DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I used to come here regularly and the service and. Dental work was great, recently I decided to come back even though I dont live close by anymore, BIG MISTAkE. My husband has our insurance plan all taken care of so I know I have insurance and he called to make an appointment for me and let the woman know our insurance policy number the name of the insurer and that we were covered also asked her to verify the insurance before I drove down there which she said she did. Turns out She did not verify my insurance so when I got there, she was extremely rude to me. Made me sit down to fill and in front of everybody not even privately told me I need your Social Security number. She wrote it on a piece of scratch paper so I immediately felt weird by writing down my whole number. I didn't understand why she needed it, especially when I handed her my medical card from Mutual of Omaha., she told me Mutual of Omaha does not do dental insurance. Yes they do. She just didn't want to check.. She then proceeds to call the insurer I used to have only to find out that I was not covered through them, which is what I told her that I now had Mutual of Omaha dental again she told me they don't have dental insurance again. I told her they do and handed her my card at this point. I was very upset because all of this should've been verified before I even arrived.. I did not end up getting seen by the doctor and I have chosen to move to another dental place in Rancho Cucamonga instead, the front desk woman is extremely unprofessional does not know how to do her job and should not be asking people to write their Social Security numbers on random sheets of paper that are not even official. I would never come here again. She also asked my husband to take her phone number and said she had a special job for him, I was so shocked by this , she is sketchy AF!!! read more

The dentist is great, but the office manager/front desk is terrible. I had agreement with the dentist himself, but was quoted double by the front office manager and she was not willing to go off what the dentist agreed on. Front desk overcharges and rude. She then called me to get me to pay extra on top of what insurance paid because "it belongs to us." Customers beware- check your paperwork and agreements. read more

This is a delayed review. IMHO I am not satisfied with the work done by Dr. Rosales, after a year my crown at the molar split in half because it was made too thin. He said that I have a co-pay of $800 for root canal and crowning. Compare to my current dentist she don't ask me for any co-pay and the insurance covers the rest. The quality of work was great and I will never go back to Arrow Smile Dental again! Lessons learned ask any dentist if you have a co-pay, if they do? walk away and find someone else who doesn't rip you off. Please let's be professional here don't get mad at me. The doctor himself is nice but the lady in the front is so unprofessional!!! I overheard her tell a patient that this is America. Whether taken out of context or not this is unacceptable!!!! She was okay with speaking her language in front of patients but when two people (seemed to be a Spanish speaker and her translator) it's not okay!? I don't think she has the skills to be working with people! She should go back to school or not work if she's so unprofessional. Highest recommendation for Dr. Victor Rosales and his team here at Arrow Smile Dental this review includes a ***personal anecdote I live 30 miles away from his dental office but that doesn't stop me from returning. Their staff is predominantly filipino, and what we filipinos do best is to create a hospitable environment to all guest. Clean and up to date facility with an in-house Panoramic x-ray and Crown molder(no longer needing to wait weeks as some facilities send them from a lab) also plenty of parking. Scheduling an appointment is a breeze with a very communicable receptionist team ensuring you get your reminders. Dr. Rosales always greets with a friendly smile and takes an interest in your life outside of the office. He takes his professionalism seriously and will provide you his best recommendations. With any procedure you take on, his goal is to make it as comfortable and painless as possible. He takes pride in what he does. My last dentist had a heavier set of hands and I could feel the weight in my mouth. But Dr. Rosales has some pretty light hands. ***Most recently we have been watching a tooth of mine with suspicion of trauma causing a growing infection. He did some tests along with x-rays to confirm that the tooth is "dead" and would strongly recommend a root canal. This would be my first major dental procedure and I was a bit afraid but the staff reminded me that Root Canals is his specialty. So I was able to quickly set an appointment a few days later with them accommodating my busy schedule. The day came and my procedure ended with a breeze. My favorite part about it was that he took my pain seriously, stopping immediately to provide me with more numbing as necessary. Funny thing, I didnt understand why people cringe when I tell them I had a root canal done earlier that same day. I had a plesent experience, I can't imagine trusting any place else but here. Im here again, as they took some images of my recently root canal tooth and waiting for my crown (which I watched get made in front of me) to come out of the oven. Currently fully reclined on a dental chair with the option of watching a full selection of movies but I chose to dim the lights and relax while I take the time and write a detailed review as a thank you to their excellence. They charging $878 for a root canal only with no crown when insurance says the max they should charge is $525. They are overcharging by about $350 just because they want to. Realistically insurance said I only need to pay under $200 with insurance and Arrow Smile Dental is claiming with insurance I still need to pay $700. Stay away from this place. I would really not recommend it. They are just trying to take advantage of the clients. UPDATE: went to another dentist like the receptionist told me to after I declined her excessively high prices and I paid $940 for root canal AND crown. Really good service! The staff and drs were very friendly. The dr who did my cleaning did an amazing job and I felt very comfortable. Even when it was closing time and the receptionist was in a hurry to go home (but it's understandable because it's closing time and she has a family) , the owner/ dr took his time to help me with finance options for braces which I was grateful for. Another satisfying visit here at the clinic of Doctor Rosales! Hands down the best treatment I ever received. The entire staff is very welcoming and always makes you feel like family. You check in, watch some tv and in you go to see the doctor. All the equipment and high tech gadgets they use all look brand new. You even get to choose from hundreds of movies and cartoons to watch while you are in the chair. The entire clinic is so clean and modern. The most important thing I have to say, is that I have never been treated by Doctor Rosales with any complaints. He has very light and skillful hands which provides the most comfortable experience no matter what type of procedure I have ever got done. I am pretty sure they can do almost any type of procedure, because of all the equipment and space they have. I even get a goodie bag for my teeth when I leave. I highly recommend this. The staff is very courteous. The dentist is very knowledgable and very helpful. Had to bring my wife in on a Saturday and they were able to schedule us for 4pm. Right at 4 she was already in the chair and the doctor was seeing her. We came in today for her 4pm and right when we walked in she was taken to the back. This place is very good about their schedule; yet still take the needed time to handle everything. The place is very clean and looks beautiful inside. I'd rather go to a dentist that is clean like this one, rather to some I've been to with dust everywhere. We are bring both of our daughters later this week for their check ups and cleanings. My son went to have a check up before his insurance was going to expire he was not seen by Dr. Vic , who ever it was told him he had 15 cavities he told him he was just there 6 months ago and had not one from the xrays doctor Vic. took and how could that be? He was told that DR. VIC must have overlook them??????So he went to another dentist to take xrays to get a second opinion they told him he did not have one cavitie??????? Dr. Victor Rosales has been taking care of my teeth since 2004 back in the Philippines and here since 2006. I know it's very hard to entrust your oral care to just any doctor, but Doc Vic gained my trust easily. The dental office has a very welcoming atmosphere and not to discount the accommodating staff, backed up with excellent personal skills, extensive scientific knowledge and state of the art dental equipments. I typically think through a review before posting but I feel mad as hell and passionate about this that I feel like it should be said in this forum. It begins like this: the other night my tooth start hurting so i realized it was time to find a dentist nearby. After reading reviews on Dr Rosales I decided to call hoping to get a next day appointment. I spoke to a lady who was a little unprofessional with a heavy accent but thought nothing of it. She scheduled me for the next day which was for today Friday. I took the day off to have my tooth looked at. First and foremost, I never thought it was considered an emergency. Though I explained in a way that I made it seem to be kind of urgent not once did I say it was an emergency. Nevertheless I made my way and was seen by Dr Rosales. He's a nice man and patient. He started the treatment but first he reviewed my costs and what the insurance was covering. Ok so I said this is fine. He went ahead and treated my issue making the crown on site and a couple of hours later I was done. So I make my way out to see the receptionist who turns out to be the lady who had answered the phone the day before and then she explains that I had to pay my portion right there on the spot which was $450.00. I asked her to invoice me and she said no that I had to pay now. And that it was explained to me. My response was my cost was explained to me but at no time it was with clarity said that it needed to be paid today. I went on to say that had it been made clear terms that payment was due today I would have thought twice. Since this is a predominantly phillipino business and maybe there is a communication gap at what is thought to be stated as to what is really be said I can honestly say that they DID NOT explain the payment date. Again, my intention is not to denigrate Dr Rosales business but I want to tell him that he needs to be clear on when actual payment is due and invoicing is not an option. Long story short after 30 embarrassing minutes of getting into it with the said receptionist and with patients seated and listening we came to an understanding. This office may have all the bells and whistles with the CEDEC crown maker but you will be paying for all of their high tech toys! I will warn anyone who thinks about using their services to avoid this place. I for one will not come back and hope folks will not too. Stay clear of Dr Rosales and his staff who rudely speak in Tagalog so you won't understand them and find another dentist! Update: the dental office has been kind enough to correct the onlay issue at no charge. I think my earlier assessment was a bit harsh. They are good folks with a simple misunderstanding on my part. I will keep going to Dr Rosales as he and his team are really good at what they do. read more

