I watched them batch up 10 drinks at a time, work on them a bit, walk away, come back and do the next step, then walk away again. Batching drinks makes sense for an order. It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine. None of them are worth the time spent waiting for them.
