The chicken blackberry salad was excellent! I got it with mixed greens instead of spinach. Will order it again but will get the feta on the side as I forgot I was dieting. My husband got a chef salad with blue cheese dressing. He liked it a lot. My mother in law got the chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. It was a very large portion so bring your appetite. She enjoyed it. For a side I for the mashed potatoes which they make in house. Really good! But the surprise delight was the vanilla bean latte. This restaurant was so spacious and clean! We were seated at a large table in the side area, as we had a party of 9. Our server came right away and took our drink orders, then our food orders shortly after. The menu has a ton of variety and options! I wish they served breakfast all day though, because those breakfast options looked delicious! I ended up ordering an iced banana latte (delicious) and the Loaded Mac and Cheese. The flavors of the meal were delicious! I loved the pulled pork, fried onions and bbq sauce toppings but the dish was a bit of a let down because the Mac and cheese was cold under the toppings. It took awhile for our food to come out so I didn't feel like returning it, but I was a little disappointed. The portion sizes on every meal that our table ordered was huge, I don't think anyone finished their meal so keep in mind you could share and still have plenty! I would not hesitate to visit Bigfoot Eats again, despite my cold noodles, because there's a lot on the menu I'd love to try! read more

Great burger, but the atmosphere needs help. I recently stopped by Bigfoot Eats for a meal and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was genuinely delicious. I ordered the jalapeño bacon jam burger, and it really hit the spot. If you're a fan of generous portions, you'll definitely be happy with the fries here, though I did find the side of potato salad to be a bit small for my liking. Unfortunately, the dining experience was significantly impacted by a major fly problem. There were flies everywhere, which made it really difficult to enjoy the meal. It's a shame, because the food itself is great, but the lack of cleanliness in the dining area was a real turn-off. I'd love to come back for the food, but I'm hoping management can get the pest issue under control soon. read more

The softest and best jalapeño & cheddar bread I've ever had. It was sooooo good! I'm a vegetarian and ordered the Yeti sandwich without the bacon and other meats it comes with. I was able to swap it with avocados and had my egg over medium. It was SOO delicious! It surpassed my expectations and it's been one of the most delicious meals I've had in a while. I also got fries instead of home fries. They were delicious also. My waitress was attentive and friendly and my food came out in perfect time. It was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Good portion too. It's also a market & It's Bigfoot inspired decor, super cute. They also serve beer and wine . Definitely would recommend this place to anyone in the area. If you don't eat meat, the only thing you can do is get breakfast here. They have literally nothing else without me except for some fried appetizers. It's just a typical restaurant in this entire part of California where because people don't know how to have a diet that has a little meat or no meat, places do not bother to try to get creative and have good quality non-meat options. The restaurant was clean, we were there close to closing and we got good service although Staff was busy closing down, The menu was a little disappointing, plenty of burgers which I can get similar or the same in a number of restaurants here in Oroville. My brother and I ordered the taco salad. I usually love taco salads. The tortilla was fried like a large taco, but was burned and very greasy. I did not read well enough before ordering. I was hungry, I got salad in a greasy shell, no beans, no guacomole. I was sorry that I had not ordered yet another burger.. There was nothing that caused me to feel like I will return. Visited July 30th..see my receipt. This is the first time at this restaurant. Arrived at 830am and immediately got hot coffee! ( they open at 8am).This is where Papacitos used to be. They have done a nice job with the remodel with a welcoming atmosphere. Air conditioning works great! I ordered the scrambled eggs with potatoes and crispy bacon. It also included sourdough toast. It was a HUGE amount and could barely eat a third of it. I liked that the potatoes were a bit crispy as well as the bacon. My friend got the omelet with potatoes and biscuits and gravy. The omelete had bacon and mushrooms and bell peppers along with sausage and smothered with cheese. HUGE portion! We had alot of leftovers! Both meals were great and the service ( Hilary) was awesome! They also had teas for sale and an ice cream station. Right now they are not set up for serving alcohol. Btw..if you use a credit card you will be charged a minimal fee (1.24 approx.). This place was clean and the owner was cheerful as well. Give them a chance - they have only been opened for approximately 1 month. Great addition to Oroville! I will DEFINITELY be back! read more

