First time here. I was confused lol I had heard so much about Dutch Bros from a friend from California! Anyway, it was a small little drive thru and there were people taking orders outside. They were really helpful and suggested a hazelnut white chocolate iced coffee. She told me to tell them it was my first time there and they gave me the drink for free! And also some puppy ships for my dogs who were in the car with me. And a punch card for the 11th drink free. The dogs and I loved our treats and everyone there was so friendly. I struggled to find some thing that appealed to me on the menu because it is very sugar forward more of a smoothie/milkshake/Frappuccino kind of place. Yasssss Dutch always comes in for the clutch! I've been on a serious Dutch craze this past month and the drinks never disappoint! Employees are always friendly no matter what location you go to or whatever time of day it is. Lines are always long so hey, that must mean something good right?! I come here quite frequently, and service and drinks are always good, but today (04/0922) I'm reviewing for a different reason. I was walking home from CVS and a man was following me and harassing me. I wrote on my phone asking for help and showed them at the window. They were FANTASTIC. They never left me alone and kept me talking while one of them called the police, and then took me around back and made sure I was safe and let me wait until the police showed up. Dillon and Tyler were phenomenal, and so was the rest of the crew working- I just didn't get their names. I was so terrified but the staff went above and beyond to not only make sure I was safe, but to comfort me as well. I can't thank these people enough. They did everything right. read more

Stopped here for an afternoon java run. Someone had recommended trying it so we did. We went thru the drive thru which had a bit of a line but it went really quick bc they had someone in the lane taking order to speed things up. She was very friendly and welcoming especially after we told her it was our first time. Very patient and great about explaining their choices and menu. We ordered a blended breve and an iced kicker along with a s'mores cookie and choc chip loaf. We got up to the window and the employee there was also very friendly and told us that we were getting the drinks on the house since it was our first visit so we ended up paying only for the pastries. However If Coffee is not your poison they also have flavoured Ice teas. Unfortunately today will be my last visit. I've had all the bitter burnt coffee I can handle. I've been a customer with this location for the past 9 years and this year the quality has definitely declined. I go to work around 2am and my coffee options are limited so I'm sad that it's come to this. The staff however has always been great and friendly. read more

I'd never been to a Dutch Bros before but this place was great. Starbucks fans beware, this is a REAL coffee joint! No inside seating and limited outside seating (it's Tempe, who wants to sit outside anyways) and primarily walk-up and drive-thru. The iced coffee is awesome, the staff is super helpful and friendly and the snacks (banana loaf etc) are prepackaged vs freshly baked and so just 'ok'. If you've not tried a Dutch Bros, well worth checking out instead of your usual coffee habit. The drive thru line was long so I assume this place is a popular local stop. I do want to try some of the espresso hot beverages next time. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Huge emphasis on customer service and actually getting to know someone [rather than being just a coffee pusher]! I have "sadly" have kicked back on my iced coffee habit in the last few months, but when I do get one anymore, it's gotta be Dutch Bros! I don't mind waiting a little long for the quality. This location though does get a bit iffy when the drive thru line is going out of the lot. I'm surprised every time I drive by there's a line. I've been told there's even one in the middle of the night [not surprised since it's next to ASU]. I'm fairly particular about my vanilla iced coffees, and they make them to perfection. I always make it a point to leave reviews when I love the service because often times people only want to speak on the issues they have with places. My day was really rough today as I lost my bag and I went back to Dutch and asked them if they'd seen it they were quick to let me know that they hadn't and they would reach out if they did. So I went to church and came back after to check in and they still hadn't but each and every time they were kind to me which helped with the stress. One of the incredible baristas even gave me a free drink because I was having a rough day. The baristas at Dutch are always kind but today they went over the top to be kind when they definitely didn't have to do the extra things they did. I adore baristas but the ones here are over the top incredible. It's definitely one of the thankless jobs on my list. The energy of the location is very welcoming. Working as a barista for a non-starbucks local for the past three years, I would say I have a pretty good taste for good espresso. When I lived next to this Dutch Bros., I was a naive young soul who would reap the benefits of free almond joys whenever had the chance. Needless to say, I swung by this place last night to fill a hot espresso drink craving and of course experienced quick and friendly customer service. However, I was bummed they had changed their menu around. AND, something irks me about a place that uses chocolate milk instead of milk + mocha.
