Always great and cheerful service. This company has a good formula for who they hire. Upbeat, personable, and service oriented. These kids are great. The drinks are great too and they'll customize them to suit your taste. Just tell them what you want and they'll make recommendations that are usually spot on. Bye bye Starbucks. Dutch Bros has you beat by a thousand miles. Now, if you want to sit with your laptop and look like you are on top of the business world, while you are actually checking Facebook, go to Starbucks. When I first went to Dutch Bros a few years back, I was not impressed with the service or staff. Obviously changes have been made and the drive through is much quicker and the staff are really nice. I told him that he could have simply said, "Good morning," or acknowledged me. Instead, he shrugged his shoulders and showed no concern whatsoever about how I had been treated. As a woman of color in an environment where everyone else appeared to be white, I found the experience extremely uncomfortable and felt unwelcome. I cannot speak to his intentions, but the way I was treated made me question whether I was being treated differently because of my race. It would have taken two seconds to say, "Good morning, we'll be right with you." Instead, I was ignored for several minutes and then spoken to in a dismissive and unapologetic manner. Customer service and basic courtesy should apply to everyone. Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant first experience, and I will not be returning.
