Nothing makes me pop out of bed at 5:30am quicker then knowing I signed up for a body pump class with Jennifer Roberts. I have been an EOS member since they took over the old Golds Gym location on Gilbert and Baseline. I've done my fair share of group fitness classes but to be honest I have never cared for them much mostly because I don't like being told what to do lol. Jennifer is absolutely insane in the best way. Her classes are not for the faint of heart but if you push through it I promise it will be one of the best workouts you ever had. Her playlist is super fun, she engages with the class and remembers names and encourages you to sing or give a woot woot. 10/10 would recommend Jennifer Roberts to anyone needing a challenging fun workout that has you coming back for more! read more

The entire company is shady. They don't pay their trainers (of the $70 you pay for a session the trainer only gets $18.50). The general managers take all the commissions for themselves. District and regional management is run by a bunch of coked out, sexually frustrated, slimy salesman. They openly joke about letting things get outside of the right of rescission window, love when their salesmen sell shady accounts and scam people for all they are worth. The company is owned by an investment company so all they care about is numbers, numbers, numbers. read more

I've been a client of EOS for a while now and enjoy their classes and cinema rooms. A couple weeks ago, I went in for my FREE body scan and was offered to do a personal training intro session for $19. I agreed to complete the one class only. I was extremely adamant about NOT wanting to continue classes with both Brandon, who signed me up, as well as my trainer Jeremiah. My trainer said he didn't know anything about canceling my future classes and to talk to the front desk. The front desk put me with a sales associate, who took my information and said he would talk to Brandon the following day. I never received a call back and I never see Brandon at the gym. As of today, I was charged $88 for personal training that I never agreed to and went out of my way to avoid from happening. I called the gym and was told to go online to put an inquiry in and someone will contact me in 24 hours. I did this and am now waiting to cancel my gym membership completely. What needs improved? Communication between personal trainers and sales associates. Train your employees to know how to cancel future training sessions. Have a manager available who will actually return clients phone calls. read more

I have been reaching out on a monthly basis regarding billing issues. I dealt with Leon the "General Manager" requesting for 2 of my 4 family memberships to be cancelled. Per my last conversation with him I was supposed to get a refund for over charges because I "fell through the cracks". This month I come to find out all my memberships have been cancelled and nobody is available to talk to. I've never been so disappointed with the lack of customer service. read more

I signed up for the personal trainer because they said the trainer would "work with my schedule" but I never received a call to schedule an appointment and when I called to set one up he never called me back and I ended up paying over $300 for NOTHING. when I called to complain they acted like it was my fault for not changing my work schedule (even though the entire reason I signed up was because they guaranteed the trainers schedule is based around the client needs). read more

EOS is clean, the staff are friendly and the equipment well maintained. I use the pool and am able to switch pools during the colder months when one gym's water temperature is maintained warmer and can switch to another pool during the summer when colder temperatures are personally required. Both choices maintain a consistent temperature. read more

Haven't been to the gym in over 2 years, was told if I open a new membership that my old one would go away and would cancel out my existing one and then I can cancel a month after, I did this and am just now receiving a bill from collections. Since I've attended this so-called "raunchy" gym, I've noticed that everywhere I go, all the cleaning materials near the equipment always seem to be empty. The bathrooms have broken toilets, grime on the walls, and an overall lack of upkeep. Half the equipment is either missing bolts or taped off, clearly not being repaired anytime soon. As for the kid services--they do the absolute bare minimum. I was sold on this place at first, but sure enough, after just a few weeks, their true colors showed: careless staff, and kids not being watched the way they should be. I'm already planning on finding a new gym nearby--one that actually provides the basic services I'm paying for. And on top of all that, they won't even let you cancel in person. Instead, you're handed a number to call--and even getting that feels like pulling teeth, as if they're hoping you'll just give up and stay. Zero stars. - Marco V. read more

I have had membership at this gym since almost its opening day. In all those years, they have never cleaned the walls in the pool room. You can see the grunge especially around the hooks on the walls for pool towels. I have asked them many times over the years, but you can tell that they have still never been cleaned!! I've going to share this review because my recent experience at EOS gym was deeply disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable. As a new mother it took a lot of courage for me to step back into a gym after years of not going. I was hopeful that EOS would be a welcoming and supportive place to restart my fitness journey, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I signed up online for a 7-day free pass using my phone number and email. The process seemed smooth, and I even received a follow-up call from Stephanie, who confirmed my request and asked when I'd like to start. I appreciated the prompt communication and decided to head to the gym right away. When I arrived, I was greeted by a staff member (whose name I can't recall). I explained that I had been a member years ago but hadn't been to the gym in a long time. I also mentioned that I only had 45 minutes to look around and get a quick workout in before picking up my son. Instead of respecting my time and intentions, he proceeded to give me a tour, ask about my fitness goals, and then pressured me to sign up for a membership on the spot. I was polite and allowed him to do his thing because I know it's his job to do that. I kindly declined signing up just yet. I repeatedly told him that I just wanted to get a feel for the gym again and that I was also considering LA Fitness. Instead of listening, he aggressively compared EOS to LA Fitness, claiming it was more expensive and inferior. He continued to push me to sign up, even after I clearly stated multiple times that I was not ready to commit. To make matters worse, after entering my phone number, he informed me that I wasn't eligible for the 7-day pass because I had been a member before. This was extremely frustrating because I had already disclosed that information when I walked in. Why was I allowed to sign up online and receive a confirmation call if I wasn't eligible? It felt like a waste of my time and energy. The entire interaction was pushy, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. I felt like I was being treated as a sales target rather than a potential member. As someone who was already nervous about returning to the gym, this experience left me feeling disrespected and discouraged. If he would have let me get a workout in and feel good about that I likely would have signed up, and I wanted to go to the body pump class tomorrow and bring a friend who was going to sign up too. What's most disappointing is that it showed me EOS doesn't prioritize the comfort and safety of its members. For me, going to the gym isn't just about fitness--it's about feeling safe and supported in taking care of my body and mind. Instead, this experience made it clear that it's all about the numbers and how many memberships they can sell in a day. If EOS doesn't offer 7-day passes to previous members, that policy should be clearly stated online, and the system should prevent ineligible people from signing up. Additionally, staff should respect when someone says they're not ready to commit instead of pressuring them into a sale. This experience has shown me that EOS is more focused on making a sale than creating a welcoming environment for people trying to improve their health. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone who values a positive, pressure-free experience. read more

