Expensive as it gets in the coffee business but at least the barista was well versed in comedy and gave me some insight to a movie I'd been wanting to watch and didn't have time for. The irony is she babbled on wasting 5mins of my day in a hour of the day I value most. Thanks to the crew here, we had the sweetest 'send-off' as my wife and I prepared to depart Redding for the long afternoon drive back home to San Francisco Bay Area. We pulled up into the drive-thru line and a friendly barista bounced out of the kiosk to take our order, but I told him we were first-timers and needed a bit more time to scrutinize the drink options. Then another female barista came by and asked where we were headed and we told her we were preparing for our drive south. I also shared how we'd first heard of Dutch Bros through watching Undercover Boss on tv. She looked slightly tickled. By the time we got to the window, we placed our order for The Kicker and an iced expresso. A minute later, we got our drinks and in exchange I handed the first barista we'd met earlier eight bucks for our order. He promptly handed the cash back and said it was complimentary. I insisted we pay for our drinks but hand outstretched and into my car, the guy teasingly said he'd drop the cash into my car. So we graciously accepted the unexpected treat. We loved the coffees; mine kept me awake at the wheel for miles. To top the experience, the kind gesture of having our drinks on the house because we were first timers from out of town was unbeatable. You've won two new customers from far away who would have nothing but good things to say about Dutch Bros. Dutch Bros is, to me, the best drive through coffee in redding. Coffee preference is about as personal as anything can be, so although I personally think Dutch Bros tastes better than any other coffee in town, you will have to try them to see for yourself. More objective than taste though is service. Dutch Bros is fast, friendly, accurate and pleasant. They always greet you in an upbeat manner, pull your beverage quickly, and make you feel welcome. It sure beats waiting 15 minutes for a so-so drink like I have at some other coffee shops. read more

Great coffee! Fun place! The workers all look like they enjoy working there so you've got to assume there's some love added to each cup. The kids hot chocolates are served "drinkable" temps. They have almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk. Definitely a great cup of coffee. read more

Best Dutch Bros in town! They are consistent about getting people through the line as quickly as possible, are always friendly, and have never messed up an order for me so far! We've given them pretty complicated orders in the past, but they always work hard to get everyone exactly what they want. I really appreciate their stamp card system, and every month they have new free bumper stickers to give away! read more

First time stopping by this Dutch bros on my way to Sacramento.. HORRIBLE experience!!!! I've been addicted to Dutch for 3 years now.. I didn't want no milk in my freeze as I requested cuz one of my regular Dutch that I used to go to never give me milk in mine cuz milk hurts my stomach and I like thicker freeze.. anyways this Dutch bros basically forced me to have milk in mine and he argued with me saying they can't make me my freeze if I don't add milk in it so he asked what milk do I want if I wanted almond milk.. I said I wanted NO milk. He said sorry we can't do that.... my boyfriend was the driver he got irritated with the back and forth thing so I gave up I said ok almond milk.. the outcome of it was NASTY !!!! I had to accept the drink cuz my tired boyfriend and I drove 12 hours from Washington we have no AC in our truck so we didn't want to deal with the remaking cuz I shouldn't have had to argue about how I wanted my drink!! Amaaaazing coffee. I highly recommend "The Annihilator"- it's chocolate Mac nut heaven. Service was super friendly and quick. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the insanely loud shuffle-party techno music! Lol- it didn't fit the coffee scene. But again- the coffee was great- get some. read more

Love this place. LOVE THEM I SAY! lol They get a line going so quick... But no worries, because the nice people come out to your car and get your order. All you have to do is drive up and grab your drink... I think they keep dog treats too for if you have a pooch in your car. Just a great friendly bunch of people who seam to love their job :) Have they got my order wrong... Maybe once or twice in a big group, but I loved the wrong drink even more then what I ordered lol. Still going to remove a star for it, but it was a one time thing, so don't look to much into it. read more

I've had Dutch Bros only a few times, though I've lived in Northern California my whole life. I've been to Palo Cedro and Redding locations. Overall, I don't like it. For me, the coffee never tastes good enough to warrant paying as much as any other coffee place would charge, though it is drinkable. I don't understand the infatuation some people have with this place. However, the service is admittedly pretty fantastic. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with any of their workers. But I would rather talk to a rude barista and walk away happy with my drink than the other way around. In short, there are better coffee places in Redding. read more
