The reason for my rating, on a positive note, the staff was friendly...on a downside, waiting for A HALF HOUR in line today was ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!!! You have two lines, the other line as moving, for every 4 cars that got theirs, we barely moved up one vehicle. If it hadn't been for the fact that we had already paid, I would have backed out of there but instead, we were forced to just sit there, not cool!!! I go out to Oroville 6-8 times a year and whenever I do this is one coffee place I stop by. Dutch Bros is my favorite Coffee shop period! Most of the time I get the iced kicker but every now and then I order a Caramelizer or Mocha. Pretty much all the drinks there are great. Also to mention that customer service is excellent and right on every single time! BTW Gabby served me last time and she was awesome. The lines can get very long but they move pretty quickly. This was my first time at any Dutch Bros- I'm very impressed! I'm a transplant from the South and really wanted to try Dutch Bros after hearing the recommendations from my new friends here in CA. I was in line for 30 seconds when an associate came out to take orders (very efficient!) and I admitted to him it was my first visit ever...honestly I'd been intimidated by long lines (think In-N-Out) so I'd avoided visiting any Dutch Bros. Just like InO the justification for long lines is great offerings and service! So glad I went. I ordered a favorite, vanilla breve, and it tastes amazing. Like my other reviews I talk about taste being important (I'm a supertaster and have mega taste buds)...the coffee is 'just right' - no burnt coffee flavor and it was not overly sweet. The associate at the window - also very friendly and helpful - said they rarely got noobs there. I can't with Dutch bros. Their coffee has never had flavor I've enjoyed. Their service is always quick but they are to "in your face." I mean who is that peppy? I'm coming to get coffee because I'm tired, exhausted, grumpy, etc. and their staff practically climb in your car with you to say hello, ask about your day and chat. Dude, I'm trying to get coffee so I have half the energy these people do. Not tell them my life story while they sit on my lap. This place is an introverts nightmare. Just sayin. I had a very bad experience with this location. I ordered a drink and I went into Marshall's for about 20 minutes and cam out to a mess in my car! I went back across the street and they did honor a new drink. The issue was asking if I could get a couple rags to clean it and the girl in the window was not helpful at all! She handed me brown paper which dose t absorb much and I had to ask for her towel. My fingers where sticky and when I asked for another towel she acted put out and handed me a tiny torn piece of brown paper and my drink! Seriously lacking common sense!! Today on July 19, 2020 at 6:17 am I went to Dutch Bro's for some coffee on my way to work and the all workers there were NOT wearing masks. I asked the employees if they would wear a mask before helping me the employees thought it comical. I then asked if they're told to wear masked because of the COVID-19 they looked at each other and just laughed at me. They then went to make my order the workers talking amongst each other. It was very obvious they were talking about me. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I've NEVER heard of Dutch Bros before. I'm from Southern California and a quick Yelp search - I just realized we do not have any around us within 100 miles! I'm assuming this is only a Northern Cali coffee spot. Amazing!! In Los Angeles everyone is OBSESSED with Starbucks. Sbux this, PSL that. It's so annoying that I've boycotted Starbucks for almost a year. I'm open to new, small coffee shops that actually serve coffee based drinks that are not drowned in sugar. On our way to Oroville we passed by a Dutch Bros that was having it's grand opening in Live Oak. I bookmarked it thinking I had to try it on my way back home. Come to find out there's one at our exact destination! As we arrived we noticed the lines were LONG. Whatever, if I can wait in a 25 minute line for an In n Out burger I can handle this. However we were only there about 10-15 minutes. The location itself is so small. Drive thru or walk up service. There are 2 lines for both drive thru's. Unfortunately we couldn't see the menu so we looked it up to decide on our drinks. They do have a BIG assortment of drinks. It was a bit overwhelming trying to decide as we could see one of the staff members making her way towards are car to take our order. I settled on a Billy Jean Iced Latte while my other half wanted to try their Double Chocolate Mocha Cold Brew. The woman taking our order asked for sizing and I said large for mine. When they say large... they mean large. It was huge lol. So much coffee!! The staff member at the window was so nice! We had a small conversation with him, telling him what were doing in the area, what he recommends we go check out and all that good stuff. Our drinks were so good. Actually tasted like coffee. Not overly sweetened with syrups. It's so refreshing to know that their is more to the mainstream coffee world than Starbucks. I can't wait to go back. read more

While in the town of Oroville visiting friends we went shopping and wanted to get a coffee and I'm used to that big chain coffee house and my friend said that this place was so good and hey I was just up for a cup of coffee. It is a drive thru only store and we were about 4 cars back and a friendly guy comes up to the car to take our order on his phone since it's a order at the window store. But we don't know what we want since we can see the menu. He was so nice and friendly. Told us not a problem pull forward and see the menu, order at the window. When we get to the window they were singing happy birthday to someone and were so happy and friendly. The guy who took our order was very helpful and patient as we figured out what we wanted. We all ordered our drinks and I believe that their coffee is a lot less bitter than that other big coffee place I'm used to going to. Very smooth roast nice taste I was impressed. Dutch Brothers is a convenient, drive thru place to stop for coffee. This is the best coffee available in Oroville. Their drinks are always good with my favorites being the Annihilator, Caramelizer and the white mocha. The blended coffee drinks and fruit smoothies are good. Employees here are very friendly and chatty! They make a point to make friendly conversation to everyone while they make your drink. They offer a stamp card which offers a free drink after 10 stamps. The lines are ALWAYS long, but they move really fast. They have never screwed up my order. They are always super friendly and upbeat. I love the sugar free (as possible) Rebels!!!! The Eclipse, Shark Bite, and Ray of Sunshine are my favorites. My daughter always gets a frost...Birthday Cake, S'mores, or Cotton Candy. The workers always give you a smile, which is my first impression that i always stand by whenever i go to a food/drink business. And they have great memories when a car-full of people order drinks! You can get almost anything sugar-free/fat-free and they are awesome for people who have dairy allergies (they have coconut, almond, and soy milk). I love their Mango Smoothie and their Wild Berry Smoothie with coconut milk. ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! I also get their Caramelizer Mocha blended and sugar-free with whipped-cream. The BEST. What else is there to say? Everyone knows it too, it seems like there is always a line, but the wait isn't long and well worth it. I am never disappointed with any cup of joe from The Dutch. Plus, I have a dog and he goes a lot of places with me. They have little doggie treats that they give your dog while your drinks are being made. Too cute! The first time this happened I fell in love with Dutch Bros even more.
