We got two savory vegan crepes, one sweet vegan crepe, and the vegan cream of mushroom soup. We loved it all and were practically licking our plates. UPDATE AND EDIT: This restaurant is not 100% vegan. They serve meat. However, they are vegan knowledgeable and vegan friendly and I have zero issues or worries ordering here. My wife is Gluten Free and Vegan, and she loves this restaurant too. As I said before.... A vegan husband and wife run this restaurant. They are awesome!!! They make yummy vegan food. All I can say is that the eggs were powdered eggs, the frittata wasn't fresh, and a day of horrible after effects involving many rolls of TP tell the tale. And it isn't a cheap place either. I wish this cafe was closer to my house. I was looking for a place to eat which had organic ingredients (I have autoimmune disease and it's important for me to eat toxin-free). I ordered vegetable omelette with potatoes and soda bread. The bread was one of the most delicious bread I've eaten. Also the apricot jam was so good I asked for more. Everything was super fresh and it felt good nourishing my body with healthy ingredients. I couldn't not mention how friendly the owners were - they have wonderful customer service skills. We ate as a family group so were able to taste each others dishes. All our dishes were beautifully prepared, unique, fresh and so tasty! We ordered a Breakfast Scramble, Seasonal Fruit Crepe, Pesto Chicken Crepe, Veggie Omelet, Meat Omelette .. etc. My favorite was the Scramble .. fluffy and so tasty and the Fruit Crepe .. fresh fruits w/homemade whipped cream. What a great spot!!! You walk in through a beautiful little happy courtyard and enter the bistro to be greeted by one of the nicest friendliest person I've come in contact with in a while. We ordered a Hazelnut Banana Crepe and The Scrambler that comes with fried potatoes and soda bread. You can choose fruit instead if you want. The Scrambler was outstanding, delicious flavor and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were delicious and the jam that came with the soda bread was perfect. The hazelnut banana crepe was large and tasty! You pick fresh or sautéed bananas and you can tell the whipped cream is made in house. Very good. I also ordered a latte with lavender flavor and it was perfect. Such a friendly and happy place. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We discovered it as we were traveling through Redding. From its cute little patio out front with an awning available for those hot days to its ultra clean interior, it offers a good feel right from the start. The menu is amazing, ranging from delicious omelets to crepes to salads and soups, all organic. And so are all their beverages.
