This Allstate agency was much better when it was managed by Mike Romero and Teresa. I would always get the answers I wanted and I felt welcomed whenever I paid them a visit to the office. Since moving away from Watsonville, I would always rely on emails and phone calls to get the simple answers to my questions but this office and it's staff for some reason (Adelina and other folks to be exact) are hesitant to answer your questions in a timely manner, sometimes for days you would not hear back from them. I think there is no reason why an question cannot be answered now that we have the fastest form of communications around (email). I think it's just the lack of discipline and concern of customers needs that defines the downfall of this office and its staff. Management, please take note of this behavior. This is what really frustrated me in many ways, especially from my distance to this office, yet I remained a loyal customer. I finally was fed-up and decided to find a location that's closer and more easily accessible if I had to pay them a personal visit. What surprises me is that there are 2 reviews here, the oldest one pointing out the same deficiencies and that was more than 4 years ago. My, how old habits never die. I have recently signed-on with my local agency closer to where I live now. Not only do I receive emails back the same day with the answers I have, but I can also feel the energy of concern and the way my new local agent writes the emails back to me. Very friendly and caring. They are more precise and competent in the work probably because they actually care about what they do instead of doing only what they care about. I was fortunate to work with the previous owner, Mike Romero and his staff back in the 90's and early 2000s. I hear that he works out somewhere in Arizona now. I'm glad for him and I'm sure his customers are glad as well in return.

First she didn't mention that FAIR charges a 3.5% transaction fee if you use a CC to pay( which is required in advance before moving to state farm covering liability.
