When 1st starting to go there it was very nice. I notice I was 1 one of the few black customers which didn't bother me. I was pampered. As the services continued noticed stopping of lotion Pamper on my hands when service was completed even when I brought good lotion to replace the now empty bottle. I went in on Sunday for a pedicure. I opted for the spa pedicure for $47 that included a massage (the best part). My pedicure turned out looking great. I called earlier in the day to ask about availability. They suggested I come at 2:30. I arrived a few minutes early but they didn't take me until several minutes after my appointment. Once seated in the massage chair the guy started the water Initially it felt fine. A few minutes later the water became too hot so I removed my feet. It took several minutes for the guy to come back before he coule adjust the water. By that time it took a while to add cold water to cool off the water. The only other part I wasn't a fan of is when they put the hot towels on your feet. Everytime they initially put it on, it slightly burns the top of my toes leaving them red. Once I tell them it's too hot theu take it off, shake it out to cool and put it back. Even then it is a little too hot but tolerable. Overall, the pedicure isn't bad. read more

I am livid I showed the manicurist a set of nails with a picture reference. She painted my nails white. I requested blue. When she initially began to paint them white I checked in with her and confirmed that she would paint blue over the white she said yes and continued working. She continued to paint my nails white. I reiterated two more time that I would like blue nails. She continued to ignore my request. As the service continued I request gem stones as a design. On the first nail she applied individual dots of glue then placed the gems on top. This mail turned out great. On the next nail she didn't use any glue. I asked her why she decided not to use glue. She told me it was too hard for her and it took up too much time ? I asked that she please use glue underneath and to please slow down and take her time as I feel she began to rush as walk ins started to come in. She proceeded to put nail glue overtop of the gemstones. It looks terrible you can see the globs of glue are ping and over top of the gem. She placed a top coat and filed my nails and as I sat in the chair 4 gemstones came off of my nail! Not only did she charge me $20 additional dollars for gems that are actively falling off on day 1 of my $85 manicure but she also painted them the wrong color. When I asked why she refused to paint them blue she told me that she painted them white because blue would look bad. I explained to her I came to the salon for a requested service, not for her opinion. She felt like she could choose on my behalf and said if I didn't like it she would remove the nails for a charge. Very clean, modern salon. I was promptly seated and manicure was well done however a bit pricier than your average salon. However, I am a sucker for GOOD customer service and this salon is lacking. The male salon tech was rude and rushed. It did not make for an inviting or relaxed experience. For this reason I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I have gone to this Nail Salon for 3 years, the nail techs are amazing. It has taken many appointments for me to figure out what I THINK is the problem.... The Owner (Joe) who answers the phone and also does nails should NOT DO NAILS I have had service done bye him and it has been rushed, nails never stayed good for 3 weeks, Joe has hurt my fingers several times.....he always rushes anything he is working on Manicures, Pedicures, etc., the last time he did my pedicure I asked for someone to do my manicure and he gave me an attitude. I have been going here for a long time and have been satisfied with my nails (usually pedicures). However, lately anytime I walk in they rarely have availability nor do they even ask for me to schedule another time. So I started to call to make an appointment which is also difficult if you're trying to get in soon. The man who answers the phone and usually greets you when you come in is usually ride, or I'd say not friendly. Last time he did my pedicure and rushed very quickly through (a $65 dollar pedicure). I've been here 2 times for waxing, and they were prompt and fine. Went back on a Sunday afternoon to get a gel manicure, and they had 3 people working. There were 2 people in front of me. They put the chemicals on my nails and wrapped them and told me to "wait a minute." 15 minutes in, my fingers are burning. After 30 minutes, I figured it was too long to have the chemicals on, but they aren't making much progress on the line, so I took them off myself. After almost 45 minutes, I told them I couldn't wait an hour [just to get in a chair], and the guy tells me, "well then we can't see you then." I've been in VERY BUSY salons before that 1) tell you if the wait will be extensive, so you can choose whether or not to stay 2) are fully staffed on a "busy" day and 3) are at least somewhat polite about customer interactions. I'm sure they were overwhelmed by the customer load, but I also think it was inconsiderate on their part to assume I wanted to spend 2 hours at their salon just to get a gel manicure. read more

