I go here quite often for some great rates in Flower! Occasionally I'll grab a vape. But today I stopped by on the random and seemed to arrive at a little block party outside the spot. I met Michael, behind the brand "AllDay" which has great Vape options. And he blessed me with a cartridge and then went further and dropped in a battery!! Amazing!! Then Scott, who blessed me with a pre-roll the first time I shopped here, went above and beyond by asking me to give him my feedback of the new brand on site "High 5s", which are these great little pre-rolls, infused with all that good stuff!! While looking around at the different tables with flower, distillates, gummies and such I came across "Hudson Cannabis" boasting the "best hash in NY". So of course I had to grab some of that!!! As well as the infamous "DANK" glass tip pre-roll blunts. After all was said and done... 10% off of the Hash and the Blunt they hit me with a #goodybag fully equipped with a lighter, matches, sun glasses, snap back caps and to top it off..... a perfect sized glass blown bowl!! We were excited to try a new dispensary but gravely disappointed by Dutchess Roots.There was noone who greeted us warmly in fact we didnt even get somewhat friendly.The computer screens are super touchy so it took extra time to compensate for that and the entire time i felt extremely uncomfortable as i was watched by a young man perched at the register. Curt Directives were rudely made to me on how to complete the transaction,felt awkward the entire time .He handed me my change with not one word of thanks let alone a have a good night/ crickets !! WEIRD . I asked for an owner one was not present i was told neither was someone in any type of management i could soeak to .Clearly my concerns or issue was of zero interest to these gentleman and the young man that rang me up was visibly annoyed that I mentioned ANYTHING. My 1st time there. Very clean. Staff was ready to help. At several other deispensaries I've been to, when I explain I need a ratio.of 20:1 THC:. .CBD, I get the deer in headlights look.No matter how I tried to explain it but they still couldn't grasp the concept. I endvwith something but not what my Dr ordered. At Roots I said to the clerk I need the 20:1 THC:CBD ratio. Finally someone who knows mathematics! He had found what I wanted. The ratio is a tad higher but I finally found a dispensary that has a clue what a ratio is. read more
