I was here the other day, last week. For a small location they do have a variety of different types of clothing. I had an upcoming job interview and the Gentleman in the front welcomed me and helped me find an outfit for my interview. Thank you so much! I believe his name was Michael. It hard to get help from the two sale clerks(the or the ladie) they act like you're not going to buy, and you're wasting their time. Ask for help you get facial expression like they are too busy standing around and ask them to check stock on the back or storage. They don't bother just that's we have. It like you're pulling their tooth to get some help. Other than that, the store is clean except home near asking for money or blocking the walkway. read more

I went there to buy some clothes and while I was there the employees were having some kind of meeting on the sales floor. The employee snarled at me "do you want to join our meeting?". I went to purchase a 1Xlt button up shirt for a friend. I was not greeted when I walked in. I searched the entire store & found 4 on my own. That's it. Not once was I asked if I could be helped. While in the store, another customer was asking about a black tie. The employee behind the cash register said, it there wasn't one on the floor, then there's not any. Black ties usually don't last. He offered no alternative. I offered the suggestion of a grey. Then the customer asked if I could help him pick a tie. We did find one that would work for his occasion. The employee did not leave from behind the register, despite there being only 3 customers in the store, myself & the gentleman I was helping being 2. I joked and said, "I'm going to get a little discount as commission, right?" And the customer agreed I deserved it. I asked if there were teacher discounts, of course, none. I had a coupon, but it didn't work because one of the items was on sale. The guy claimed he could not give me any sort compensation for doing his job for him, saying he couldn't. I asked if his boss was around, because being a single mom teacher, I am never too proud to ask for a discount. I've worked retail, and there are ways to compensate good customers. He said he was the boss & he couldn't do anything for me. I called BS. I literally did his job for him. At least I was able to assist the other customer. read more

Shopped at the DXL outlet store because I was told they often had sales in addition to their lower prices. I was a little confused about sizing so I approached a customer service representative that was standing nearby. His name was Michael and he not only answered my questions, he happily organized a selection of outfits that perfectly met my needs. It was like having my own personal shopper! I actually left the store with a few items that Michael showed to me that I wouldn't have purchased without his knowledge (and patience!). Highly recommend this store. read more

This place has gone bad . They have a limited selection on styles. It's all mainly dressy clothes and a small selection on sports wear . The worst part is the customer service. I go to this Casual Male because it is the one closest to me. Their parking lot SUCKS! The spots in the lot are small and us big fatties have a hard time parking our oversized cars in them. So, I tend to go right when they open or right before they close so I can park more easily. They tend to carry more traditional clothes than the location in Culver City. (That one has all the trendy urban clothes that I would never wear.) The staff is always working on something, but they are willing to help you find something, if you need help. Selection is severely limited to the season, so if you need something like a jacket or swim trunks, you gotta go at the right time of the year. I haunt their sale racks. I've gotten some great deals there. Actually, I buy little there at full price. I once bought a pair of jeans there. Took them home and a button popped off. I took them back and the exchange process was super easy. When you drive by, look for the clearance sales. They offer the best deals. The fitting rooms are a little tricky. They keep them locked, so if you use one, jam something in the door. If you walk out to look in the mirror, the door will slam shut behind you, requiring them to unlock it again. When I was there last, she had to open it three times. She got a little salty with me. So, I left a pile of stuff on the floor for her. Serves her right, witch. read more

Had a better experience when I came in to return. The female associate that unfortunately I didn't catch her name was very very helpful!!! She made my return/exchange a breeze. I gave them more stars because she made a great attempt at customer service and went out of her way to be sure I had found all I needed plus offered me my discount again. One thing about that shopping center is the Parkin is pretty tight. There are about 4 other shops in the same center and sometimes there is no parking. read more

As a bigger than average man I appreciate having this store close to me. They carry everything you need from your head to your toes. The store is located in a little strip mall next to the 405 freeway. The parking lot is very small and it shares the lot with about 3-4 other shops. Every time I go in the customer service is always great. The clothes tend to be a bit more expensive compared to other places. read more
