I'm a DB girl. I absolutely love their customer service, & they do coffee right. The music wasn't too loud at this location. It was a beautiful day, & they had a steady line. This is one of the harder locations to get into, & pay attention because if you miss the entrance to the drive thru, there is no way into it via the parking lot. Odd. So, walk up is the other option. I like walking up. So it works for me. The young lady was very sweet. I ordered a large Snickerdoodle for my birthday coffee. Very happy with it. While visiting San Antonio I stopped at this Dutch Brothers location on a Tuesday (4/25/2023) about 2pm. It was my first time here. I was told this coffee is a must try. So I did just that. I was very satisfied. The coffee is good. I asked the server (I walked up to the window) for the equivalent of a coffee frappe. He let me taste their "freeze" to see if I liked it. It was yummy. Then he asked would you like anything else in it. I said a shot of espresso. He asked do you want whipped cream? I said yes with cinnamon on top. Great customer service. I wish I got his name. He was so pleasant and so friendly and very helpful. He truly made my drink and my customer experience very pleasant and memorable. Give him a raise. I experienced THE WORST latte of my life. Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here. My fiancé and I stopped in for a couple of late night drinks, a Grasshopper and an Oat Milk Latte, and while one was pretty tasty the other was a disaster. My fiancé's Grasshopper was smooth, creamy, and minty deliciousness. The drink was crafted pretty darn well, so when I took a sip of my Oat Milk Latte I was extremely surprised that it was the exact opposite. The espresso was beyond burned and tasted like literal ash in my mouth. I could barely discern whether it was espresso or charred bits of God only knows what. It made my eyes water it was so bad, and I was so shocked that I was given this poison to drink as it was anything BUT drinkable. My very sweet and calm fiancé actually got mad on my behalf after tasting this horrid concoction, stopped at a gas station to throw this thing out of our car and into the trash, and immediately took me to go get another drink elsewhere because I "didn't deserve that." I want to give Dutch Bros the benefit of the doubt and write this experience off as this location not knowing how to brew their espresso beans. Be warned if you want to order something with espresso. The Grasshopper gets a solid 5 stars, but maybe that's because ANYTHING would have tasted better than that dumpster fire of a 0 star poison latte. I was super excited about this location bc it's right across the street from UTHSCSA. Now we have Dutch, Starbucks, Dunkin', and Merit within a block! The reason I'm giving this location a three is because of two major things. 1. I ALWAYS get too hot of a drink and burn my hand while holding it. 2. The wait is always longer than usual, even when there's a single person in front of me. Of the three times I've been here, they've been guilty of these two. The last time I was here, there wasn't a single person taking orders outside. I think this location needs a bit more training because it's honestly not up to par with other Dutch bros. read more

This review is for the location off Babcock and Louis Pasteur. First off, it was hard just getting into the location. You can only enter on Babcock and if you miss an entrance and turn on Louis Pasteur, you'll have to go the long way around to get back to a position where you can actually get into the coffee shop. Plus, there are two entrances off of Babcock one for the drive thru and one for the walk up. If you miss the entrance for the drive thru, then you'll just need to settle for the walk up unless you want to go the long way around again. Needless to say, getting to a point where I could actually order was a bit frustrating. When I walked up the menu discombobulated me a bit, they have a lot of fun names for old favorites, and new that I just wasn't familiar with. They were playing rap music while we waited, I did not recognize the artist. I ordered a regular mocha which is my go to coffee drink. The whole experience made me feel old, but I'm glad I was able to try Dutch brothers finally. The mocha was OK, the top of the cup reminded me of a sippy cup and had the phrase love abounds which I thought was nice. I would go back to try some of their iced coffee offerings, but will likely try a different location given the issues getting into this one. read more

Have been a couple of times. Love the idea of different types of drinks with different flavors. Each time I have gone I try a new drink. The medium size is definitely big enough. Definitely a yummy treat. The ambiance is good The only negative is the location to get in. It's difficult if ur on the other side of the road. There's only one entrance in and out on a one way busy street. The other thing is the wait is kinda long. I can never get a drink on the way to work cause of the time it takes for customers to get served. Food - Only had the coffees. They are excellent and they go out of their way to be customer focused. Service - yes, out of their way. They recommend or make options with SF and low carb.
