Low maintenance & the kids had a blast. Christian was so helpful to us with moving tables, clean up & most of all made sure no one was left out which is i was worried about. He made it go smooth & relaxed. We will 100% do a party here again!

10/25/2022 -- So after attempting to post this to the review page of Aspire gymnastics on Facebook…read more-- I was casually blocked from posting a review. Hm...convenient timing. so then my mom posted it and it just naturally disappeared. So I'll share it everywhere else that I can. DO NOT ATTEND ASPIRE GYMNASTICS. I attended Aspire gymnastics academy (Joliet) growing up and have ALWAYS recommended and loved these people and this gym. I went there for YEARS. After having some personal issues and I needed to speak to the owner about dropping classes for the next month (my email was sent less then 24 hours after the drop date). I repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience and was explaining how we had all intentions of coming back in the future. That I simply received the email a day after and replied immediately upon receiving it, and apologized for receiving it a day late somehow as i also had gotten a new phone and this was happening with other things also. I was screamed at, disrespected, and after she agreed to drop the class, she then took that back and refused to even continue the phone call. Said she was flagging my account for being problematic and nearly hung up on me. She began yelling and downplaying our personal issues to being my fault. At one point she literally told me to stop talking. I have never been so disappointed by a place I have repeatedly praised to family, friends, and more in the past. Thankfully, I recorded the entire call. Apparently, I'll be receiving a call back tomorrow and hopefully it's from someone more professional. 10/26/2022: Aspire Gymnastics couldn't even give me that call back I was promised. Got a great email about how "she tried to reason with me" last time I checked business owners don't yell, scream, and blatantly disrespect their customers. DO NOT ATTEND ASPIRE.

I am really satisfied with Premier West. I see that some people think the coaches are hard on the kids, but I don't really see that. I think they could push my daughter a little more. She was often getting bored not being pushed to challenge herself or learn something new. I am glad to say that the coaches did notice this as well and pushed her up into the next class level before I was able to bring it up to them. She is much happier in her new class level and is being challenged to meet new goals. They are also very nice to the girls. My daughter loves her coach and is excited to see her every week. The gym is busy with people. So that must show that they are doing something right. Premier offers many class options and they have reasonable sized classes. The classes are not too large where kids get over looked. We searched the local area for other options before picking Premier and for the price, this is the best place by far. They allow you to make up classes if you miss, many other places don't do that. So your child can take a break if needed and not fall behind, plus you never really feel like your money is wasted when you miss a class.

On the first day, one of the ladies in the office was really hospitable and showed us around. I also got to meet the owner that day, who I had seen out around the community. I was most impressed with the coaches: Nolan, Isaiah, and others. Coach Nolan often stood at the gym door welcoming the students at drop-off and then again at the end of the day with keeping tabs with pick-up. He was always friendly and helpful, often encouraging the kids. They were also detail-oriented in the office, calling the first day to get any remaining forms signed. They also called one day when my son was a little scared after getting a very minimal bloody lip. They just wanted to make me aware, and then they sat with him and encouraged him to keep at it. Pretty impressive that that was the only thing he had when basically doing a 30 hr ninja camp. My son definitely loved the camp. After 6 hours each day, he was drenched in sweat at pick-up and slept hard every night! Thanks for making it a great experience for him and for us! I always felt like he was in good hands.

A great recreational gym! (I can't speak for competitive since my daughter is not old enough to…read morecompete yet) AAG keeps growing and growing! I've been going to AAG for 3(+/-) years. My daughter has participated in multiple different classes. Pros: -For the most part the owners listen to feedback from parents (Within reason of course!). After many complaints of a crowded parent area they expanded to the warehouse next door. Recently they have upgraded from uncomfortable metal folding chairs to newer chairs and added some tables. Other feedback that I've seen AAG turn into improvements would be expanding the old parent area to provide additional seating and storage areas, and also adding additional viewing windows in the parent area so parents can watch classes easier. -They keep adding more classes, and a variety of classes. Multiple levels of recreational classes, Ninja, Preschool classes, daytime classes for preschool and home school, boys gymnastics, high school prep, tumbling, competitive team, and more. There is something for everyone. -Recreational classes are competitive in price with other gyms. Cons: -Like most teachers, everyone has a different way of teaching. Some coaches seem to have an easier time teaching students a skill than other teachers. Another thing I have noticed is that the classes don't seem very structured. Some coaches focus more on conditioning than others. These are not necessarily bad things, but they are inconsistencies I have noticed. -Keeping on the topic of coaches, with the exception of a few coaches who have been there for a few years, it seems to be a revolving door. Some coaches come in and are there for a month, then they're gone. -One complaint I've heard a few times is a gymnast being in the same class for some time with little to no improvement on skills. In one instance, two of the individuals had been in the class for about two years and were disappointed that they had not learned as much as they hoped. This could be for a number of reasons- the "revolving door" of coaches, the coaching inconsistencies, gymnasts not practicing/conditioning outside of class, etc. Sometimes it does seem like a slow learning process. Some skills are difficult to achieve and require taking that extra step. Overall, I think AAG is a great gym that has potential to become a well known gym in the area. They keep investing in new equipment and upgrading their facilities. People seem to like the gym because they keep coming back! As I mentioned before, AAG keeps growing and growing. The reason they keep growing and growing is because they are good at what they do.

They have space for parents to relax and wait with awesome gymnastics gear available for purchase. Tina was sitting behind the front desk and was very helpful and answered all of my questions. They also have a toddler room available separate from the main gymnasium that the older girls practice in. The coaches were hands on and very patient with beginners but also challenging the most accelerated girls. This place is a hidden gem! Pricing is reasonable as well! We will be signing her up for many more classes!

For my little one, it's not that important but her 2 friends dropped out after begging week after week not to return. The instruction is great- there is just zero teacher - child relationship. My daughter works with about 5 staff weekly. None know her name and she doesn't know theirs. It's run like a factory and these kids rotate from station to station to learn skills. My daughter has learned a lot so we are fine with keeping her enrolled here. On another note, the birthday parties are fun but the staff are not at all helpful to the parents of the party during the food/ cake time in the lobby. Kind of an outga to see the 3 staff gossiping in the gym while the party parents are passing out food, supplies to 20 little ones. I have to add 2 stars My daughter really loves this place and the instruction there. It is her favorite activity of her week. They seem to have fixed my previous complaint with the classes and they now have 1 teacher assigned to her leveled group. When she said " mommy, said if our trip this summer gets canceled due to the coronavirus than I can go to Ik gymnastics camp for a whole week!" I knew this place deserved a higher rating. 5 stars IK. My daughter wouldn't give you anything less.

See my review on google with the email exchange. We received not about payment for classes, which I missed (and I admit to be scatterbrained) and this happened previously; so, I understand. They then sent an email saying that we needed to "pay or be banned", and I emailed back that I was confused as we have never been to their gym (so, how could we be banned). And then they decided to note when we last visited their website (2 weeks ago). I asked for clarification again - saying if we pay we are but if we don't we are banned or we were just banned. When my husband chimed in to ask if we could pay immediately, we received another baffling email.
