I was…read moreunimpressed with the quality, quantity, and price of the chicken finger dinner the last time I was there. It was just a couple frozen Tyson style chicken fingers cooked up with a hand full of fries. That belongs on a kid's menu not for adults. My friend's burger was smaller and so was his fry portion too. Eggs are still on the runny side most of the time because they're rushing on the griddle again. I've had to send raw eggs back to finish cooking. I'm sorry, but in a sunny side up the whites shouldn't be wet still and moving like slime. They're supposed to be solid. There shouldn't be a puddle of orange goo under scrambled eggs this means they aren't cooked enough. Fries, ranch, and subs are still great.

When we walked in around 10:00am, the place was packed. Only one two-top left which we promptly grabbed. The menu for breakfast is pretty standard fare. Eggs, meats, pancakes, toast, etc. I ordered the corned beef hash cheese omelet. It was quite good. My wife ordered one pancake, one egg and bacon. Also tasty. We both had coffee. The food was good, the decor is right out of home town memorabilia. Nothing fancy about the place. Just good food done well. I should mention that it is "cash only". No credit cards. But the prices are very reasonable, so not to worry. Our total bill came to $26! I gave the cashier, which is where you pay, $30 and told her the change was for the tip. She seemed happy with that. Lots of locals and I think we were probably the only out-of-towners. Fun place!

We also really enjoyed the Rockin' Rohler and the burrito bowl for breakfast. One of the servers mentioned that there was music on the stoop that night so we went back for dinner, too. It was a beautiful night and we got to listen to Drew and Lena on the steps while we ate outside. Very nice atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! The lime margarita was fantastic and they have a very extensive beer list. We had the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer along with the Rodeo Clown Burger, the Spicy BBQ Mac & Cheese with "pulled" shiitake stems, and the Peruvian tofu bowl. Even if you are not vegan or vegetarian, you will not miss the meat - everything was delicious and very satisfying. The servings were very generous, too. We took home some cinnamon hazelnut biscotti for our morning coffee, and it was perfect for dipping. The Labyrinth Press x Brazil Lounge in Jamestown is a real gem!!

We also got a small side of guacamole ($6.50) to enjoy with our complementary chips with salsa. First, the chips with salsa. The chips were very good, on the thicker side and slightly salted. The salsa had a rich tomato flavor with a few chunks of jalapeño, but the salsa could have been generally a little spicier for my taste - maybe more jalapeño? The guacamole was mostly smooth with a few chunks, and was tasty. I enjoyed my fish fajitas. A piece of fish, salmon and 6 small shrimp cooked with a decent amount of grilled green pepper and onion. Nice portion ($16.75) and came with a large separate plate with pico, guac, refried beans, rice, lettuce and sour cream. Three flour tortillas accompanied the dish. The carne asada ($13.99) came with two nice sized pieces of grilled beef, grilled onions and grilled jalapeños and mushrooms. Also came with the rice, refried beans and other sides, including the flour tortillas. My partner found the carne to be slightly tough, but flavorful. Service was good. When we sat, the server soon brought over the chips and salsa and our food came fairly quickly after we ordered. We had to ask to have our empty water glasses filled, although the server did come over twice (when our glasses weren't yet empty) during our meal to ask if we wanted anything. The restaurant is small and not fancy. The prices overall look reasonable and I think there are options to try different things here, based on the extensive menu.
