Dr. Forghani took the time to answer all of my questions and talked me through all the pros and cons of doing it now vs. waiting. The procedure itself was relatively quick and the only painful part was really the numbing shots on both sides. My dentist told me, unequivocally, that I should see Dr. Bui and she called his office to arrange an appointment as soon as possible. I have some major surgeries coming up and I need my teeth to be healthy for intubation, to eliminate infection risk, etc. At 9am the next morning I was in his office. Rayza was at the front desk. Such a sweet, professional, incredibly kind and patient woman. Of course I was terrified, and she put me at ease right away. Thank you Rayza! I was shown to the procedure room and met Nichelle and Dr Bui. Nichelle wiped the tears of fear I had running down my cheek before they got started working on me. I had no idea what it would feel like, and my gosh I was scared. Quickly I discovered there would be no barbaric pain, no pain at all. In fact, Dr Bui took exceptional care in administering numbing gel, and allowing it time to do it's thing, before numbing the entire area by injection, which didn't hurt at all. He even made sure that I was numb enough by placing something cold on the tooth to check. I did feel something and he gave me a numbing injection at the roof of my mouth to take care of that. The point is, he makes sure you are comfortable and won't experience any pain. I felt the movement of the files in my mouth and was blown away by how patient Dr. Bui was with each root in the tooth. There are usually three roots, but with his 3D Panoramic Scanner he discovered a 4th root in this one tooth, and went in to complete that one too. Thorough. And the precision? Outstanding hands. I can only imagine all the training and years it took to get as good at this as he is. Thank you Dr. Bui. One last Big Thank you to Nichelle. May the world show you the kindness you showed me. I was told that it is a serious problem that can progress rapidly and that it was very possible that I could lose the tooth so I went to Dr. Han. Dr. Han very patiently and simply explained to me the process that was going on inside of my tooth as well as her plan to fix it. Her practice also utilizes the latest and greatest in CT scanning technology which allowed her to see exactly where and how big the problem was and how to best approach correcting it. I've had the unfortunate experience of requiring a bit of dental work in my time and I can confidently say that when it came time to undergo the procedure Dr. Han gave the most painless experience I've ever had. One of the numbing injections she had to give was in the hard palate which is normally very painful but she has a method that really minimizes the discomfort. After the injections I didn't feel a thing for the rest of the procedure. Add to that short wait times and a friendly staff and you really couldn't ask for more from a dental office. I am beyond happy with the results and I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Han to anyone with dental or endodontic needs. She saved my tooth and with that she saved my smile.
