favorite vanilla latte from your local coffee shop with streaks of caramel. The caramel streaks are amazing in this, which is why I highly recommend this specific drink. I wish there was a Dutch bros in my area but I got to try this place twice on my trip to NorCal. The rebel energy drinks are good. You can get it iced which makes it a carbonated drink or blended, so it's more of an energy slush drink. I like the iced version better because I enjoy the carbonation. I had the electric berry which is blue raspberry and lime. Definitely check their menu online or on the app there's many different flavor mixes. I had the picture perfect Dutch freeze as well. The service was painfully slow, disorganized, and the staff appeared to lack even the most basic understanding of time management or customer service. The past three times hasn't been so great but that's not why I have to decrease my rating. I always order for times soft top. This last time I ordered isn't even one equivalency of soft top. Why am I paying all this extra money and not getting what I paid for. I ordered a small and a medium cup with four soft top. Normally when that happens the cup is full at other Dutch bro shops and it used to be like that at this one a couple years back, but now they just rip you off. The time before that I wanted to redeem my points because they were expiring in three days and I asked her four times making sure my points were redeemed and she said they were. I've been coming here so many times that I always forget to write a review. My review is based on my overall experience. I've been here both in the mornings and afternoons. Afternoons are more busier. He Who Must Not Be Named is close by and that place is always busy in the mornings. So I'm really glad that I can come here and be able to get my drink in a quickness. Majority of the time I've gotten their cold drinks which I love. The obvious favorite is the Annihilator. I recently have been getting their hot drinks. I have to say I really like it. I've been trying their featured drinks. I've had their Cinnamon Swirl Oat Milk latte and the Hazelnut Truffle Mocha. Both are delish! For those who have followed me on Yelp over the years, you'll know that Dutch Bros is my favorite coffee in the entire world! Even more than Starbucks! I lived in the same city as a Dutch Bros a few years ago and I was hooked! Now that I live in San Diego, it's rare that I get my DB fix. This Dutch Bros in Los Banos is new and opened just this past month. It was a lot further from the 5 freeway exit than I thought. This location is drive-thru only as is most DB locations. My go-to drink is a Ninja Turtle Mocha. It's made with espresso, chocolate milk, green mint syrup and chocolate syrup I believe. It is soooo delicious!! Think of an elevated mint chocolate milk! I asked if they had stickers but the employee told me they only have stickers on Tuesdays. I dragged my friend here and I was sooo happy to finally get a Ninja Turtle again! Sooo yummy! Locals rule and this is not your average corporate coffee shop. Dutch bros cuts back on the frills of a coffee shop but brings it with unique flavors for your morning cup. There are sugar and flavor laden options that will give you a pause the first time you see the menu because everything is so different from the run of the mill coffee shop selections. I went with a latte and a cinnamon swirl oat latte because I kind of did just want a regular cup but I'd love to come back for one of the other cold brews, teas or even the energy drinks.
