I used to work here. Working demands and work conditions weren't always the greatest. Sometimes pretty terrible and unfair if you were a closer. But I loved my coworkers and some of the regulars we had. Saw some reviews of people complaining about waiting too long when coming in after 9pm. But know this. AFTER 7PM THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON WORKING AND THEY ALONE HAVE TO CLEAN THE ENTIRE SHOP FOR CLOSE AND MAKE ALL OF YHE DRINKS. So if you're mad they're taking too long to make your single drink realize they alone have to make all the drinks for all the cars and some cars have huge lists and at the same time make and take all the orders for walk up. It sucks. I know. I was a closer. So have some grace for them and don't go all Karen because you're iced decaf nonfat single shot latte is taking too long. read more

I got to Dutch bros outside to order and I am on crutches so I cannot drive. I topped up when I got to order at 3:03pm. I gave the girl out order and sat down. 10 mins later I heard the staff giving free drinks to the cars going by saying their system was down. I went back to the window to check on my order and they had forgotten my drinks. They apologized and said the drinks would be free for waiting and their system was down anyway. They had me re-put my order in and the guy said our order would be $18.60 normally but it would be free. Another 10 minutes later a guy says that he has to charge us for the drinks since the system was down. I said we have been here for 20 minutes waiting and if we were in a car we would have gotten our drinks for free for waiting. He said that only a select few got free drinks. I said we have been waiting for 20 minutes and were told we would get free drinks. He said he would give us one for free. He asked us for our order again and I said I would not say it again for a 3rd time and we already said it and it should be on there. He found it and said it would be $21.50 which was even higher than the first guy. I said this is ridiculous and they have no idea what they are doing at this location. I paid $13 for the drinks and left. We are traveling and I usually love Dutch Bros. I can't drive because I am injured so I had to use the walk up window. I was told I would get the drinks for free by 2 employees and the shift leader did not care that it took 25 minutes to get our drinks when if I were driving I wouldn't have been forgotten and lied to. read more

As a kid who just moved here to California from NJ, I have only heard of Dutch Bros, but on this trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park with my partner we stopped by Dutch Bros to perk us up for our hike. I highly recommend the Cookie Dough Cold Brew. We got the idea from a review here, but that's not to credit the two people who were taking our order from the drive thru giving their recommendations. Fair warning, the Cookie Dough Cold Brew is potent with caffeine with more than 250 mg. It was the perfect drink for my partner and I to share in the morning, however, but I'm not sure how I'd be after drinking just one myself. It was horrid drinks, with very little syrup and a complete waste of money. I will never be back! Super delicious blended drinks!!! My daughter loves their chocolate blended Mini Frost (milk shake), hubby enjoys the Kicker, and I am a fan of the Cocomo. The employees are always very friendly and enthusiastic at all of the DB in the area. Looks like a fun environment for young people to work at. On our first visit we were given a "ninth card" from this location (a filled up stamped card) so the next time we went back we received a free drink. Pretty sweet I'd say! My favorite is the bubblegum frost, for some reason, it tastes like amoxicillin and I love it! I appreciate the diverse community they created all over the west coast! 6p.m 8/16/2022 If I could give this dutch bros -5 stars I would! I went because it was the closest. Starting off, we were 2nd in line and the woman working opened the window and YELLED asking "what do you want". My girlfriend and I were very put back and said we didn't know yet because we didn't want to yell back (she did the same for the people behind us). When we got to the window the guy wearing a nba finals hat said ( what do you want).... THEN when I went to say my order he let me talk for a couple of seconds then turned around and started to talking to someone else and came back and asked What we wanted again. I told him what I wanted and he said they can't do that and o said another way to order it because I had gotten the same drink at many other stands before. Then when we went to hand us our drinks he vigorously wiped it after someone else said it was leaking. I love dutch bros. However, yesterday and today my co-worker and I had a terrible experience at this location. Yesterday my co-worker's large cup had a cut in the side of it which lead to her shark attack slowly leaking all over her desk. Today the same thing happened to her again. When I got to work I noticed that my cup was leaking as well. Both cups are large cups and had shark attacks in them. This equals sticky desks. When we tried to call the location we were only able to call the corporate office and even then got a voicemail. This was our first time at DB and I was thoroughly impressed with the staff's friendliness, service and delicious drinks, which were reasonably priced. We were just reading the menu and the staff member Devon ran over to apologize for not attending to us sooner (unnecessarily of course but very kind) and he made one of our drinks customized at no extra charge. Coffee isn't the only amazing thing about Dutch Bros! Their employees are by far the most friendly, customer oriented, energetic, and fun group that any company would want to pride themselves on. This is our morning must go to stop when we're in Redding and it almost happened every day while we were in town! Every cup is obviously made to order which leads to a little bit longer of a wait than the competitor across the street, but every extra minute is worth it for the quality served. The baristas will take an extra minute or two to chat while the order is being made which ads the personal touch. There's no question as to why these drive thrus are such hot spots around time.