Does good work. Had some fillings done and and a few crowns done. They felt strange as if I had something stuck to my teeth but after a few days felt as if they were my natural teeth. Just had my wisdom tooth removed and I felt no pain during the removal process. It was mainly just pressure and was better than the pain I felt before coming to get it fixed. read more

My crown came out twice and im pis!!!! Take your money some where else!!!! This is the worst dentist in the area. Customer service is fake, they just want your money. This guy should go back to dentist school some more before he opened his business. My crown came out twice not to mention the time that i have been back and forth to his office to fix it.( which he is not happy to fix it) Plus the pain and sensitivity of teeth due to the lack of skills and knowledge. I went to discuss this with other dentists and they all said that who ever make my crown and filling has not done a very shitty job. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Rosales by mistake he was walking by me and heard me telling my husband my mouth was in so much pain. He told me excuse me, "I am a dentist and you really should take your mouth seriously. Go to your personal dentist right away." I told him I go to May Valley Dental and they are the worst. He gave me his card and said when your ready come in. A few weeks past and I woke up with a huge abscess in my mouth. I went to May Valley Dental and they took an X-ray and told me they had to pull three teeth and add a bridge. I ran the hell out of that place and my husband told my to call Dr. Rosales. I did and went in he explained it was really bad, but wanted to try and save my teeth. He didn't want me to pay for a bridge when he can fix it for less. Within two visits, I was fixed! And, no teeth were pulled. He fixed my mouth for less than half the cost May Valley Dental was quoting me and I got to keep my own teeth. He never does any work he doesn't need to and he also explains the X-rays to me as he has them up. Dr Rosales and his team treat me like family. My mom now is his patient and she hadn't seen a dentist in 15 years. I have referred several friends and family members and they all love the whole team at Arrow Smile. l am so grateful Dr.Rosales felt his ethical need to chime in when he heard me talking to my husband.