Over the weekend I saw a sign posted outside about the new dip nails. I went in to inquire but the information was very minimal and confusing. I opted for the dip nails @ $40 and pedicure for $30. The person that did both did not engage in any conversation whatsoever. Never asked name, how I was, etc. The pedicure was adequate, but the dip nails were very disappointing. A few of the nails were put on crooked. She claims that my nails were crooked?? Never had a problem with straight nails in over 30 years of getting tips? They do nothing to offer the fix the problem. I should have only paid for the pedicure, but I am too nice. But, I would like to warn anyone else not to patronize this nail salon. Poor customer service and poor quality work. read more

I've been here before but recently I took my daughter and mother and booked an appt. for 3 people for pedicures. They did not seat all of us at the same time, what's the point of an appointment. They left my daughter, who is 4 waiting for 30 minutes just to paint her toenails. The technician was rude and unfriendly to children. He could have just answered her questions and appeased her. Bad first experience for her. I would have ripped into him and the poor service if my daughter wasn't there. If you have children don't take them there and don't bother with appointments. I've been coming here for about 2 years now and I absolutely love Dawn. She takes her time and does a really nice job on my nails. I have booked appointments through the Facebook app and have gotten a couple appointments messed up so I got Dawn's number and just book thru her now. One of my appointments that got messed up and I had to see Joe. He rushed through my nails so quickly and I had a lot of them break on me quickly. The staff is friendly and they personally check you out at the register before you leave so you don't have to track them down to give them their tip. I gave it 4 stars because it's a tiny bit pricey. Let me start by saying they are one of the worse nail places to go in Pasadena area. The nails they do aren't clean and they look like awful. Don't even try to ask them to do a design cause you're going to end up having a blob on your nail. But I also just called to make an appointment because my friends and I needed to get our nails done early and they were the place that opened the earliest. There was going to be 5 of us, so when I called to make the appointment I started by asking how many people they normally have working when they first open. The guy on the other side answered about 6 or 7 so In my brain I was thinking PERFECT!!!! So I continued to ask If I could make an appointment for 5 people and the guy got very angry and cut me off before I would even finish what I was saying and I hear him say "we cant do that, bye" LIKE SIRRRRRR I WAS NOT DONE TALKING TO YOU, DO NOT SAY BYE LIKE THAT BEFORE I EVEN FINISH MY SENTENCE!! As I was still try to talk and finish the conversation I keep hearing him try to cut me off and say bye. He was so rude to me after I asked to make the appointment and got an attitude with me when I would ask him questions. Like I completely understand not being able to take in 5 people when you first open, that's 100% understandable, but do NOT get an attitude and definitely do NOT keep cutting me off over and over again. Gel French manicure peeled off after 1 day. When I went back to have it repaired, they were so rude. Poor nail and customer service.

She also gives great bikini waxes - fast and painless. 4 stars instead of 5 because my gel manis only last, at most, a week. Hard to justify the price of gel when the place I used before I moved lasted almost 3 weeks! But I love the friendly, clean atmosphere at Dynasty. Went here for the first time about a week ago, had a pedicure done, they were very busy didn't wait to long, I hadn't had a pedicure in awhile apologized to the girl ,she told that it was OK she's seen worse ,unlike other nail salons that I've been to in the past they were very friendly talked to you, everyone that was getting their pedicures done we were all talking the nail Tech's never talked to each in their language, (don't know about you but that makes me feel very uncomfortable, always think that they're talking about my feet, like I said it had been awhile), I also explained to the girl that I was very ticklish on my feet to go easy that I haven't enjoyed pedicures in the past because of this, she was very gentle and gave me the best foot massage that i have ever had,making it a very relaxing experience. The male owner of the salon was very rude and unprofessional about my super short nails. I have been biting my nails for too long, so I got them done. He made a scene, made me switch to a different technician (whom was not a jerk, so I tipped her well) and said "they can't look like that." I am from New York and that really doesn't jive with me.
