With LA Fitness closing the PV locations I switched to Mountainside, and now to EOS. So far the experience has bee OK and the staff has been friendly and helpful. I was expecting more fitness classes and that was a disappointment... I thought the towel service was included with the highest tier membership and that is not the case, there is an additional $10 a month for towel service... I like the movie room for cardio, and the pool and sauna (unisex) seem OK so far. read more

This place was open on Easter and I have a health goal so I paid 20.00 for a day pass. I have a Planet Fitness and Mountainside membership. I travel for work so PF is just easy. This place makes PF look like a 4 star gym. The bathrooms are gross - the equipment is old and broke down. Glad it was open but wouldn't join. Better gyms in the valley. read more

Thanks to EOS fitness, I have changed from disliking working out at a gym to loving it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and there is a wide variety of updated machines and other equipment. The trainers are also top-notch, and there are classes for every fitness level. If you are looking for a gym, this EOS will meet your needs no matter your skill or fitness level while not straining your wallet. I Wanted to share a highly uncomfortable experience I had today at the Eōs Fitness 12869 N. Tatum. Phoenix. see if anyone else has dealt with this kind of behavior from their staff. When I walked in today, the guy working the front desk randomly asked me if I wanted to work out with him. I told him no, assuming that would be the end of it. Instead of dropping it, he completely crossed the line and asked me, "Why do you even bother working out at all then?" I found this incredibly forward, invasive, and insulting. I go to the gym to focus on my own health and routine, not to be interrogated, pressured, or insulted by the employees by the front door. We pay memberships to use a facility, not to deal with gatekeeping or unsolicited comments about why we are there. I don't feel like anyone should be subjected to this kind of unprofessional environment. I am planning on speaking to management, but I wanted to warn others. I've been coming to this EoS location for about six months. It's smaller than some other EoS, but it's brighter and smells better, a trade-off I can accept lol. I've gone part time to an EoS in the east valley and one in Houston, and this one is definitely my favorite. I also appreciate the mixed demographics of members going there. Some young, some old. Some male, some female,. Some extremely fit, some extremely not. Whatever you are, you won't feel unwelcome. They have a good variety of mostly newish equipment. Generally very well maintained. Signed up for four months of personal training with Sylvester. He's fantastic. Focused on my weaknesses and worked around my health history. Perfect. read more

This club recently decided to close the kids club with zero input from the people that use the gym. It is the busiest kids club in the district and it's closure will affect countless families. This was done to create "influencer rooms" in an attempt to cater to young people. Terrible decision and a real slap in the face to families that use the club. read more

DO NOT DO PERSONAL TRAINING HERE. They will strong arm you into a "free trial" that you can call and cancel within three days and still get four free sessions. Except when you call them, they don't cancel it, they charge you and send you an email that you're not able to cancel for EIGHT billing cycles. They make themselves impossible to get ahold of and give you the runaround every time you call, the fitness manager is always in a meeting and will call you back (he never does) or they just straight up leave you on hold. THIS GYM IS A SCAM. Do not waste your time here or at the very least DO NOT let them push you into any kind of training, they make it sound like this amazing deal when in all actuality they're robbing you. read more

I went at the ending of December 2024 and they offered me a membership for around 200 us they also said the first month will be free. the next day I personally went to the gym and I canceled the membership following their refund policies ... now we are In March 2025 .... almost 3 months... waiting for my refund , I am calling many times and at i have been there 7 times ( EOS phoenix , N. Tatum blvd.) I spoke with Nolan the manager and also another time also scaled the issue with the District Manager yamil ... still no refund . I dispute the charges with my credit card company and still the EOS business they did not have responded to them... I feel very frustrated & disappointed. read more

Was charged well beyond my agreed upon Personal Training contract. Spoke with the manager who SAID he would refund and send a copy of that contract. Still no word on either. DO NOT agree to any terms on personal training. I admit to not watching the charges, but almost $2k in charges later with no personal training is a scam! IF they truly believed I should be paying that, then you'd think they'd be calling to see where I was since I was paying them for personal training and not showing up. My contract was ended, but the charges continued. Now I keep getting collection notices from the billing company who I spoke to and understood that I didn't want to give them a new card number since they shouldn't have been charging me anyway. Apparently they get calls like mine a lot. read more

There seems to be a total lack of management. The restrooms are only marginally clean which has been a problem for years. Today There was no soap in any of the sink dispensers, no paper towels for wiping down sweaty equipment, and the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. And...good luck contacting the main office as it does not list a customer service number and its chat feature was inoperable. read more

