He did a root canal on the wrong tooth and I ended up having 2 root canals on 2 teeth (upper and lower left). All root canals he did failed and caused severe abscesses. 3rd one was older but still less than 10 years and that also has abscess. Root canals performed correctly should last at least 10-15 years from what I researched. I'd run away from this office. His office took CT scan and his office almost charged me $50 for me to get copy of my CT scan. I reminded them that they made a mistake in doing root canals on the wrong tooth. So finally I got it free of charge. Unbelievable!!!

He needed an extensive amount of treatment and was understandably overwhelmed and anxious about the entire process. From the very beginning, Yvonne, the front desk manager, was nothing short of amazing. She truly goes above and beyond and sets the standard for what patient care and service should look like. She took the time to really understand how anxious my boyfriend, was and suggested treatment approaches that would accommodate his anxiety and make him feel as comfortable as possible. She consistently checks in with patients before and after their treatments to make sure they're doing well and to see how the office can continue to support them. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care made a huge difference for us. Dr. Huang and her entire staff were as equally incredible. They were attentive, compassionate, and took the time to make my boyfriend feel comfortable every step of the way. Honestly, each team member deserves their own five-star review. The office itself is equipped with advanced technology, and the environment is exceptionally clean, modern, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they prioritize both patient comfort and high-quality care. What impressed me most, not being a patient, was how thoughtfully they developed a treatment plan that allowed all the necessary work to be completed in the right timeframe and in the most efficient way possible. When we experienced a scary situation that required us to come in for an emergency visit, they accommodated us incredibly quickly. Even more impressive, Dr. Huang reassessed the situation and adjusted the treatment plan based on the change in circumstances. Many providers stick rigidly to their original plan, but she took the time to re-evaluate and make the best decision for his care. They also took it upon themselves to coordinate services and carefully plan our financial out-of-pocket costs so they would be as low as possible, while maximizing the available benefits between their office and the referring dental office. Because of this experience, my boyfriend has completely changed his opinion of the dentistry industry. wow, i am amazed by the quality of care and the softness of the staff. every team member i spoke to…read morewas very kind, professional, and helpful. they are also well staffed so wait times are short. this was my first visit and i was very grateful at how the providers listened and built a great treatment plan with me. my previous dentists were not as willing to work with me on a treatment plan. in the past, i had been concerned about my receding gum line. my most recent dentist, another private practice, had nothing to say. i got a second opinion and he said there was no concern, that my teeth were growing and elongating. well, fast forward to my visit at west covina dental, Dr Abu took a look at my x-rays and did advise there was a bit of bone and gum loss. finally, i don't feel crazy! it was wonderful to be taken seriously and have treatment to prevent further loss. periodontal services can cost a bit so if i can prevent it further, i will. my hygienist Maria Bonilla made sure the procedure was comfortable and enjoyable. she was a master with the tools and i seriously have never had cleaner teeth. i have quite a few follow ups and i am looking forward to having them as my dentist. shoutout to my dentist Dr Abu, my hygienist Maria Bonilla, Jasmine for finance and Angel for finance and front desk. everyone was awesome!!