Our family came in with a party of 6 and the staff was nice. My grandmother has a walker that could be obstructive to walking around, but they allowed us to put near an unused table. The food did not take long to come out with 6 of us ordering all at once, it wasn't busy so that could have been the reason why. I had the French burger, sorry I didn't take a picture! I really hate to write this review because there is so much good and done right at this restaurant. Their recipes are great, just poorly executed by incompetent cooks. After a disastrous Friday night out to try and enjoy their "Prime Rib Dinner", which failed in every respect from food to service...I made the mistake of getting food delivered from them on a Friday night. I think they need to fire that head chef. After a local woman raved about their crispy chicken salad on FB I made a plan to order one delivered tonight and paired it with the potato skins. Now I'm not sure which night it was, but I had ordered the appetite sampler and side salad (I think last week). That was one of the best side salads I've ever had and made a mental note to get a salad from there next time. The sampler was OK. I do remember the chicken strips being good and loved the fresh potato skins. Unfortunately, the pickles and other items were not so great soggy and over salted. Fast forward to tonight their six piece potato skin appetizer came with four huge potato skins. Unfortunately, they'd been double fried too crispy and slightly burnt. Tonight's order had very little cheese, probably sat in their window too long before the driver even picked it. So the flavor just wasn't there. What was most disappointing was the salad. Gone was the crunchy green lettuce and mixed spring greens. It was replaced with a moderate amount of wilted Romaine (?) lettuce topped with flavorless over fried small chunks of fried chicken. They should've been served as complete chicken strips sliced. Instead, I got hard flavorless chunks. The tomatoes, hard boiled egg (1), blue cheese crumbles were OK. The bacon was unremarkable. An $18 entrée salad should not fit into a medium sized to go container. They should've stacked all of the cold greens, tomatoes, eggs etc., in the one and put the warmer items into a small container to be combined at home. This is a pretty basic salad, but they managed to mess it up. I also asked for extra sour cream and ranch which was ignored. I think I will stick to breakfast items and only during the week early in the day when I can count on items being prepared fresh to order. I know you can do better Bigfoot with a skilled expediter and better quality control & consistency. read more

Great lunch with Mom. The waitress was incredible, watched her superstar performance as the place got busier and busier, but she never missed a beat. The food was amazing as usual, montecristo sandwich for my Mom and pulled pork sandwich for me. The pictures say it all. The restaurant is always clean and presentable. Tonight started out a little rough when I placed an order at another restaurant for pickup around 9:20 PM. Unfortunately, when I arrived they hadn't received my order, and after waiting about 15 minutes I decided to leave. Tired and hungry, I drove back through town looking for somewhere else to eat. I didn't want fast food I was hoping for something that felt a little more like a home-cooked meal. That's when I pulled into Bigfoot Eats around 9:30 PM, knowing they closed at 10. I figured I'd just order a simple appetizer sampler so I wouldn't be a hassle so close to closing time. A little while later the staff came to my table to let me know the chef hadn't seen my order and the fryers had already been turned off. At that point I felt like I had struck out twice in one night. But what happened next completely changed my evening. The waitresses insisted that I pick anything else on the menu and told me they would take care of my meal free of charge. I didn't want to be that customer holding them up when they were trying to close, but they genuinely insisted that they wanted to make sure I got dinner that night. They brought out a great meal, loaded me up with food, and I even had leftovers to take home. What started as a frustrating night turned into a really positive experience because of the kindness and hospitality of the staff. I left as a very happy and grateful customer. Had dinner at the new location in Oroville last night. I liked the service, food and the Mounds bar. I have eaten at the Clipper Mills many times with friends. Staff were very cordial and attentive. Only negative is the acoustics. Hard tile floor and hard walls made not a real friendly dining experience. Not the business fault but always been an issue with that location. Sound panels on the walls and ceiling would greatly improve dining and stop the noise pollution. read more

Took my daughter here for her 1st birthday. Our waitress was very nice the food on the other hand wasn't very pleasant. We had four kids two adults . Three kids got spaghetti off the kids menu and one got Mac n cheese as well off the kid's menu. The spaghetti was cold and watery. My kids are not picky especially when it comes to spaghetti and when my daughter wouldn't even touch it I knew it was bad. I even tasted it myself it came out super cold like it's been sitting there all day when your spending 130$ on a meal you expect it to be worth it. They didn't offer a discount they offered cheese to put on some cold spaghetti. I wouldn't recommend this place. Definitely won't be going back read more

What an amazing experience. My husband was a professional chef in Sonoma County for 30+years. We are very picky when it comes to eating out. The food at Bigfoot Eats is fantastic. The portions are HUGE and the meat is so tender and seasoned to perfection. Staff was friendly and made sure our experience was top notch. Highly recommend this wonderful establishment. Brand new restaurant to Oroville CA!! I was excited to see this place. Boy do I love a new breakfast+ place! It is a cute place decorated with Bigfoot highlights that's very welcoming. We had a variety of food today. I had a bacon jam burger that's was so delicious. Beware the Jalapeño stingers definite sting ;). I couldn't even finish it. My hubby had the croissant French toast. We enjoy the place. I like the old county cabin feel. I like the wood walls, you can see they are hand made and have some nice woodwork touches. The menu is big considering the location and the population up here. They even have a breakfast menu and we are definitely coming back to give that a try. My husband was done with his meal before my burger showed up, this time with more onion strings (this time pale and cold). Asked for a take out box for my burger and we left. Got apologies but no consideration on bill. Parking is really bad there. Strip mall with not enough parking to accommodate the stores, let alone the several restaurants there. Disappointed.
