My two friends and I wanted to get our nails done and I found this place on Yelp. We gave them a try, and I'm so glad we did! We each did a gel manicure, it was $38. I asked for a different color nail on my ring finger and it didn't phase them. The person doing my nails was so nice and gentle on my fingers, even though my nails weren't that long. I'm used to pain during the cuticle cutting and the shaping but she didn't hurt me at all. My nails are super cute and I'm happy. Definitely recommend! I love this little family owned nail salon. Sure it's not fancy by any means. You don't have updated furniture, decorations and paint. Instead you receive amazing service and a great manicure at a great value. The owner is the sweetest lady and all of the employees do an equally fantastic job. You never feel rushed or like they are impatient. You rarely leave with crooked acrylics. I'm not allowed to get pedicures anymore but I've heard they are wonderful from others in the salon. I'm here right now. I hesitate to write this because this is easily the best kept secret in SP. The nail technicians take their time. Let me repeat: they take. Their. Time. There is no rush to squeeze in the next guest, or bump you out of the pedicure chair, etc. they give the best massages and their Spa Pedicure is hands down better than any other local spots (I know because I've tried them all). The decor is dated (not like the place up the street), they don't usually have the TV on and the wifi is spotty, but it's worth it for sure for the quality pedicure that lasts weeks instead of days. read more

This place has horrible customer service, I will never go back! I started with a lady who seemed to have an attitude the moment we walked in. She didn't listen to what I wanted but I just let her do her thing. I wanted an acrylic full set, as she started working my fingers started to burn...I realized I was having a reaction to the solution and asked her to stop and remove them. My fingers were swelling and turning red as she started to take them off and she was rude about it. I ended up with no service done because of the reaction, I go to pay for a service done on someone I came with and then realized they charged me $25 for my situation. I can understand maybe $10 for product but she only did 5 nails before I had her stop. I would not recommend this place. Also the service they did on my guest was rushed. So disappointed! read more

I've come to LC NAILS three times. First experience was fantastic. There were really attentive to my friend and me. They did a great job. The second time I came here was painful and there was blood. No explanation nor apology. A different woman took care of me that time. Today they scheduled my appointment for 3 PM. I waited 20 minutes and finally asked them if they have a timeframe for me? They just looked at me like they didn't know what I was talking about. I said my appointment was at three. They said MAYBE another 15 minutes. I wondered if it was 15 minutes or another 30 minutes. Clearly they weren't going to be honest. With all due respect, I understand things happen and sometimes schedules are not on time. But why wouldn't they have said hey, we're running 30 to 45 minutes late. Do you want to come back or reschedule or are you good waiting? But nothing. Just blank stares. I love my nail tech at Bella Luxe, and the spa like amenities. At end of the day when your polish always bubbles a day or more after you leave, or the gel peels right away so you then go back to acrylic only to have it pull up off of the nail and pieces chip off it doesn't matter that your tech is nice or the place is a little posh. There's something wrong with their techniques or products. Your wasting your time and your money. Paying almost $50 for a nail service that lasts at its best 7 days is disheartening. I found LC Nails from the few but consistent reviews on Yelp. I walked into a clean and modest space and took quick notice that there weren't full seats so from a covid perspective I felt far safer. I do also feel more compelled to support local businesses getting less traffic right now. I had no idea who I'd get but made an appointment and was also pleasantly surprised I wasn't kept waiting like I often am because other nail salons seem to jam in as many clients as possible. They don't seem to care that your tech might have an appointment commitment. It's like they force walk ins on your tech right before your arrival. I watched he mr work without much hope that my nails would fair any better. She was meticulous and I watched the clock because it seemed to take longer. I felt she spent about 15 minutes extra on me and I started to feel even better about my decision. Everyone was just as nice, and I felt their prices were better yet I got more for making the switch. I'm now over 2 weeks and chose holiday red. Only now is that red getting a little dull/ruddy and the gap in my cuticle showing. I think anyone looking for an appointment at the time they make it, great personal service, and beautiful nails should try this place out without hesitation. I was moved almost to tears by the kindness the staff at LC Nails showed to my 86-year-old mother-in-law yesterday. She has trouble walking so I called ahead to ask if I could get some help getting her into the spa chair. When we arrived, 3 nail techs greeted us at the curb with a regular chair on wheels and helped her from the car to the chair. Then, instead of taking the risk of helping her climb up into the spa chair, they brought the pedicure down to her level. Cherry took excellent care of her from there. I've been only once so maybe this is a premature review. But I loved my experience. Clean, friendly staff, I did a regular (not gel) mani + pedi for $51 before tip. The pedi was excellent. They really spend time on exfoliating along with a nice massage; not at all a rush job. The mani was nice too but not as comprehensive. They truly take care of you and ALWAYS take their time. They believe in reflexology and the pedicures and waxing services are phenomenal!!! They don't cut corners or add~on frivolous charges for cut downs and are extremely nice if you change your mind about your polish color or smudging your nails. They have all the latest up to date nail styles (chrome, color changing gels, permanent french and colored tips) You always get a cold water with your pedis and they also have free snacks. My mom and I really enjoyed our pedicures from Lynn and Kelly! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were taken to our seats immediately after picking colors even though the spa was pretty busy. We got the Ice Dancer pedis and they were so relaxing, the whole process took about an hour and fifteen minutes. The massages are not the thirty second low effort kind like many in the area. One thing to note is that they do not have a huge color selection so if you're looking for something specific you might be better off bringing your own color. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this spa as a whole but especially Lynn and Kelly. read more

I am trying to find my new "go-to" after moving and saw this place had good reviews. This is a small run-down salon off of Ritchie Highway. While they did a good job on my pedi and gel mani, I will not be returning unfortunately as the store itself is the dirtiest I've ever seen in a nail salon. Dust and chips of nail polish cover the desk, tools, chairs, etc. The whole shop is falling apart and outdated (literally, the paint and walls were crumbling). I was nervous to get my nails done once I realized the level of filth as I didn't want to get some sort of infection from the tools. I probably should of left, but felt too bad getting up and leaving. As I mentioned, I really thought they did a good job on my nails, and the pedi massage was the longest I've ever had, but I just couldn't comfortably return knowing the lack of cleanliness. read more