Terrible staff and guests Ive been to many different locations of Eos fitness and never have I had as disrespectful of a staff and other customers than here. Was harassed multiple times by other guests here and employees do nothing to resolve the issue properly. I have had multiple issues at this gym with being overcharged, charged for services I did not ask for, and have experienced horrible customer service as it's impossible to find people that can fix these issues. I am not sure if management is just incompetent, or they just do not care in general. I would not recommend getting any services beyond the basic membership service at this gym. And even with that, I would double check your bank account for random charges every month. I would go elsewhere, gym is not that impressive anyways. read more

I have been a member at LA fitness for over 15 years. I originally started at the one on Camelback, but because we moved further north, I went to the one on Tatum and Shea. It is really taken a turn for the worst. It's constantly dirty and I had forgotten what great at gym Energy feels like. My buddy has been going on about how great this gym is for almost a year . I decided to join because my kids needed a membership for the summer. Usually at LA fitness for three months would cost me over $100 here I was able to join and bring them with me so they didn't need a membership. The front desk Person in the morning is always friendly and acknowledges us every time we arrive. Usually when we leave the staff always say goodbye which is also a nice change. The Energy in the gym is great. It seems like everybody there is to work out and get in shape. They have a great selection of equipment and lots of space to do different movements. My wife likes it for the movie theater. Lol They also do a really good job of keeping the gym clean, which is very important to me. Needless to say, I will be canceling my LA Fitness membership which only cost me $180 a year because I've been a member for so long. Awesome. read more

ILLEGAL PRACTICES - signed up for gym without my consent. Please take corrective action against Nolan. I came in for a day pass on May 6th with a friend. I was quoted $10 for a day pass and paid with my credit card. On the 20th of May I was charged $60. I called back and was told I was signed up for a membership. I never signed any paperwork, never was shown any plans and was never provided any information. I called back on the 20th and they apologized and told me they would cancel my membership and refund me, which I would have by Thursday that week. It is Tuesday, I called back today the 28th and was told a ticket is in the system but not approved. This is crazy! I cannot believe I was signed up for a membership without my consent at your gym. Please take corrective action against Nolan for this illegal practice. read more

I came from LA Fitness back in Nov 2020. I was going to LA Fit about 13x a month. I also was paying $34.99 a month @ LA Fit. That was the old,..here's the new- I go to EOS 18x a month. I pay $21.99 a month. 1- Machines are new, clean and often take the place of at least 2, sometimes 3 exercises I did a LA Fit in just 1 machine 2- Machines focus on Core and work areas that I'd never worked before 3- Overall atmosphere is one of very fit people, very focused on their workout 4- People are working out, not leaning against a machine shooting the breeze for 30 mins. 5- Lockerooms are get in and get out, not naked old dudes wandering around for hours. 6- Staff is very friendly and professional 7- Cost?,..no brainer,..I paid $34.99 a month for 10 yrs @ LA Fit,..they refused to lwr my dues in those 10 yrs. 8- Location- I live .8 mile from the location on Tatum and work .7 mile from the location on Cave Creek. All you have to do is walk and see all the of the incredibly fit people working out. Its a completely different atmosphere,..serious, polite and focused. You'll feel compelled to be the same!!! Equipment always broken. Customer service is terrible. Always trying to sell you more stuff. No one follows the rules. And when canceling, they still screw your out of an extra month. Usual dirty business. Asked them to fix their bikes countless times. They never ever did. Just run arounds. Deceptive company. I froze my account and was misinformed about the process. After a few months I was getting charged full price when my membership should have remained frozen and I was not aware that this would happen. While I called to resolve this issue, the staff did not apologize once for misinforming me and they refused to let me speak to a manager or give me a corporate number. I am trying to cancel my membership but the account is now $130 past due and they refuse to cancel my membership or reverse the charges until the past due amount is paid otherwise they said it would go to collections. Since the account isn't closed, they will continue to charge me the full price and take more money from me while I deal with unemployment. read more

I went to the water aerobics class today for the first time. I was informed the water heater is broken and the city shut off the water. Every toilet was filled with human waste and no way to flush. No showers available to shower before or after. The water was not clear and 75 degrees. This is a health hazard and this facility should be closed. Additionally, instructor reported the lockers have been broken into and someone had their car broken into. I reported this to an employee and was told the manager wasn't available. Stay away. read more
