While only I received the sound healing, Tsering generously offered to cleanse every item we purchased--including gifts and personal pieces--sharing his good intentions for each of us through this thoughtful ritual. The shop is filled with authentic, beautiful items. Yep! This is the place! So small you do most of your shopping on the outside by looking at the display in the window, then walk sideways through the inside to actually select your items, chat with the owner, and pay. I have found some awesome stuff here-- great bronze chandelier earrings, for example, for $20, and multiple amazing bangles and filigree cuff bracelets to add to my extensive collection. Need a bonus? He sells shisha and coals for your hookah! Cheap! I buy mine here. I recommend going and just browsing around without looking for anything specific, but with an open mind to find something you'll love. Lurk around the windows outside, or brave the interior and get lost among one of the most packed little jewelry and goody stores you have ever seen. Some of the strange findings here will surprise you; I can nearly guarantee you won't be disappointed.

They have the standard resort souvenirs such as T-shirts sweatshirts keychains magnets all the standard selection at most resorts. They also have a miscellaneous of small gifts and candy packages. I was surprised to see but they sell cigars and cigarettes as well as cold drinks. You may use your comp points and comp dollars in the store. If you're here only once or twice a year make sure you stop in and use all your comp points prior to leaving the resort your points are only good for six months so use them up before you leave. Your Boston points are not good in Vegas. I want my cousin he left $50 on the table he could've went in and bought a sweatshirt or a bunch of candy and a bunch of cold drinks so make sure you utilize it before you leave the resort. As of right now parking is still free but I have noticed they put in a few gates so I believe they're ramping up to start charging again.

I asked whether I could test it and was told no. I have only smelled old bottles of Jicky -- I don't know what the current version smells like. Without trying, I couldn't decide whether to buy it, so I gave the perfume back and told him I'd think about it. They were selling it for $145, same as retail. I then had a walk around browsing the store. Once or twice I saw something I hadn't heard of and I took out my phone to Google it. I'm a bit socially awkward and I sometimes prefer to read about things online instead of bothering someone with questions. I went to the door and told the gentleman at the counter thanks and good bye. He said to me, "so I'm curious, were you just shop malling me or what?" I'd never heard that term and asked what he meant. He said, "You look at our boxes and then you look the prices up on your phone -- that's shop malling." I said that I was really mostly interested in the Guerlain perfume, and if they'd had a deal on it I would have taken it. But they didn't and plus, I'm not going to shell out $145 for a perfume if I can't try it. He said to me sarcastically, "Support local businesses, huh." I replied, "Well, I still might be back, you have some good stuff." And he said, "I won't hold my breath." It's not nice to be snippy with a customer who's just coming in to have a browse. And the "shop malling" accusation came out of nowhere too (just because I was walking around and looking at my phone?). The funny thing is, I would gladly pay retail price for something or even a bit more to support a local business run by nice folks -- keyword here is nice.