For the love of god, PLEASE get another Smith machine, with MORE movable benches. I literally have to sit and wait for 1 out of the 2 machines to open up. And there is only 1 movable benches to use between the 2 of them? Whose idea was it to have only 2 Smith Machines, and only 1 bench? By far the most annoying part of being a member at this gym. Get rid of the machines people never touch, and bring in more Smith machines. Literally just waited 25 minutes standing around for one of them to open up. RIDICULOUS. Gym looks ok, it is the business side that is scummy. New to area and registered for 7 days free trial. Got 2x texts per day, and email with offers! Did not take their, "Super Special Zero dollars to sign up!" on day one. Told I wasn't welcome on day 4. Front desk told me to turn around and leave. Sammy is a real sweet guy! Was looking for a good starter gym for me and my freind, upon entering the gym everything looked good and the man touring us was very cool. When it came time to discuss prices we had ended up talking to the general manager. We discussed prices and we felt it wasn't for us. He was so insist on us joining and just didn't take no as an answer. And I get that it's his job, but we are just 2 16 year Olds who have no experience in thing like this, and was a very poor experience over all. 0/10 would NOT recommend read more

This is my home gym and I have always had excellent experiences here. It's older than some, doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the new gyms, but the staff is fantastic. I wish there was a location that was more convenient for me and my husband. The customer service here is so inconsistent and most of the time, not great. I thought I was paying for child care and have been trying to work through it for 3 weeks. Each person I've spoken to has told me that I did have child care on my account and that a manager would get back to me. I finally spoke to Arela, the Operations Manager, and I can see where the low level of service comes from. It's very easy to sign up for this membership. They will gladly take your credit card information and give you a membership but when you go to cancel, it's almost impossible. Don't even think about trying to call for help that's useless, on the website if you can find the place to cancel your membership that doesn't work because it says that it will send you a link but the link doesn't arrive so then I went into the club And they said I need to do it online which is impossible because that doesn't work then they said they can try and cancel it within the club, but there's no guarantee so I need to keep coming back or calling the club to see if it actually canceled but they can't give me my information and they cannot email it to me for verification I'm canceling the account. My friend brought me to this Gym and I enjoyed it so much I immediately secured a membership. I then brought my friend, and they too got a membership as we both broke up with PF! I have a membership that allows me to go to ANY location WITH a guest if They give their phone number. A few times the gym reached out to my husband about signing up, but after we explained we always go together and I have the black pass, they were completely fine with that, respectful and haven't "bothered" us since (and we didn't tell them 'no' previously so we weren't mad. We prefer Mesa locations but the Warren and ten location has the coed sauna. Both my husband and I go to Greenfield and the 60. Yes, it can be packed, but we just take a look at google and are able to see the current level of patrons and can look at other hours that reveal the likeliness of how busy it is. They even have a "live" version available and when we check before going, it is always spot on so we plan our workouts accordingly. Greenfield is super clean, and has a wide range of options. While my husband enjoys the pool, I love the cinema cardio room. It always has a new movie playing day to day, but just know their movie of the day repeats. And the movies are always super fun, and some are new so it's like I'm saving a trip to Harkin's. I interact mostly with the front desk because I do not wish to have PT. This location has two saunas one for each "gender" in the Locker rooms. Conveniently for my husband, the pool room has a door that goes straight to the locker room. We started going during Covid and when everyone gained the covid 10 we lost a lot of weight! Time to go back though haha! My membership fee both yearly and monthly has never changed on me, and I was never overcharged. I love the variety of machines and the ability to see peak hours day to day. The girls upfront are super nice and always willing to unlock and lock the lockers that you can put your own code in as some do not work. Before opening it, she asked what was in the locker to confirm it was my stuff which was great so no one could steal my stuff! I thought that was super smart and professional (she has shorter hair). I love checking in with my apple wallet and their fridges are always stocked! I think the Black pass is the best bang for your Buck. And during COVID I never felt unsafe, and was still able to enjoy the gym (greenfield). Front desk people are both super nice, friendly and check people in and out fast! Thank you Eos! I will always continue to refer despite these reviews because my Personal experience has and continues to be a chain reaction of friends recommending friends! And Please remember, people only really review if their experiences were TERRIBLE, or really good. Very few between I have had other problems with saunas being out but greenfield has never been closed or keeping in need or repair. 24 hours! This is solely on my experience with a membership rep on Sunday evening. If you want someone who is upfront, transparent, non-pushy to sell, ask for Rachel (I think). Gave me time to think about the club, walked me around, was down to earth, and genuine. Go see her Sunday evening-night. I only cancelled because I was asked to but my mask over my nose, while I was the ONLY one in the cardio room. But half the people in the weight room were walking around half masked or no mask.
